The vacation rental is in an excellent location right on the inland harbor in the heart of Husum. It is situated in a well-maintained residential building right on the Husum Au, a side channel of the harbor. The unobstructed view of the water is one of the special features of this accommodation. From the living area or balcony, you can watch the soothing movement of the water, passing boats, and waterfowl—a charming backdrop at any time of day. The picturesque Husum inland harbor, with its restaurants, small shops, and cafés, begins right outside the front door. The weekly market on the market square, the castle outside Husum with its castle park, and the Theodor Storm House are all within easy walking distance. Bakeries, supermarkets, and other shopping options are also located in the immediate vicinity. The train station is also within walking distance. Despite its central location, the apartment remains quiet—ideal for anyone who appreciates being close to everything yet still wants to enjoy relaxing moments with a view of the water.

The apartment is located on the first floor, was completely renovated and refurnished in July 2025, and offers ample space for up to four people across approximately 80 square meters. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area forms the heart of the vacation rental and features a design that is both modern and cozy. The living area features a comfortable corner sofa that invites you to relax, whether after a day enjoying the fresh North Sea air or for a cozy evening with a book or movie. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and create a welcoming atmosphere. Directly adjacent is the dining area with a solid wood table and four comfortable chairs, ideal for shared meals or game nights. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped and blends seamlessly into the overall design of the space. In addition to a modern ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and dishwasher, it also offers numerous small appliances such as a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and microwave. There is also ample counter space and storage.

Directly from the living area, you can step out onto the covered balcony—a real highlight of this vacation rental. The view of Husum’s inland harbor, with its historic sailing ships, colorful facades, and lively promenade, is impressive and creates a special atmosphere at any time of day. The balcony is furnished with a small table and two chairs, ideal for breakfast in the fresh air, a glass of wine in the evening, or simply watching the activity along the waterfront.

The first bedroom is spacious and stylishly furnished. The room is decorated in calm, harmonious colors, and its modern design creates a relaxing atmosphere. The centerpiece is the large box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) with an upholstered headboard, which ensures a restful night’s sleep. A cozy armchair with a footstool invites you to read or relax, while the flat-screen TV on the wall provides entertainment. You also have access to the balcony from the bedroom—ideal for enjoying the fresh harbor air in the morning with the windows open. The second bedroom is also furnished with a comfortable box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) and offers a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. A small armchair and a wardrobe are provided, rounding out the practical amenities.

The bathroom features modern fixtures and is decorated in light, timeless colors. High-quality tiles, textured wall finishes, and black accents on the fixtures and accessories give the room a harmonious and clean look. The spacious shower is equipped with a rain showerhead and an additional handheld showerhead and is elegantly separated from the rest of the area by a glass partition. A towel warmer rounds out the functional amenities. In a separate room—designed to the same high standard—the toilet and sink are located apart from the bathroom.
