We are Katja & Maik Görke, your hosts at Work & Relax Workation in the North. We love water in all its forms: rivers, lakes, and especially the sea. We’ve always been drawn to the North Sea and have always taken trips to Dithmarschen. Arrive and relax—it’s perfect here. So it was only natural that we looked for a home right here when we became mobile in terms of work. We moved to the tranquil town of Eddelak in 2022 and felt right at home immediately. That’s what we hope for our guests, too—whether you’re spending your vacation here or taking a break from your usual work environment to finally finish a major project. We know how valuable a mobile work setup is for your quality of life. So it was clear: we’d convert the small guest apartment into a high-quality “workation” retreat here in the north.
