A short walk to the most beautiful view of Rockaway Beach: Twin Rocks.

This is a wonderful house perfect for the family getaway. Located in a quiet and freindly neighborhood, just 3 blocks,with easy access, to the beach! Enjoy fishing and crabbing in Garibaldi. Depending on the season you can buy fresh bottom fish, salmon and crabs there too!! The house has 2 bedrooms. The first with a new queen bed, and the second with a full and twin bed. A roll away bed and sofa bed are available if more beds are required. A washer and dryer in the utility room comes in handy if too many clothes get dirty at the beach. The kitchen comes with silverware, chinaware, rice cooker, coffeemaker, microwave, and toaster. The house is recently painted inside and outside. The house comes with a TV, DVD player ,a variety of video movies, and board games in the by closet.
A beautiful deck in the back is perfect for lounging on warm evenings. A charcoal barbecue grill is provided for outdoor grilling. The

Great location. Comfortable clean house with well appointed kitchen. Easy to get the beach. Beautiful boardwalk through cypress wetlands within walking distance.40 minute drive to Canon Beach.

We had a wonderful time staying here over Memorial Day weekend! Besides some minor cleanliness issues, we had a great stay! The location is perfect. Thank you for having us!

I stayed here with my mom and sister for a week. Upon checking in and getting settled we noticed the floors were covered in sand. Not only did we keep our shoes on, we had to sweep/vacuum the floors. The house has a distinct musty smell and needed to keep the windows open for airflow. My mom slept in the master bedroom and she was very comfortable. My sister and I shared the the other room and the beds were not so comfy. The twin bed squeaks something terrible and was very uncomfortable. We did like that the house was walking distance to the beach and centrally located for all we wanted to do. A few improvements for comfort, and better smelling and it would be perfect.

I can't recommend this property. Overall the house is dated and in disrepair. The worst part was the musty smell, we aired the house out the best we could but even after we left the smell clung to all our clothes and I had to wash everything we'd brought. I knew from the pictures the property was dated, and expected that. But the furniture is old and uncomfortable, the sleeper sofa in the living room seems to have broken back supports, all of the bedroom linens are old and fit the beds poorly. Light bulbs are out in nearly every room, the bathroom is desperately in need of patching and painting. When I read back through the guest book on the counter, guest have noted some of these issues for years and it seems the host has neglected to address them. Overall very disappointed. The location is okay, another reviewer said you need to cross a 'highway' to get to the beach and yes you need to cross 101 but it's only 2 lanes and there a flashing cross walk so no concerns there. The beach in this area is beautiful, it would be nice if there were any beach amenities at this property like towels/chairs, etc.

My family loved this cozy house. The walk was shorter than I expected to the beach, although you do have to cross the highway. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was a comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the movie library and Wifi and the short walk to the beach. We would stay there again if in the area.

Family stay

Easy beach and nature preserve access house was just what we needed plenty of space a back patio for bird watching and simple easy check in/out. We spent most of our time out of house but had a ton of movies available. Kitchen allowed us to make breakfasts really easily. Great stay.

A 5 min walk to the beautiful Rockaway beach. Also a 5 min walk to the trailhead for the big tree. A must see!!! The perfect place for us.

Wonderful stay

The property was just as expected from the pictures and description. It was very comfortable and clean and everything we needed was provided. We loved the neighborhood and location was great for beach access and walking to town.

Wonderful stay for Rockaway Beach

We stayed here over the July 4th holiday, and loved the location and property. This is further south than the rest of the town, so if you want to walk to shops, it's a longer hike, but still doable. There's plenty to do and see in the area, and the beach is so close and beautiful. The house was comfortable for the four of us, and we're excited to return someday soon!

Great beach get away

This cottage is just a couple of blocks from the beach. Not crowded, not much else to do. This was great for taking the kids for a beach weekend and collecting all the shells they could carry.

Location Location Location

Great location for exploring the Oregon coast. Easy driving to both north and south locations. Rockaway beach is a 4 minute drive. The house is well equipped and very comfortable.
