Only a 12 minute walk to the amazing Tamarindo beach and minutes to town. This two bedroom condo is great value if you want to experience Tamarindo, don't want to pay crazy beach front or high rise prices, but want a place that is clean, quiet and has all that you could ask for.

This condo unit is the end unit in the complex, which means it is the quietest and most private. The entire complex, Los Suenos 2, has only 22 units, and everyone there is friendly, low key and quiet. It is a very well run complex and the ideal place to stay if you want to keep costs down without compromising on the features that matter most- clean, quiet and location. It has two floors, two bedrooms each with air conditioning and their own bathroom with large shower. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms, no air conditioning on main floor.

The main floor has a kitchen, living room, fridge, washer, dryer, WIFI, and the entire condo is nicely decorated. The front patio area, although not huge, is great for sitting out in the morning while the sun streams through the coconut trees. Patio chairs and small dining room table, all new and local made from teak wood, is a great place to hang out, and to serve meals.
In the morning the sun beams straight down on the front patio area where there is a teak table and chairs, and two teak lounge chairs which are a great place to hang out while having a great cup of fresh costa rican coffee, listening to the birds and gentle breeze. This is also a great area to have lunch or supper, lighting a few candles to create the perfect ambiance.
The pool is only steps away, or if you like, head to the beach within minutes and enjoy one of the nicest beaches in all of Costa Rica. Not to mention the great restaurants and shopping.
Tamarindo has it all. Laid back, relaxed, and if you want to go zip lining or river rafting, everything is near by.
The locals are always friendly and eager to please. You won't find a more genuine and happy people. It's part of what makes Costa Rica special.
The surfing or boogie boarding is amazing too! Everyday we like to walk on the beach at sunset and take it all in. There's nothing quite like it.

Tamerindo

This condo is in a very nice group of several units, I would give it a 5 star rating if there was only a comfortable chair to relax in, small wodden chairs on the deck and the bench seat in living room with pillows just simply could be replaced with some better furniture, it really doesn't work for 4 people After 4 days we left 7 days early because of it, and moved on, other than that the bedrooms were comfortable which is where we hung out and could be improved

Well mantain and in excellent shape the ground crew new there job's well and keep the place clean

We stayed a month and really lucked out in finding this place for are home base. This was are first time in Costa Rica and believe me one month was too short. We enjoyed the condo for it's locaition and cleanliness we will most definitely return.

Nice condo in a quiet location in Tamarindo

We had a great week in Tamarindo. The condo was exactly as shown on the picture and as described. The property (Los Suenos II) is also very nice, quiet and well maintained. It actually looks even better than the pictures! It is a 5-minutes walk to the closest restaurants/bars, 10-minutes to the main street and the closest grocery store and 15-minutes to the beach. We travelled with our 3 and 5 year old and brought a large double stroller which was the best way to travel from the condo to the beach and carry all of our stuff on the rocky, uneven roads. The onsite management team was not the best we have seen. We received arrival information from the property manager, Rosa, but she was not there when we arrived. It took us a few minutes to figure out who was the security guard on site who was supposed to have the keys. She never tried to make contact with us while we were there. Her husband, the groundskeeper, tried to have an air conditioning unit installed at the house on our second-last day while the kids were napping. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen (no microwave or oven, but we did not need those). There was none of the basics (salt, sugar, dish soap, laudry soap, garbage bags, etc), so make sure you bring them or buy them when you get there. They had towels (5) for showers, but you need to bring your own beach towels. Tamarindo has a very nice beach. Perfect for kids. It also has lots and lots of delicious restaurants. All the ones we tried were great!

Wonderful home away from home

We stayed at this condo for a month and it was perfect for us (a couple). The kitchen had all facilities to cook meals in, there is plenty of seating and living space. The bedrooms have air conditioning which was very much appreciated on hot nights. Everything - beds, bedding, kitchen utensil etc were all in good condition and clean. There's a pool which was great for when we wanted to just lounge around instead of leaving to go to the beach. The internet was 10mbs down, 1mb up - fast enough for video calls that I had to do a couple of times while there and reliable. Be aware that in the rainy season there are storms and this can make the power go out in the whole of Tamarindo, this only happened a handful of times we were there and most of the time came back within a few minutes (only once did it go out for an hour). The condo is a 10 minute walk from the main shops and beach which we did walk down to most days, if we were too lazy or hot we caught a taxi back for 1000-2000 colones (2-4 USD). There are some mini-supermarkets in the town center that had most of things we needed, we did only one big shop at the Automercado which is a bit further away but taking a taxi there and back was easy. The place is really nice and quiet a definite advantage of being away from the main area. There is a gym just around the corner which we joined for the month for pretty cheap. We did a lot of tours which we organised from the tour places in town, they are all happy to do pick ups from the condo. The property manager was very responsive for any questions we had and quick to resolve the internet not working when we first arrived - on a Saturday evening. Overall it was a lovely stay, can't wait to come back!

Cozy and Clean

No lie, the home is definitely peaceful and quiet. My son and I stayed here and had great rest during our visit! The home is located a bit outside the clubs and restaurants of Tamarindo, but it's an easy walk of no more than 5 minutes to get into town. Home is very nicely decorated and has all the accommodations needed for a comfortable stay. No clothes drier, but hanging clothes on line in morning provided dry clothes by the time we returned in afternoon. The staff that supports the facility are excellent! We had a minor water leak issue and Andy was super responsive! I wish I saw him my last day so I could thank him again! Owner is very responsive as well, provided great information about sights to see in the area during our visit. We would love to use the same home for a future visit! Highly recommend for families that appreciate a peaceful visit without all the party noise.
