This is a great area for watching a hot game of horseshoes or corn hole played on the beach. Weather permitting we provide six chaise lounges to relax on while you read or watch the kids play. Our dock has room for you to have two boats or one boat and two jet skis when the dock is floating. Water level does go down in the fall making the dock unusable. The water level starts coming back up in April and dock is normally floating in May. Depending on lake level, the beach may be underwater in early summer. All of this is dependent on rain and snowfall over the winter. PG&E owns the lake. It is a power-generating lake and they regulate the water levels throughout the year.. California Highway Patrol may require chains and/or 4 wheel drive with snow tires during winter and spring months. Please prepare accordingly.
This home is located just 19 miles from the southern entrance (Highway 41) into Yosemite National Park.
Three security cameras have been installed in outside areas. Camera #1 is above the garage to see any cars or people approaching the property from the street. #2 is to see people going down the steps to the entry door. This area is not very visible from the street. #3 camera looks out at the lake & dock to see any boats or people approaching the property that do not belong here. The property is on a narrow and quiet street of three homes and strangers can wander around peaking in windows if they think the property is vacant. There are no interior cameras.
There is no access to the garage on this property. There is room to store a couple of bicycles on the deck or in the shop/laundry area. We are associated with a local Christian camp that keep a couple of ski boats on our dock during the summer. Drivers will come twice a day to pick up and return the boats on Monday through Friday. We have had this relationship for over 30 years and none of our guests have had an issue with this arrangement or the camp staff.
