Amazing

The place was amazing as was the support. Any issue which arose was quickly resolved. Location was perfect - right next to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip.

Great location

Puerto Adventuras is a beautiful area and we very much enjoyed the beach and pools at Villa del Mar. We found the property manager to be prompt and helpful when arranging transportation and when an issue came up in our room. We will definitely travel back to Puerto Adventuras one day!

May Getaway

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Villa Del Mar condo. Everything was perfect including the location, the amenities of Puerto, and the condo itself. Being on the ground floor adjacent to the pool and beach was very convenient. We also felt very safe there due to the security of Puerto Aventuras.

Perfect location!

We were delighted by our stay in C105. Everything was perfect; location was ideal, Beach and pool were amazing, facilities are awesome…What a great trip! Only complaint was the prior individual who stayed and left dirty dishes in the oven, and towels and bedding in the wash, neither of which were the owner’s fault. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely property, Baumgaertners! All our best!

Most relaxing vacation ever!

Our stay in C105 was fantastic. We had everything we needed including privacy of our patio and beach. The town is so convenient and we always felt safe. Convenient grocery shopping and great restaurants. We ventured to Akumal but found the beaches busy and eager to get back to our own private beach. Snorkeled and swam in the ocean everyday. Saw a manta, sea urchins and lots of fish right in our bay. Will be back. Thanks to James for answering all our questions

Loved it

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I never located was an iron. Richard, the property manager was helpful and prompt anytime we had a question and we appreciated him. This is a nice peaceful property if you’re looking for a calm, relaxing vacation. We would love to stay at the condo again in the future. And if I had not been obligated to go to Cancun to visit with my mother-in-law on this trip, I would’ve stayed longer. I definitely prefer this area over the busy craziness of Cancun.

One week in paradise!

Communication with Jim & Peggy was fantastic! We were very appreciative for all the helpful advice. This condo is in a GREAT location. We enjoyed our morning coffees and afternoon adult beverages on the patio or under the palapa. Heavenly!! Villa del Mar is clean, safe and uncrowded. The beach was free of debris and the water was crystal clear. It was wonderful to stroll to dinner via the beach every night. Fun restaurants with great entertainment. We are already planning our return!

Great vacation apartment

Came to the area for a friends birthday celebration. Everyone rented condos at villas del mar. Perfect location for a big group to get together. The resort was not crowded at all despite Easter weekend. Plenty of space around the pools etc. loads of restaurant and bar options, never had to wait for a table. Great beach. The apartment served very us well. Spacious with everything we needed, lots of bath and beach towels, beach chairs etc. good layout for hosting. Our only complaints were that the master mattress was very soft and lounge sofas are very worn and could do with being replaced but otherwise an excellent apartment in the perfect location and great value for money.

A little piece of paradise

Puerto Aventuras is just amazing. Hidden away from the tourist traps of Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. The beach is just perfect. The pool sparkling clean. We rented the bottom condo which truly is steps to the beach and pool. The condo was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The staff are super friendly and helpful. James was also super helpful. He sent us tips and tricks and lot of recommendations. We wish we had stayed. Super sad to leave. Our family reconnected and relaxed. Thank you!!

Villas Del Mar C105

We had a great time during our stay. Having the pools and beach within a 1 minute walk from the unit was a big plus. It was aloo very convenient to have restaurants and the marina inside the community. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of a television in the main bedroom. We had a few hiccups the first day but Richard took care of everything within minutes. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and beds were very comfortable. This is a great unit to rent. You open the patio door and you're looking right at the beach and if you look left you see the pools .everythingcovenientHarestaurants and the

VDM C205

My family and I just returned from a fabulous week in this condo. It was exactly what what described -- clean, airy, new kitchen, and perfect location next to the beach and the pool. We sat out on the balcony morning and evening, drinking coffee, drinking wine, playing cards with our kids, reading, and just taking in the beautiful view. We also did a lot of snorkeling, exploring, visiting cenotes, jumping off a small cliff, swimming with the dolphins, and jumping the waves. Jim Baumgaertner, the owner, was so easy to work with -- and on top of that, he was very helpful with tips on transportation, places to visit, places to eat, and what to pack. Jaime Revilla, the property manager, was available and helpful as well. Though this was our first visit, it will not be our last. We cannot wait to go back!

Paradise at villas del mar c205

My family and I stayed in the villas del Mar c205 for 2 weeks over Christmas and what a treat it was. I have rented many condos through out the Mayan and this is by far the best we have stayed in , in terms of location pool and beach. We booked through vbro and then corresponded with the owners who made the processes very easy. The owners(Jim and Peggy) were staying in their other condo for a few days while we were there, so we got to meet them, they are a delight. The condo has amazing views and It worked great for our family. The entire complex was excellent. The pool is big and although not heated was still warm, the beach is the best in all of PA. They have built a break in the water to keep the sand in and it works good. There is also excellent snorkeling just out from the condos. We went out many times and saw lots of beautiful fish. Jim and Peggy had done a complete renovation of their other condo c105 and we got to see it, wow it was beautiful! I believe they are planning one for the upstairs condo as well in 2012 so I'm sure it will be just as amazing. We had no problems at all with the condo but if there was Jaime (he looks after the condo)was only an email away. Besides the beach and pool my favorite thing to do was everymornig i would go out by myself to the restraunts and cafes and buy fresh made croissants and bread.... Delicious... there was also a fresh fruit market 3x a week. The walk to where the cafes are is only about 2 min and I felt as safe as I would in my home town in Canada. Definitely the safest of any condo I have rented( this was my 5th) in Mexico I would highly recommend this condo!! Thank you Jim and Peggy for an amazing time, you are wonderful people ( sorry this took so long to write)

Great location!

We've always stayed in this condo community because of it's amenities and proximity to the marina! It's perfect for families with 2 large pools, and a semi private beach. The beach has a great break, so the kids can swim and enjoy the ocean without risk of strong waves. This condo is a perfect location within the community because it's so close to the pools and the beach.

C105 lovely property, well maintained. Personable staff, security lead, Jose, went out of his way to help. Richard, property manager, for this unit,, was always helpful. Grounds impeccable.

Attention to details!

The property is very well located. Waking to restaurants and of course right at the beach. It has all you need. James, the property owner and Richard, the manager, are always available and helping you enjoy your stay as much as possible. Incredible. I’d definitely stay here again if coning to the riviera maya. Had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous

We all loved C105, the beach was steps from the patio area and same with the pool. The Marina was walking distance too which had a lot of restaurants, stores and dolphins. The Owner James and the property Manager Richard were extremely helpful and nice. We'd love to come back to this place. We told all are friends and family about this property and that they'd love it too.

Fantastic location! Condo needs some TLC

Overall we had a wonderful stay in PA. This condo’s location to the beach is truly 10 steps! The condo was clean...however the kitchen is in desperate need of replacing overall kitchen wear like knives, drinking glasses, and cook-wear. Most of the cook-wear had to be washed prior to use b/c it was not clean! There was not a matching set of drinking glasses of any kind, all mix match pieces. Many items such as forks, knives, coffee mugs and Tupperware like items appeared to be rinsed only and put back up like they were clean. Could not use the spa at all, in terrible condition. Bring your own beach towels b/c the ones in the unit are in down right deplorable condition! Furniture is dated and overall rough around the edges. The living room couch is like sitting on the floor b/c it sinks so far down and uncomfortable. In the guest bedroom my 17 year old daughter turned on the ceiling fan only for it to fall down about 12 inches luckily the wiring connection kept it from completely falling down and hitting her and her brother in the head. We took pictures and submitted it to property manager. Richard the manager was a delight and very helpful and willing to accommodate and answer questions. The local Restaurants in PA were very good, although we did not find them to be on the cheaper end when compared to prior stays Mayan Riviera dining. We will be back to this area but will look for other condos in better condition.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay at this condo! It’s literally just seconds from the beach which is absolutely beautiful. And It’s also only about a five minute walk to the restaurants and shops. We spent many days just hanging out on the beach and snorkeling in the cove. I would suggest bringing your own snorkel gear. The condo has everything out need for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. We often walked to the local grocery store which is across the highway-about a 3/4 mile walk. It’s much cheaper than the convenient store in PA. The property manager, Richard, picked us up at the airport (for a reasonable fee) which worked out very well. He was very responsive and helpful with our needs. James is also very helpful with questions and has lots of good information for your stay. As far as Covid is concerned, we felt very safe. Staff at the shops and restaurants were very good about wearing masks and sanitizing. Thank you James, Peggy and Richard. We will be back!

Christmas in Mexico

My family of six had a great time over Christmas and New Year’s staying in Puerto Aventuras. The location was perfect for all our activities. We loved having the beach footsteps away from the condo. Community felt very safe. The manager, Richard, was very responsive and helpful as was the owner, Jim. Our overall experience was 5 stars because of the amenities, the community grounds, the kitchen, and comfort of the condo. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because of wear and tear has taken its toll over the years as some paint has peeled off, rust has formed, outside tub is not inviting and some of the snorkeling gear was broken and unclean. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this condo.
