EXCITING TO SERENE

At Blue Mountain Retreat, our goal is to create an environment where people of all ages are happy to stay, play, and enjoy each other's company.

Inside is comfortable and spacious. At 6500 sq. ft. we accommodate up to 24 people. Specially designed, our 3 interactive playrooms are each on a different level, connected with secret passages and slides. Our playrooms are purposely separated from our Large country kitchen and 3 living areas. Enjoy wonderful meals, relax, visit, play board games or find a quiet corner and read a book.



CREATIVE PLAY

Whether you're a kid of 2 or 92 come create and explore. With the luscious surrounding forests, open fields, large playroom, soft block room and LEGO room, imaginations are unleashed for hours and hours. We offer one guarantee, kids will ask to come back again and again. Activities guests love: INDOORS - Foosball, Ping Pong, Indoor Pickle Ball, 2 Floor to Floor Slides, Secret Passages, Hundreds of Soft Blocks, 4 Kid Trikes, Dodgeball, Lego Room with Lego Playhouse, Table Games, Puzzles. OUTDOORS - 40 Acres of Privacy, Volleyball, 2-Corn Hole, Kid Zip Line, Kickball, Country Basketball, Hot Tub, Soccer, Forts in the Forest. Hike the ravine trails to find our labyrinth.



We do allow events up to 50 people with an additional $3000.00 event fee, if planning an event contact host prior to booking to set up a site visit.

Blue Mt. Resort is fantastic! Its beautiful property and home has endless amenities to enjoy! This home is the most well equipped I've seen and the hosts are so accommodating! We had a wonderfully relaxing time!!

We brought a group of friends. Parents and kids (3 yrs to 15 yrs). Everyone had a full blast at this property. It truly allows for both chaos and calm at the same time. Lots of on site activities but also close to Port Townsend and Finn River for day trips. Highly recommend. A great summer getaway from Seattle.

Wonder, spacious, clean, family-friendly, and fabulous features and layout for kids. We had a week long family reunion with 24, including 11 grandchildren, ages 6-16. Plenty of fun things for them all to do and keep busy. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and secluded, yet there are many things to see and do within 20-60 minutes away. David and Patti are great and very responsive hosts. They take great care of their place. We had a fantastic stay and would come again. I recommend this place. Andrew

All of the rooms were very clean and roomy. The kitchen is huge and awesome for preparing meals for big groups. There is a ton of seating areas so families can have their own spaces if needed. David was always quick to answer questions and super accommodating. This is the perfect spot for multiple family or friends to gather. Even work retreats. I will say that the pictures do not do this Vrbo justice. It is much roomier than it looks and the grounds are impeccable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

A truly unique place for families. In addition to the endless activities for kids, the hosts do an exceptional job stocking the entire house. We had a big group and definitely had everything we needed and more.

We loved the property! The view is s amazing. The yard is fabulous with a beautiful little hike/walk to a meditation zen garden that is spectacular. Zip line, fire pit, hot tub, ping pong, Pickleball - you will never want to leave. I was concerned it was a little drive to port Townsend or the national park but it really wasn’t a big deal at all. Our grandkids loved the slides and playrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked. I just could go on and on about how great this home was. We were so very comfortable we wanted to stay another week or two!!! We enjoyed all the house had to offer plus the beauty of the surroundings. So lucky we found blue mountain retreat!

Everything was wonderful at this place!We loved the organization of the kitchen, the separate living rooms for quiet times as well as rowdy places. We came with 14 adults and six children and everyone rested well and had space. The garage room downstairs was amazing with the drift bikes. So much fun! Dave was attentive and present whenever we needed. Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful home and property for a family vacation. Great place for children of all ages as our grandchildren from 6 months to 19 years enjoyed the various playrooms and activities. The older ones particularly enjoyed the zip line.

This is my family's 5th time renting this house. The activities we do change every year as our kids get older, but we always have an amazing time. Highlights from this year were pickleball games, building block walls to break down while racing, and playing dodge ball on the bikes in the garage.

Great family gathering place!

We had such an enjoyable stay! There is something for everyone and the kids played for hours each day in the variety of play spaces. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more, and so organized. Very high marks for this property!

Awesome cabin

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this cabin. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, making meals a breeze, and the fun tunnels on the property were a unique highlight. With nature and trails everywhere right outside the door, it was an ideal spot for both relaxation and outdoor adventure.

Perfect for a large group with kids!

We've stayed here twice now with a big group of friends, including 10 kids between ages 5-12. The kids have a blast in all the play rooms and tunnels, while the parents enjoy lounging in the comfortable living rooms. Love that the kitchen is well setup for feeding a large group.

Dave and Patti's Blue Mountain Retreat exceeded our expectations at every turn of the secret passages. More on that to come.... The huge house was immaculate in every way. Each room was spotless. The eight bedrooms had comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, lots of snuggly throw blankets. How, you wonder, do you fit eight bedrooms into a house? This house pulled it off with style. Some of the rooms are connected by imaginative secret, illuminated, tunnels. The children, mostly, enjoyed these for hours on end, although one adult was known to travel from floor to floor by crawling and sliding--just as if he were 10 years old himself.More on the fun our grandchildren experienced: a room dedicated to build-your-own play structure out of foam blocks, another room dedicated to Legos of all sizes, a garage converted to a recreation room equipped with balls, trikes and other toys. When the kids are having fun, the adults are glad and relaxing, too!The adults could relax in Living Room One, with a piano, or Living Room Two, with a game table and closet full of games, or Living Room Three downstairs with a modular lounging sofa and direct access to outdoors.This was the perfect place for extended family to regroup, share meals on the two dining tables indoors or two dining tables outdoors. Even the grownups loved the outdoor amenities, including a disc golf course, a serene labyrinth (reached by a steep downhill trek, but well worth the effort), a relaxing swing. And there's a zipl

Gorgeous Home and so fun for Families!

The setting is idyllic. The home has such fun secret hideouts and a play space for kids. Really functional kitchen and good seating areas. Owners were always really helpful!

A delightful home!

Our family of 10 adults and 7 children had a delightful experience at the Blue Mountain Retreat. The house was wonderful for kids and adults alike. The property is beautiful and has convenient access to the surrounding area. Highly recommended!!

Terrific!

While the house is definitely set up for larger groups, our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our stay! Easy check in, good communication, and everything was exactly as described. Home provided all we needed for a great trip in a beautiful setting!

Located on 40 secluded acres. Trees, open field, a beautiful valley view and a ravine to explore. We bought this land in 1992 because it was on the end of a road with a ravine on one side and a beautiful valley view on the other . We love the privacy and park like setting. Our country home is 6500 sq.ft. of kid fun and adult relaxation. We are excited to share our home and look forward to all the memories created here as we come back with our family. With 3 sitting rooms and 3 interactive play rooms we offer both quiet and hours of exploration and creative fun for kids and adults. Come and unleash your kids imagination. Our meditation garden & labyrinth, accessed through the ravine trail have added to the serene quality of the property.
