Enjoy your stay at the holiday home Casa Mark in the picturesque old town of Forza d'Agrò. The house impresses with a beautiful view over the Ionian Sea up to the majestic Mount Etna.

Check-in: Convenient self check-in.

Parking: Free parking is available about 100 meters away on the street. Parking directly in front of the house is not possible as it is located in the narrow historic center. However, you can drive almost up to the house for loading and unloading (street width only 1.90 m).

Location: Public transport is within walking distance.

Stairs: Please note that the stairs in the house connecting the different levels are steep.



Rules: Pets are unfortunately not allowed. Smoking is prohibited throughout the house.

This place is amazing! Awesome little town with great food and stunning views! Even though there was a language barrier the community was so welcoming, helpful, and a joy to be around! Casa marc is a great place to stay and we hope to go back some day!

This place is awesome

The place is literally located at the top of a mountain with spectacular views and a local village vibe with some excellent restaurants and Gelato places nearby. The evenings on the roof-top patio were second to none and it was awesome to see the village transform from day to night with a glow of walkway lights making a truly magical night. At times you feel like you are on a movie set or video game and without much imagination a few centuries back in time. Amazing, so glad we stayed here. The unit is clean and updated. Truly a place I will never forget.

Horrible experience. Disappointing and we did not stay.

The home was misrepresented as a 2 bedroom property. The 2nd bedroom was a couch in the area where you entered the home. We didn’t stay at the property because on the night that we arrived. We were unable to locate the address. The owner tried to help us locate the property but gave us misinformation on the address. So we spent the night in our car. When we finally located the property, it was flooded with water and unsafe for us to stay. We left after doing a video call with the owner and informing him that we did not feel safe staying at the home. We have been trying to contact VRBO but cannot get a customer service representative to communicate with us. The virtual agent continues to give a response over and over that does not address our concerns.

On the night of your arrival, there was an unexpected weather event that caused water to enter part of the property. As soon as this was reported, the host immediately contacted the cleaning staff to address the issue, however we regret you decided not to stay. We also regret that locating the property was difficult for you. The host worked with you, providing Google Maps directions and assisting via video call. The host always strives to be available and supportive to guests, especially in unforeseen circumstances. We wish you more enjoyable travels in the future. Team Holidu.

Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung über 3 Etagen und mit 2 Dachterassen. Der Ausblick ist unschlagbar, 420 m über dem Meer und nahe der Küste: Im Norden sieht man in direkter Nähe die Ruinen des Normannenkastells, im Süden die Kathedrale der Heiligen Annunziata, im Westen den rd. 40 km entfernten Etna und im Westen den Stretto mit der Südspitze Italiens! Der Vermieter ist zwar nicht vor Ort, aber sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Topp!

Die Lage dieser Wohnung ist fantastisch! Im Herzen des mittelalterlichen Dorfs Forza d‘Agro wohnt man im historischen Ortskern in einem mittelalterlichen, jedoch schön und modern renovierten Haus. Die Wohnung erstreckt sich über drei Etagen. Unten befindet sich ein Raum mit bequemen und breiten Klappbett und ein Duschbad. In der Mitte sind Wohnzimmer mit großer Klappcouch und Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, oben ist die moderne Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit für und ein weiteres Duschbad, Das Highlight ist die große, möblierte Terrasse auf dem Dach. Sie ist über eine Außentreppe erreichbar. Die Aussicht über das Dorf und die Küste fantastisch. Zur anderen Seite sieht man, etwas eingeschränkt, den Etna. Dem authentischen Leben im historischen Bergdorf sind jedoch auch ein paar „Unwegsamkeiten“ geschuldet. Die Etagen sind über eine sehr enge und steile Wendeltreppe verbunden. Außerdem hat das Gemäuer in der unteren Etage eine gewisse Grundfeuchtigkeit. Weiterhin sind die Bäder sehr eng und beim Benutzen der Dusche ist es, trotz des sehr niedrigen Wasserdrucks kaum möglich, nicht das komplette Bad „unter Wasser“ zu setzen, da die Duschabtrennung (baulich bedingt) viel zu klein ist. Außerdem kam es, vielleicht auch feuchtigkeitsbedingt, immer wieder dazu, dass die Sicherungen des Hausstroms auslösten, ohne ersichtlichen Grund und vor Allem im Untergeschoss. Besitzer Anton war per WhatsApp sehr gut zu erreichen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen sicher wieder.
