This is a spacious, comfortable property with everything you might need available on site. It is close to town with many shops and close to the mountain and all of those activities. We enjoyed a wonderful family weekend of hiking, exploring the swimming holes, going into town. We also just relaxed at the chalet along with our teen son and 20 something’s and their significant others. We all loved the space and would be happy to stay here again.

Great Stay

This was our second time staying at the Bear Chalet and we absolutely loved it. So much space for multiple families and very kid friendly!

Place was great, and well kept. Kitchen was fully stocked and we had a great time. Bob provides very detailed instructions.

We had an amazing time during our trip. The house had everything we needed and was a perfect fit for our two families. We definitely plan to be back in the future.

We had a great time. House was very comfortable for 2 large families. It was well furnished and stocked, including thoughtful little touches like a stocked coffee bar. The proximity to town and the mountain was very convenient. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire trip.

Great place to stay!

We had a great time staying at the chalet, we had plenty of room and had everything we needed in the kitchen, the hot tub was also great. Bob is a great host and checked in with us several times. Thank you!!

Lots of space and view of the mountain

The property is very spacious and the sleeping arrangements are great. The wood stove heats the main room very well and the view of the mountain is really nice to have!

Amazing!

I stayed at the house for NYE weekend with a few other couples and we had the absolute best time! The house was amazing, the view of the mountain was incredible and overall we just loved the place! The drive to Okemo mountain and into town was one quick road away too! Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation away!

Great Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful stay here for a January ski trip. Chalet has everything you need (stocked kitchen, plenty of fridge space, big areas to enjoy company, areas to entertain children). The wood stove and hot tub were perfect after a long day of skiing. I can't say enough good things about the owners. Bob was extremely responsive leading up to and during our stay. We look forward to staying here again!

Can't wait to return

Wonderful spacious property with all the coziness of home tucked up into the mountain. Only 7 minutes from town amenities, coffee, gas, groceries etc. Perfect set up for our group to gather for games and meals etc. Host is very kind and replies quickly.

Super comfy & big home

Very spacious house for a big family. Great place to make wonderful memories. Great location for privacy and right next to the mountain. Awesome communication with Bob! Definitely going back in the future.

Christmas Family Vacation

Absolutely perfect! Clean, beautiful house with well stocked kitchen, cozy wood stove, comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and pillows, and amazing hot tub. Bob was readily available and helpful. Driveway was even plowed after snow! Can’t wait to stay again!!!

Mini getaway with Familt

Amazing property/host. Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable and anything you might need for cooking/baking available. many games to keep you busy while at the property. The area is beautiful with plenty of sightseeing, hiking, restaurants and shopping! The just north as amazing and communicated before during and after!

Perfect getaway

The property location was perfect. Towards the top of a mountain afforded spectacular sunsets and cool nights. The communication between us and the property owner was great. They were quick to answer questions and extremely thorough with their responses. I would highly highly recommend this property

Homey Spacious Stay

We love everything about this property! It’s a great location and comes fully equipped with everything you could think of. Communication with the owner is exceptional and extremely timely and detailed. He goes above and beyond every single time. We can’t wait to come back!

Yearly VT family trip

House was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed it. Host was very helpful and communicated very well. We're going to book our return next year, only issue was hot water ran out quickly affecting kids evening showers.

Amazing!!

Beautiful spacious home, lots of wooded land to explore, hot tub and wood stove to warm up afterwards, plus Bob is amazingly organized and helpful - the whole experience was above and beyond our expectations! Great for our kids (ages 8 and 4) and I would imagine for kids of any age.
