Waterfall House | Japandi Design & Private Sauna

Summary:

Stay in our newly renovated designer home, nestled in the peaceful countryside of Chiba, with direct access to the beautiful Awamata Waterfall.

The house combines modern comfort with traditional Japanese craftsmanship, featuring 7-meter-high ceilings, beautiful carpentry details, and plenty of natural light throughout. At the heart of the home is a spacious living room that connects all the rooms, creating a warm and inviting space to relax and spend time together.

The fully equipped 3-meter-long kitchen is perfect for cooking and enjoying meals together, while the spacious outdoor area offers the ideal setting for a BBQ surrounded by nature.

Located between forest and river, the house offers the perfect balance of privacy, nature, and comfort.

Perfect for families, friends, and groups looking for a stylish, cozy, and truly unique stay in rural Japan.

The Space:

Our house has three spacious rooms: a living-dining room with a loft, a Scandinavian-style bedroom, and a traditional tatami room.

The tatami room sleeps 3–4 guests, the living room has a sofa bed for two and space for two more in the loft, and the Scandinavian-style bedroom has a luxury queen-size bed for two.

The large dining table and fully equipped kitchen are perfect for cooking and enjoying meals together. Making our home an ideal choice for families, friends, and groups who enjoy cooking and staying together.

Outside, you can relax on the terrace, enjoy a barbecue, or use the open space for yoga and other activities. There is also a private sauna in the garden.

We. are a pet friendly stay!

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Guest Access:

Due to the unique location of the house, there is no direct car access to the property. From the nearest road, it’s just a short 2-minute walk to the house.

There is a paid parking area nearby, as well as a free parking spot located a little further uphill. We recommend bringing lighter luggage if possible, as you’ll need to walk the final few minutes to reach the house.

The Neighborhood:

In the nature of Otaki. Few steps away from the Awamata Waterfall.

Getting Around:

Accessable only by walk from the close by street.
