Unbeatable location

The unit had everything we needed and we were able to enjoy days on so many beaches and the south Maui gardens had amazing shows that we were able to enjoy up close and again from the second room! Great views. Steps to surf beach, playground and south Maui gardens (and their food trucks)

Great location and pleasant stay

The owners were awesome at helping out when there were issues with the sink and at answering questions. The condo was not set up for the children which was tough when we got in as late as we did, but we found the crib and kids bed in the storage room and set them up quickly. The pool and AC were delightful as was the gardens right behind the building with food trucks. Highly recommend this place.

Family celebration

Location was great!!! Food trucks, restaurants and shops were all a short walk away. Check-in was a breeze. Condo was spacious and clean. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Would surely book again.

Great location, centrally located to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. Food trucks behind building were amazing. Air conditioning units in main living area as well as both bedrooms worked well and were quiet. Across the street from the ocean and a nice park, we caught several beautiful sunsets there. We did have a few issues with the condo during our stay, but the host was quick to respond to our questions and did what she could to resolve the issues. Overall it was a nice stay.

This condo was just ok. Not enough furniture to sit with multiple people in the living room area. Smaller that expected and layout not the best. Michelle was great to work with she took care of the issues that came up. The location is great because it's has all the wonderful food trucks in back of the complex. The complex is very old.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The unit was very large and has everything needed. The owner was very helpful and answered all questions. We would stay here again.

Beautiful Location

Overall we enjoyed our stay. A couple things could have been improved. We didn’t have enough paper towels or toilet paper for our week long stay. Not a huge deal because we purchased additional supplies

Perfect vacation

This condo was exactly as advertised. It was a very short walk to the grocery store and souvenir shopping and the beach is right across the street. The property manager responded quickly and there was good communication.

Overall pleased

My family and I loved our stay in Kihei! The manager was friendly and maintained good communication during our stay. Our only complaint is of the roaches around the home when we arrived. As states in the title, we are overall pleased with our stay

Everything we needed

This property was the perfect property for us right in the middle of Kihei. It was within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We had everything we needed inside, including all the beach supplies we would ever need. We were able to go to the beach every day and wash our towels and bathing suits for the next day. We were told how to combat the heat, and had no problems. We were very pleased with our stay here and would consider coming back.

Nice location and condo

We were 4 adults and a teenager. The location is great! We love island surf! The master bed was super comfy! Really liked the water in the fridge door. (Sometimes it’s the little things :) ) We enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back to Maui soon!

Excellent location and phenomenal stay!

Right from the start, the host was exceptional! I thought that the crib for my baby (7 months) would be included but it wasn’t. The host had made contact a few days prior and when I asked them if it would be possible to arrange for a crib on such short notice (the night before), they made it happen! Amazing communication throughout, super easy check in! Property is absolutely stunning with amazing location and views with lots of things to do around you as well as lots of good food options. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat based on our experience.

Island surf Kihei

Great for family. Bedrooms are situated away from each other so couldn’t hear others get up in morning. Klik klak futon in living room. Kitchen and bathroom was equipped with all items that were needed including shampoo and sun lotion( could have been left by previous guest). Excellent location with food trucks with entertainment behind the rear parking lot. Volleyball , beach and park for kids across the street. Foodland 5 min walk for groceries and lots of restaurants/bars. Bbq and pool area was larger than expected. There are picnic tables to sit at and eat your meal. Would stay again. The twin beds are a bit firm.

Very pleasant host, excellent view/ location

Everything was great and just about as expected. Unfortunately, the dryer was basically non functional the whole trip, as the dryer vents were full the whole time. Also the living room AC was leaking so we weren’t able to run it which was a bummer because the west walls are all glass and the unit does heat up quite a bit the second half of the day. Also don’t leave the toaster plugged in after running as it didn’t fully turn off when we used it. The host however, really did their best to accommodate not only with the extra items we needed before the trip but also when we faced issues during. She even helped with breakfast one morning due to the appliance issues we faced. Parking can be limited at night as the front lot is currently closed due to construction happening. The location to the beach, nearest village and eateries is fantastic. And there are 2 family friendly beaches in walking distance with a water sport rental next door. Also, live music all around and the food truck lot in the back is so cool! We appreciate the host so much! And this was a great location!

This was a great place to stay. We were 3 adults and 4 kids so we used all of the beds/cots. The location is amazing. Foodland grocery store is a block away, food truck park right behind, and balcony overlooks the beach park across the street. Easy beach access. Surfing lessons next door. The condo has some beach chairs and towels which was great. Some extra bedding would have been appreciated but in fairness we could have contacted the property manager and just didn’t bother. Some construction work being done to the outside of the building but it wasn’t loud. Pool was clean, we used the outdoor grills in the shared space. We would totally stay here again. Great spot, comfortable living space. We had a great time here.

WE ENDED UP CHECKING OUT AFTER BEING IN THE UNIT FOR 20 mins. THE PLACE WAS DIRTY. Location great but I would not ask my family to stay there in the filth. We ended up leaving and not staying the 5 days and having to self lodge after paying for 5 days here. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Awesome location

Great little place apart from the renovation taking place directly under the apartment. The noise was unbearably loud during the day and spoiled our holiday. Wish we were informed sooner or offered a discount as offer of goodwill. Also if you need cold aircon this place isn’t for you. It gets hot in the arvo due to wall to ceiling glass facing the west side. The aircon can’t keep up, even doing as owner suggested by keeping the curtains & windows closed. They also smell musty. The great things about this place are the rooms, the layout, comfy bed and clean linen. It’s got all the kitchen stuff you need (decent pots & knifes!) so you can cook h family meals with ease. The beach towels & toys are very useful. The pool area was utilised daily! The location is what sold us on this place. Skate park & playground across the road, supermarket not far walk and heaps of food vans next door! Would definitely stay again, thanks Michelle.

Comfortable, clean, and very functional base of operations

While the building itself is a but shabby on the exterior, the condo interior looks recently renovated with new fixtures and appliances, and was very clean. There were ample cutting boards, glasses, utensils, etc., large fridge, with useful ice and water dispenser. The two bedrooms and living rooms and independently controlled AC heads on a mini-split system that keep the apartment nice a cool. We found the master bedroom was a little warmer, but if we set the thermostat at a lower temperature than the others, the room stayed perfectly cool. We heeded the host's suggestion to keep the west-facing shades closed in the afternoon to help keep the heat out. There are at least four beach chairs, several coolers, and other beach toys that were extremely helpful to have on hand. These were clean and in good shape. Other reviews mentioned cockroaches. We just saw two small ones which were easy to dispatch. The location is great. Near to many great beaches, and in walking distance or a short drive to countless restaurants and grocery stores. A true gem is located on the other side of the parking lot from the apartment building: a kind of food court garden that is situated in the expanse of a tropical nursery. We had absolutely no complaints.

It was what I did not expect ;(

It's my second time in Maui renting but this one was not what I expect unfortunately. We were looking for a place for 7 people, 4 adults and 3 teenagers but the second room only had two beds but were smaller than a twin and they didn't fit well. Also make sure if you want to use the rollaway bed they are going to charge you for each day. Supposedly when I rented they said it fits 8 people in this place but this information is inaccurate. The place need make some update because the door to go to the porch doesn't work well and was not too clean in general. Also the second night we found in the kitchen cockroaches so we have to be really careful with our food. We reported to Michel who is the host and she said she going to contact the building manager and they said they just did a pest spray in august. We had good communication with her but she didn't know why VRBO had this place listed for 8 adults was not comfortable for us and we are 7, she said they going to change this information. So make sure to have just kids for the extra room and the sofa bed also is not good. Also they ask you to wash all the towels and folded and put all the sheets to wash and take all the trash out. I thought we were paying for the cleaning. We are not going to stay again, this did not work for our family:(
