In just five to eight minutes on foot, you can reach the town center, which features the tourist information office, restaurants, the spa center, the gradierwerk with its Kneipp facility, and shopping options. A bus stop is only about a 10-minute walk away. Just about a 30-minute walk away lies the picturesque Königssee with its famous echo and the St. Bartholomä pilgrimage church, as well as the Jenner—a popular hiking destination in the summer and the largest ski area in Berchtesgaden in the winter.
After a strenuous day of hiking, relax on your large balcony with a magnificent mountain panorama. A lockable storage room is available for your bicycles and skis. Schönau is also worth a visit in winter. The cross-country ski trail, which winds through the entire municipality, is just a 5-minute walk away, and over 100 km of groomed trails invite you to take a winter stroll.
