We rented this place specifically for the pier and it did not disappoint! The view was amazing and there was plenty of room for our crew! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The camp / rental was very nice. The location on the bay with the pier make it a great spot. The camp is clean and well maintained. The interior is very comfortable with nice furnishings and appliances. One opportunity for improvement is the condition of the outdoor cooking equipment; the grill was deteriorated to the extent that it could not be used and the boiling pots for crabs and shrimp can also be improved.

The house specifically the kitchen and bathrooms could’ve been cleaned better. The yard was in terrible shape with trash thrown all over and looked like the grass had never been cut.

Gorgeous sunset view! Fishing pier was well lit. The location was amazing!! Plenty of beds for guest. The bunk room is pretty snug, 1 of the masters was decorated nice but the other master could use some new bedspreads. They were thin and stained. The kitchen had all appliances. The coffee maker was very small. We did not see any boiling pots and the grill is not useable. The floors were not swept when we arrived but everything looked good. The outside vegetation was overgrown and needs a good trimming. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the sunset will bring me back!

SUPER NICE! Less of a camp and more of a nice home. Two of the bedrooms have "on suite bathrooms" which our group really loved! Some in our group spent the entire time on the pier fishing and enjoying the dolphins. We also rented a side by side which made the beach trips super easy. This Host was very responsive. You will not go wrong renting this place. I have been coming to GI for 40 years and this was one of the best camps and experiences!

The camp was very nice. Great kitchen, open family room, and porch with a spectacular Bay view. Fishing off the pier was a fantastic experience.

Great Place with Lots of Space

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Grand Smile on the Grand Isle. The views from the large porch were fantastic and the beach was just a quick walk away.

Great time as always

This is the third time we stay at Grand Smile and had at a wonderful time . The new pier with lights was a great bonus to our stay.

Property was great. All amenities needed were there. It could use a little exterior TLC as far as hand railings on stairs and railing around porch. It seemed a little unstable but all in all, I would definitely recommend.

gulf fishing trip

this was our 8th year of fishing in the gulf and the 2nd time we stayed at Don's. we will stay here from now on as long as it's available for our dates.

Perfect getaway

Wonderful experience for kids and adults. Dolphins swam by every day and had close encounters woth them in the ocean. Jelly fish, hermit crab hunting, fresh sea food near by. Only down side was the mosquitoes were pretty bad

Overall I was pleased with the property. The house was very clean. I wish the steps to the pier had rails. It would be nice if debris was removed from property around the house.
