Excellent property, location, communication, and everything you need for a trip to Glacier NP, Polebridge, or both. It is a special place, one we come back to year after year and will continue to do so. Thank you for hosting our family again.

The property has a great location for access to Polebridge and Glacier National Park. The property was clean and all amenities worked as advertised. The host was available for any questions that we had. The property is quiet, and has great views of the surrounding mountains. Several deer past through the property, daily, and made mornings even more enjoyable.

This property was amazing. So cozy and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was also perfect. We'd fallen in love with the "off the beaten path" side of Glacier when we visited 6 years ago so knew we wanted to stay in this area. I only had one question and Amy was very responsive and I received an answer quickly. It was quiet, we saw lots of deer and some eagles flying over the field we could see from the main bedroom. We hiked the 13 mile Quartz Lake loop trail off of Bowman lake and it was amazing. So quiet, amazing views and the colors of Glacier ALWAYS amaze me. We had a post hike meal at the Northern Lights Saloon in Polebridge and returned the next morning for an obligatory huckleberry bear claw and coffee. We would definitely return and stay again.

Polebridge and the Cabins At Hay Creek are special places. We visit each year and also enjoy our time and hate leaving. It’s fantastic.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. Clean and ready to go upon arrival. Mary was there right away to say a quick hello! We enjoyed being off the grid and seeing deer come by every morning and evening

A perfect get-away place; beautiful view from the windows/porch, peaceful, quiet. The rustic-looking-but-modern log cabin was comfortable, clean, has great kitchen space with every thing needed w stove, cabinets, frig, pans and knives, etcBeds were comfortable for a whole will stay, w enough pillows and blankets. Carpeted bedrooms nice on cool mornings.Loved the patio/porch, where we sat daily, enjoying the mountains, sunset, birds and deer.I was concerned reading the "solar power only. No high wattage devices allowed" instructions, but all was fine - enough hot water, lights. Minor adjustment to cooking in not having a microwave - but gas stove excellent.Good access to Glacier NP Northwest section and Polebridge only a couple miles away - though car always dirty and dusty from the dirt roads. About 10 deer fed daily in the fields next to the cabin - a joy to watch groups of fawns running and playing every day. I'm a birder - saw hawks, kestrels and harriers daily. Owls calling some nights. Saw grouse and an eagle during our week start

Complete perfection!!

Communication was excellent, Mary & Ian were very quick to respond. When we pulled into the property, the view took my breath away! Absolutely stunning! The cabin was very clean and comfortable! I would definitely stay there again!!

We really liked the cabin. It was clean and the views were amazing. Upon leaving the only thing we did not like is that the owner wants the guests to take the trash to a trash drop off spot. The town where the trash drop off is 30 miles away. We had a very early flight when we were leaving. We took the trash to the owner’s desired drop spot and they were closed. Did not open until 8am. When you are paying $300.00 ish per night I wouldn’t think the renter should need to work for the sanitation department.

Nice view; otherwise disappointing

This log cabin seems relatively new and has a million dollar view of the Livingston Range in Glacier Park. However, the was no running water (only a trickle when we arrived and none when we left a few days later) so we could not wash dishes or bath. Beware that the water system appears to be river water (i.e., non-potable). The cabin is heated by a small and dangerous wood stove: the glass on the door is broken and flammable sap is leaking from the wall behind, where there should be heat-resistant protection. Our toddler took a spill down the stairs because there is no handrail; fortunately, she landed on her feet not head... With no cell or internet connection, there is no way to reach the host about these issues, so we had to make do. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

The only issue that is correct is that the water was low flow in the shower. I was unaware of it until 2 days after their stay. I have had many renters either walk down to the main cabin or find internet in the past if they had any questions. The water is not only potable but is tested and is cleaner than anything you would find in the city. It is well water. The wood stove heats the entire cabin within a short period of time. It was used right after this stay without incident. As for the stairs, they passed inspection as they are and I have had people in these rentals for 10 years now without incident or even having brought up concern about the stairs. I am sad that their stay was less than they would have wished. I have only had 5 star reviews and would have offered another cabin had I been aware of the water issue.

LOVED our stay at this cozy cabin near Polebridge and Glacier boasting spectacular scenery and wildlife viewing from the deck. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities and ample supplies on hand including everything needed for cooking. The cabin was very clean and the pictures don’t reflect how cute this cabin is. We love the solitude of the western side of Glacier and will definitely stay here again the next time our travels being us back to this area.
