Welcome to our spacious mountain retreat in Castle Glen Estates, one of Big Bear Lake’s most desirable and peaceful neighborhoods. With beautiful views of Bear Mountain, plenty of room to relax, and comfortable spaces for families and friends, this cabin is the perfect setting for a memorable Big Bear getaway.

The home features three oversized bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a large loft with a comfortable sofa, desk, and full-size pool table. The primary bedroom includes a California king bed and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two queen beds, and the third bedroom has one queen bed.

Enjoy beautiful mountain and ski-slope views from the large wraparound deck. The outdoor area includes a dining table and chairs, a barbecue, and a comfortable wicker sectional—perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee, sharing a family meal, or enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Inside, gather around the real wood-burning fireplace after a day of skiing, hiking, boating, or exploring Big Bear. Three smart TVs with Roku and high-speed Wi-Fi provide entertainment and make the cabin a comfortable place for remote work.

The newly upgraded kitchen is fully equipped for preparing family meals. It features stainless-steel appliances, a French-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer, an air fryer, blender, electric tea kettle, traditional coffee makers, an espresso machine, and a Turkish coffee maker. Guests will also find plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and silverware.

Additional highlights include beautiful new flooring throughout the home, new porcelain bathroom tile, updated furniture and area rugs, a dining area with barstool seating, and a two-car garage.

Castle Glen Estates offers a quiet mountain setting while keeping you conveniently close to Big Bear Lake’s most popular attractions, including Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, the lake, hiking trails, restaurants, shopping, and the Village.

Maximum occupancy is 10 guests, and all City of Big Bear Lake vacation-rental rules must be followed. Parties and unauthorized events are not permitted. If you are considering a special gathering, please contact us before booking, as advance city approval may be required.

Enjoyable Holiday Stay

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and would happily stay there again. The neighborhood is fantastically upscale and the host is a joy to communicate with and was responsive to any needs we had. I highly recommend this cabin for a wonderful experience in the mountains!

Beautiful Cabin

Came with a few friends to getaway for the weekend. The cabin was perfect ! Stunning views of the mountains and it was so peaceful. We even went in the hot tub and it was so relaxing.Rita was a great host and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Wonderful host and property manager

Thank you to the host and her helper very responsive to our questions and wonderful neighborhood. Loved the fireplace heater in the master bedroom and the real wood burning fireplace in the living room.

When we arrived, the house temperature was 89. We tried adjusting the thermostat but it wouldn’t let us because it was so on heat only. When I called the host, she stated that air-conditioning was not an option as it would trip the breaker even though it was on the description on website. The only air-conditioning she had was a portable air-conditioning unit. She said that we could open the windows. However, it was 90 outside so opening the windows was just hotter. We used the portable AC unit as she suggested and opened the windows. However it continued to be 87 to 89 throughout our stay. We had a 3 week old baby and 2 adults with us with health issues and need a cooler air. We ended up spending 200 in fans however it didn’t really help. Some of the place wasn’t cleaned as well as others and it was very dusty. We had an ant problem in the bathroom downstairs in the kitchen. We had spiders in the upstairs bathroom. We had to buy ant spray and spray it a couple of times a day to make sure that we kept the ants away from our food. The downstairs sink was clogged which my son-in-law ended up unclogging. We had to stock our own paper towel and toilet paper as there was only a couple of each when we were there and we were there 8 days. Many of the windows didn’t have screens, which allowed bugs and mosquitoes to come in the home. The Jacuzzi was filthy. One of the burners in the stove didn’t work. The Keurig machine was broken. However, they did have a drip machine.

Dear Lorie, I’m sorry that the unusually warm weather affected your comfort. Our listing does not advertise central air-conditioning. It clearly states that a portable AC unit is available upon request with 24 hours’ advance notice. Although we did not receive an advance request, we still provided a portable unit after you contacted us. When you remained uncomfortable, I offered to refund your unused nights so you could relocate, but you declined and completed your stay. The cabin was professionally cleaned before arrival, and we maintain regular pest-control service. Because the property is in a mountain and wildlife area, an occasional insect may enter despite these precautions. We have also reviewed the maintenance and supply concerns mentioned in your review. We regret that the stay did not meet your expectations, but we made every reasonable effort to assist you, including providing the portable AC and offering a refund for the remaining nights. Wonderful Cabin

This cabin is wonderful. The check in went with out a hitch. Rita was very helpful and gracious. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our Christmas stay and made our family Christmas memorable. We will definitely be back hopefully this early spring.

Beautiful Home

Our stay was great! The home is large, the playroom is wonderful and the views from the porch are spectacular! The 4th of July fireworks show was visible from the driveway which was very convenient. The home has a portable AC unit but the home cooled down in the evening. The hot tub had strong jets. Overall, it was a great stay and I would bring my family back. The owner and the property manager are very nice and extremely helpful. It is very close to the lake. Great family getaway, don’t hesitate to book this gem in Big Bear!

Great Stay With Family- June 2025

We were looking for a destination location to get together with our son and daughter-in-law and four of our grandchildren. The home was beautiful and the perfect fit for our need. When we arrived, Rita and her team were there working on last minute items to ensure the property was ready for our stay. Rita was very helpful and responsive to our needs. The only item that could have been better was due to some of the last minute work, there was a noticeable layer of dust on the furniture and countertops. I know Rita would have addressed it, but we just wiped the surfaces off ourselves. Highly recommend this property as it is a beautiful home and because the host is so responsive. Thank you Rita for everything.

Great place to stay

There were a total of 9 of us and we were very comfortable. Amazing cabin, very nice touches and tons of space. The patio and Jacuzzi are amazing! It had great decor, it was clean, and fun! I would definitely recommend this place. The views from the place are impressive. It was a very safe neighborhood. We spent the New Year´s Eve there and It was snowing a lot. Rita sent a person to clear the driveway to make things easier to us. Rita was very helpful and professional host :) will come back.

family vacation

we just needed a few days away from all the stress we live in. week, my first impression was two 9 foot carved out bear on each side of the driveway. The property had more animals carved out in wood and it was so neat to see this well kept up property. all the furniture is high end furniture and everything was kept very nice. Cable, WFI TV'S, SPA WAS WORKING WITH NO PROBLEM. I ALSO FELT SECURE SINCE THEY CLOSE FRIENDS BY JUST IN CASE . If you have any questions the owner is always available on the phone. I will decently come back to this place and recommend this to my friends. The view is incredible from every angle of the house.

Amazing cabin!!!

But absolutely amazing and beautiful cabin that is well-kept and feels like the home I've always wanted in the mountains. Stayed at this cabin with my family for the weekend and have to say that we had an absolutely great time. We chose Big Bear as a vacation destination since it has been quite a while since we have had a family vacation and I have to say I was very pleased with the location and the cabin. Highly recommend this cabin to anybody who is looking for a relaxing getaway in a comfortable cabin.

Castle glenn

I had such a good time with 7 of my girlfriend this fault. The cabin sis located very private and it was such a peaceful place to stay. The cabin was equip with all the necessary dishes, pots, pan ,towels ,bed sheet and it was very clean. It was easy check in with no long wait in line. we just drove straight to the cabin. The view was incredible and we where close enough to stores and the slope whithout have to fight all the traffic. I decently want to bring my family to this first class place.
