Perfect place for a relaxing week away with the family.
Marcus's villa was exactly what we needed from our time on Gili T: spacious, quiet and beautiful. The pool in particular was amazing. Although it is shared it is really nice with plenty of space for other guests and a nice shaded shallow area for little ones. The photos don't quite do it justice and they don't quite make clear the layout. In the
Main house you have one smaller master double bedroom with en-suite downstairs (no pictures). Then in the adjoining block you have the bigger master bedroom joined to a twin by a big bathroom. We didn't really end up using the table tennis or tv rooms because it was quite warm but also because we wanted to be outside.
Having bikes was a huge plus and meant getting around the island much easier. The location is right in the middle of the island meaning you can get to the main beach (where we snorkelled with turtles) and also to sunset beach on the other side.
Helen was very helpful and despite a delayed arrival because of cancelled boats from Bali it was nice to have some supplies in the fridge waiting for us. The staff are very friendly and it is nice to have the house cleaned every day.
Food wise there is a guest house opposite where you can get breakfast delivered from if you don't want to cook or eat out. We alternated between eating out at restaurants and picking up food from the fish market (much cheaper and delicious - c£15 for fresh fish skewers and noodles to feed 5 adults).
Overall we would definitely recommend and would love to come back in the future.
