Lovely rural retreat. The hosts couldn’t be nicer. They are there if you need them and you won’t notice them otherwise. Lovely pool with solar heating, which we were in every day, A car is necessary if you want to visit anywhere. The countryside is beautiful and the medieval towns and castles are a great visit. There are plenty of walks if you’re the active type, and if you want to relax you can sit in the garden or by the pool.If you’re fortunate with the weather the sunsets are amazing.

Beautiful location and a comfortable, well-equipped cottage. We wanted peace and quiet, and found it - we also found fabulous unexpected wildlife (owls, hares, assorted birds of prey). Lynne was great: friendly, down to earth, quick to respond - and she had put together a really good guide to the property, the town and the region. We had an excellent stay and recommend it with pleasure.

Just what we needed

Lovely house, views, stunning countryside. Kitchen has plenty of utensils, lovely pool. We hope to go back!

Wow! What can we say? This place really is idyllic. Such a beautiful location and the gîte itself is just perfect, with a stunning view and the feeling of complete privacy. Lynne and Gary were fab and couldn’t have been more attentive, whilst simultaneously leaving us to enjoy our holiday without interruption. We could not recommend this property enough and very much look forward to returning.

A Great Holiday at Le Petit Coin

This was an excellent holiday. The facilities were good and the location was perfect. A very quiet spot in the country but close enough to all local places of interest. The gite has a lovely patio where we spent 13 breakfasts and 14 dinners - it rained on the last morning! - and the swimming pool was a great benefit. Lynne and Gary responded to any problems quickly but otherwise left us to our own devices. Would certainly recommend this gite,

Lovely rural gite in beautiful countryside but easy reach to attractions

We spent a month at this delightful gite and had a few friends visit during the stay. The gite is in a beautiful rural location, yet centrally located to many wonderful medieval towns, villages and super walking tracks. The hosts Lynne and Gary were extremely helpful and were always available to answer any queries yet kept their distance otherwise. As the gite is not walking distance to any restaurants etc we tended to eat out at lunchtimes and cooked at the gite in the evenings which was well equiped. And of course the private use of a lovely pool was a big bonus. I would point out that as the bedrooms and bathrooms are on upper levels it may not suit everyone especially if you're unsteady on your feet. And be prepared for occasional farmyard smells and some flies as this is all part of a true country experience. Overall we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you

Maison en pleine campagne avec une très belle piscine. Propriétaire très discret. Peut être qu'il faudrait investir dans une climatisation surtout pour la chambre au dernier étage.

Séjour à La Fage (Aveyron)

Un lieu vraiment exceptionnel pour décompresser L'accueil de Lynne et Garry au top !!! Gite très confortable et correspondant parfaitement à l'annonce Les enfants et nous même avons profité de la piscine très bien entretenue et chauffée Que de bons souvenirs: balades nombreuses dans les villages typiques des environs Conseils précieux des propriétaires pour les animations aux alentours Nous reviendront dès que possible

Chouette emplacement pour découvrir l’Aveyron

Emplacement parfait pour se ressourcer en pleine campagne (avec les visites de chouettes chevêches à quelques mètres de la maison) loin de la trépidation de la ville et découvrir cette magnifique région Aveyronnaise. Hébergement bien équipé et piscine chauffée à l’énergie soleil parfaits pour recharger les batteries après la découverte des villages et musées environnants. Hôtes charmants et attentionnés. Nous reviendrons!

Un gîte très bien aménagé avec un grand terrain, une piscine. De jolis villages à visiter à proximité et des ballades à faire à pied depuis le gîte. Et des propriétaires accueillants. Les enfants se sont bien amusés et les grands aussi.

Fantastisch verblijf!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in La Fage, een prachtig huis met alle voorzieningen die je maar nodig hebt en een heel gastvrije eigenaar en eigenares, Gary en Lynne. Ze deden er alles aan om het ons naar de zin te maken. De omgeving is prachtig voor lange wandelingen en voor het bekijken van allerlei historische bezienswaardigheden, leuke plaatsjes en wat grotere plaatsen. En je hebt een heerlijk grote tuin en een terras voor jezelf! Plus nog een zwembad voor beide huisjes samen. Fantastisch!

Durch den gegenüberliegenden Hühnerstall gibt es eine andauernde Fliegenplage. Die nebenan wohnenden Eigentümer öffnen den Poolzugang sehr selten.

Excellent the property was gorgeous had everything that you could want and views to die for parking was good and the pool was excellent it was so peaceful totally chilled out didn't want to leave

pure Erholung

Wir haben ein tolles Haus in einer traumhaften Umgebung vorgefunden. Die drei Wochen, die wir bei Lynne und Gary verbracht haben, waren totale Entspannung. Wir hatten teilweise bis zu 38 Grad am Tag, aber der Pool und das schöne kühle alte Steinhaus haben die Hitze erträglich gemacht. Von dem Salzwasserpool waren wir positiv überrascht, da unsere Augen nie brannten, wie bei einem Chlor Pool. Lynne und Gary sind sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber, die immer Tips für uns hatten und uns mit einer Überraschung aus ihrem Garten erfreuten. Das WLAN im und um das Haus war immer vorhanden. Ein kleines Manko für mich (1,93m) war das Bett. Wir würden das Haus jedem Frankreichurlauber immer weiter empfehlen. Schade, dass 3 Wochen so schnell vorbei sind!

Lovely gite in stunning French countryside

If you are looking for a place to relax and really get away from it all, then this is the place for you. Located in the beautiful French countryside, about 4km from the small town of Rignac, this gite has been tastefully decorated & has a well equipped kitchen, two modern bathrooms with showers, & a private swimming pool. The owners, Lynne & Gary, were very welcoming & provided a welcome pack of local information & things to do in English & French. Should you wish to venture further than the pool, the gite is located in an area of outstandingly beautiful villages including Conques, St Antonin de Nobel Val & Estaing. An hour & half drive away is the Gorges du Tarn, Millau Viaduct, & historic town of Albi. The area is good for walking & cycling, with some challenging hills! The two wooden chairs in the garden provided the perfect way to end the day; watching the sun go down with a glass of Gaillac wine. Highly recommended & a shame we were only there for a week.

Le paradis en campagne

Experience formidabele dans une gite superbe et luxe avec des hotes assistents et discrets. La region et la location sont tres jolies et extremement calmes, mais on ne se sent jamais a la fin du monde. A quelques kilometres il y a le village avec la boulangerie, la boucherie, le supermarche et le bar...

calme et tranquillité

un accueil très sympathique , le gite tel que décrit dans l'annonce, une région pleine de surprises et de sites touristiques. le petit moins , la semaine a été fraiche et le gite est difficile a chauffer .

Perfect holiday in La Fage

We had a fantastic stay in La Fage. Sunny, quiet, lots to see and to do. We used the pool almost every day. Lynne and Gary Harding were the perfect hosts.

Un petit coin de paradis

Le gîte se situe dans un très bel environnement. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. La piscine est très bien entretenue par les propriétaires. Une très bonne adresse, à retenir.

Excellent séjour

Accueil chaleureux , superbe maison très confortable rénovée avec gout, belle piscine chauffée , vue magnifique, emplacement idéal pour se reposer au calme et faire de très belles balades dans les plus beaux villages de France. Excellent séjour !
