Just 8 miles from the slopes of Jay Peak, NE's premier ski resort know for deep powder, exceptional glade skiing and wealth of varied terrain, you'll find this homey and comfortable two bedroom suite that features all the amenities you need for a great getaway. You'll find a comfortable furnished living room with sleeper couch, Roku with Netflicks, PBS, News & More plus WIFI. Full size bath with claw foot tub, two cozy bedrooms featuring queen size beds, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, mini frig, microwave and more. There is no full kitchen, just enough for simple breakfast. Please not crock pots, electric fry pans. We are not set up for cooking.

The suite is located in the heart of Montgomery Center, a classic, picturesque Vermont Village that serves as the hub of skier services for Jay Peak. Just outside your door you'll find restaurants, nightclub, pizzeria, grocery store with excellent wine selection and liquor store and ski shop.

All the comforts of home for a fraction of the price of comparable properties.

Montgomery center stay

Place was awesome, very clean. Karen was very friendly. The location was excellent. We did leave before staying the second night due to a foot situation, but no fault of the place and will definitely plan to stay again. So close to Jay Peak and all Amenities.

Excellent location!

This is the second time we have stayed at Karen's. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the tv/living room area is big enough to spread out and relax after a day of skiing. Montgomery is adorable, with some great places for meals all within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Great little apartment for a Jay Peak ski weekend. Good location, food and drinks within walking distance and short drive to the mountain. The discounted lift tickets were so great! Would stay again. Couldn't have asked for more for the price.

Perfect for what we needed!

We stayed with our two girls. It was great to have two bedrooms. We normally try to all stay in a hotel room. This was much better! Very clean and comfortable. .

Booked 2 nights for a ski trip to Jay Peak. Really enjoyed Montgomery Center. Make sure you eat a Bernie’s at least once. Everything is convenient, hill is 8 miles away, Plenty of places to eat within blocks and groceries just a block away.

Great location, nice apartment

We had a great time. Close to Jay, but away from resort chaos. Walk next door for a delicious family dinner (mention your starting locally for 10% off) or across the street for tasty bakery & coffee & ski tuning. Easy to get used to washing dishes in the bathroom sink and ducking for one low doorframe into the family room. The property managers work downstairs during work hours.

Great location!

Overall, we loved the place and give it 5 stars- the location, cleanliness, bedrooms were really nice, very private/quiet, proximity to Jay Peak, restaurants (The Belfry was great!)... A few little things to note: There is a small basin to wash dishes (no kitchen) but if I came again, I would bring paper plates, utensils, etc. as dishes were a bit hard to clean. Bathroom is spacious and really nice but shower is a little awkward and the bathroom door doesn't close completely. There is no thermostat to control the heat. Overall, would highly recommend.

The property was clean and conveniently located next to a breakfast business that is extremely good. I will certainly recommend this to any family. Stowe Mount is about an hour away from this property as well.

Peaceful Location

This property was great for a retreat in the middle of no where. If you want to get close to nature and the beautiful covered bridges that are local, then this is the place to stay. The kitchen amenities were very limited which made it a bit harder to stay there. We did figure it out. We did not know we would not have a freezer. The diner and coffee shop within walking distance was super adorable and had good food. Saturday at Bernie's is prime rib nigh and that is massive and cheap. The stairs was a little bit steep for my mom to get up and down. We made things work and it was a cute place to stay for our 4 days. Karen was super sweet and super welcoming. We did not have cell service only her WIFI. Which was fine to get away from our phones. I am not sure what service works best there but At&t does not. Overall great place. We went off season at the end of May.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The apartment is a short 10 minute drive to Jay Peak and has everything you need to be comfortable for your stay. Karen also provided a number of helpful recommendations and clear check-in instructions.

Great place to stay not far from Jay Peak

We spent four nights here while visiting our son who works at Jay and lives a few houses down Main Street. Karen was very prompt in responding to my questions. There's a little grocery store a few buildings down and several restaurants within the block, as well as a biking/hiking/snowshoe trail that can be accesses from behind the property as well. Would definitely stay here again, and because there are 2 bedrooms plus a living area it would work well for a family or two couples also.

Perfect getaway

This property is so cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband and I stayed with our adult daughter, and there was plenty of room. It provided a perfect homebase after our days of activity. Steps were a little tricky, but don't let that stop you! Book now!

Greatest Location

We are returning guests for several years, because of the few minute walkability to excellent local food that now has another option directly across the street. The accommodations are very clean & comfortable.

Nice 2 BR right in Montgomery Center

This is a bright 2BR with a large living space just steps away from Montgomery Restaurants and stores. About a 20 min. Drive to Jay Peak. There is really no kitchen, Just a minifrige and a microwave at the top of the stairs and a table with coffee maker and tea kettle. A small table with chairs (even a bistro set) would greatly improve the apt. and there's plenty of room. If one only wants to have breakfast and maybe lunch to go this is perfect.

As advertised

We were very pleased with the place! Everything very clean as it appeared on vrbo (though some pics of the same rooms need to be updated). Very nice hardwood floors and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
