The Casita may be my favorite home.
1 bedroom, 1 bath...a perfect hide away. You wake, stretch and look out your windows at the spectacular views of water and nature. After a leisurely morning, you just have to try the outdoor shower with enough room for two. From The Casita, you may see a pod of dolphins playing near the dock.
As the day continues, you may choose to boat over to St. Catherine's or Ossobaw Island and relax on the beach with a picnic lunch. By mid-afternoon, you head back to The Casita and the spacious outdoor kitchen now comes into play. You fire up the grill and prepare an evening meal (that somehow tastes better than any meal you've ever prepared), or you may choose to have your meal prepared for you! Your Hostess offers menu options, information upon booking. And of course, there is always the option of dining out at a local seafood restaurant.
This beautiful hideaway is close to I-95 but FAR from everything. Don't worry about leaving your pet. Pets are welcome!! Bring Your boat, dock it, then use our fish cleaning station to clean your daily catch! Local fishing and Beaching charters are also available.

A perfect place for Lowcountry love. Breathtaking views. A cozy cottage. Perfectly appointed and immaculately clean. And then there's the host, Cookie, who's amazing! As a getaway for one or a romantic retreat, the Casita is amazing. A unique destination you'll cherish forever.

A great relaxing stay with the best views out there.One of the best parts was having our boat right next door to the Casita.Equally impressive was having the Dolphins turn up every day at least twice a day.Perfect place thats all i can say.Thank you Cookie.

My husband and I just had the most wonderful, relaxing vacation here! The house was very clean and cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. The host, Cookie, was so very kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything to make it a perfect stay. The views from all around the house are stunning! This is truly a special place and we look forward to visiting again very soon!

Beautiful property, very peaceful, great place to unwind, and take time to appreciate the view of the water, birds and sunset. My husband and I enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen. It had what we needed to prepare meals. The Casita was perfect size for us 2. Location is off the beaten path but still close enough for day trips like Savannah ,Jekyll Island, and historic Forts. The host Cookie was so sweet and helpful in everyway! It was nice to have a chance to meet her!

Excellent host. Beautiful cottage and scenery. Had everything we needed. Fishing was great!!

What a wonderful experience. Cookie is the consummate host and property owner. This immaculate property is out of the way, and your own little piece of heaven while you are there. She has a deep water dock on the property. We rented a boat for the week and enjoyed exploring St. Catherine's Sound and the surrounding waterways. Crabbing off the dock, fishing, hot-tub, bonfires....what a relaxing time. Imagine dolphins playing in the water 15 yards away while you sit in the hot-tub enjoying a cool gin & tonic. If you're a bigger group....rent the house and the casita and enjoy family time in the wonderful fully equipped outdoor kitchen. We'll be back....100%. Thank you for a wonderful week cookie.

This place has everything you need and more. The kitchen is outside, with two grills. Perfect for large gatherings, because you can rent both places the small cottage and the three bedroom house. Cookie, the host, she makes the place special and charming. She is one phone call away if you need anything.

Very beautiful and relaxing location. Experienced the most beautiful sunsets. Everything was cleaned and well maintained. The host was easy to communicate with and easy to contact. I am ready to plan my next trip back.

Beautiful and Peaceful
Quiet and off the beaten path, it was the perfect place to rest and unwind. The property owner was very accommodating and helpful. It’s a location we will definitely visit again.

A great weekend getaway!
Absolutely loved our stay! It was amazing to wake up to the river every morning. The tide was so fun to watch, and the views were incredible. The outdoor kitchen was a total highlight. Cookie was truly wonderful—so kind and always helpful. This is a must-stay, and we’ll definitely be back. I’m from the area, so it’s great to know we now have a place to book when we return!

Cookie and the property are wonderful 10 Stars !!
We absolutely loved the Casita , caught redfish right from the dock. Cookie was so accommodating and the swinging bed is SO relaxing !! I loved the decor and the outdoor kitchen. Can't wait to come back someday. Highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 getaway. The Casita and property offer peace and tranquility. We came to the area to relax and explore the surrounding towns. The outdoor kitchen and seating are wonderful, set up for anything you may want and the view is bar none. We did experience torrential rain the second and third night and throughout our departure which limited our use of the wonderful outdoor space. Cookie was a pleasure to work with, very kind and accommodating. We highly recommend staying at the Casita if you don't mind being off the beaten path!

Peaceful Easy Feeling!
One of our favorite trips! The accommodations were just lovely. The hostess made sure we had everything we could possibly want and the people we met couldn’t have been nicer! I highly recommend.

Lovely setting!! Great Bed and hot tub!
Cookie made the three (myself, husband and dog) of us feel very welcome and at home . The breakfast food was very tasty. We enjoyed seeing a little of Savannah and getting to know the local area.
