The Nassfeld ski area, with 110 km of slopes in southern Austria, is very reliable when it comes to snow and boasts plenty of sunshine due to its location on the southern side of the Alps. It features the Millennium Express, the longest gondola in Austria. A 20-minute drive will take you to Weissensee, a popular destination for ice skating enthusiasts in winter, while in spring, summer, and autumn, it is a must-visit for nature lovers. Within 10 minutes by car, you can also reach the impressive Garnitzen Gorge, which offers beautiful hiking and walking opportunities. With its crystal-clear waters set among the mountains, it is one of the most stunning spots in Austria. There is plenty of space for children to play. Not in the mood to cook?
