A lakeside paradise for small families

The so-called “Fischerkate” is located directly on the shore of Lake Stocksee, in the heart of picturesque Holstein Switzerland. This small cottage is part of the Stockseehof estate and, until a few years ago, served as housing for the estate’s harvest workers. In 2023, the house underwent extensive renovation with great attention to detail. The result is this gem, which captivates with its unique location just 20 meters from Lake Stocksee and its superb floor plan.

The interior design meets the latest standards while remaining true to the traditional country house style. The warm colors and well-thought-out furnishings make the house a truly cozy retreat by the lake. Important to know: The second bedroom is located on a sort of loft and does not have its own door.

The Pliete Fishing Club, located right next door, rents out rowboats, so you can set out on a rowing trip right from the house.

Information about the surrounding area:
Around Stocksee, traffic patterns may change from time to time due to construction sites and road closures. In these cases, gravel trucks also drive through the nearby village street. Unfortunately, we have no control over the traffic rerouting or the resulting traffic volume.

Please also note that there is a fishing club located by the lake. We also have no control over their activities or event schedules.
