Relaxing with spectacular mountain views

The cottage was comfortable & well-equipped. The view from the terrace was amazing, whatever the weather! We enjoyed the pool on warmer days. We were well looked after by Nicole & Henri and Thane & Annabel were very helpful with arrangements for our stay. The area is very beautiful & the cottage is well-situated for local amenities without being overlooked. We have enjoyed a very relaxing break & would certainly be considering a return visit.

Great holiday week for Dutch family

Very special house; the heated swimming pool lighted by night, stunning views on mountains rising above an english flowering garden during breakfast, lunch, siesta, diner, etc...! Really quiet, nice place to recover and explore surroundings. Large area around to enjoy and inside the house various unexpected smaller quarters to relax. Nice agent and owners Annabel and Thane, communicative and helpful. Simply a must.

A week with the whole familie

The communication was very good and we were quickly installed in our accomodation. The house is big for a family. Some points to improve are the beds , WiFi, and terras outside which have some broken stones which can be dangerous when you go to the pool. Anyway we had ook good stay with a very nice view and friendly neighbours. Ant

Thank you for your feedback and for the positive comments. Turning to your valid and constructive comments, the terrace will be replaced before next season. We have been planning this for a year now. We’re sorry the WiFi was unreliable during your stay - this was due to local workmen accidentally cutting through a cable and has been fixed by Orange. Thank you for the feedback about beds - we asked you for further information about this which you provided and we will be replacing some of our beds and mattresses which we accept are not as new as they could be.

A little slice of French paradise

We absolutely loved our stay in Ogeu les Bains. The house was perfect: comfortable, well equipped and felt like home. There was ample space for everyone but well planned social spaces made it feel natural to come together. The pool was fabulous and the care taken with the gardens allowed for privacy and beauty in the surroundings; a picturesque frame for the stunning Pyrannean backdrop.The boulangerie and shop were just right for all our needs and the village is well positioned for exploring the region.Thane and Annabel have created a little slice of French paradise. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison. Elle est très très bien équipée, tout était parfait! Et quelle vue magnifique ! La piscine chauffée face aux montagnes était très apprciéable. Quel plaisir de se retrouver au calme avec des habitants très chaleureux à Ogeu!Nous avons profité de toutes les activités autour d'Ogeu (randonnées, canonying, train d'artouste, col d'Aubisque et de Marie Blanque à vélo pour les plus sportifs!) et dégusté d'excellents fromages et de très bons gâteaux de la boulangerie locale.Tout était parfait, merci à Nicole et Henri pour leur accueil chaleureux.

Maison conviviale

Séjour parfait! La maison se situe non loin des Pyrénées dont nous avions une très belle vue depuis la terrasse. La maison dispose de tout ce qui est nécessaire afin de passer un bon moment entre amis. La communication avec les propriétaires est très fluide. Je recommande vivement.

Mooi ruim huis met mooi uitzicht

We hadden een prima verblijf. Meestal doen foto's een mooiere weergave van de werkelijkheid; hier is het juist andersom. De werkelijkheid is juist mooier (met name het zwembad) dan de foto's. Het is ook erg handig dat zowel de bakker als de supermarkt heel dichtbij zitten. Wel leek het huis wat haastig schoongemaakt. Filterzak van de koffie zat nog in het apparaat en bij bbq zat het as er nog in maar zelfs de het rooster was heel vies.

‘House with a view’!

Een echt prachtig huis met een geweldig uitzicht ligt aan het einde van een rustige straat aan de rand van een klein dorpje. Het huis was een week het gezamenlijk onderkomen van 2 gezinnen. Het grote huis is daarvoor meer dan volledig uitgerust. De veranda, het heerlijke zwembad, de meerdere tuinen en buitenruimtes waren voor ons 8-en meer dan voldoende. In het dorp is een bakker en kleine supermarkt. De nabije omgeving biedt tal van mogelijkheden voor te wandelen, fietsen, een bezoek aan de vrijdagmarkt in Oloron (15 minuten) is een aanrader. Het contact met de eigenaars is zeer prettig. De gastvrije ontvangst werd gedaan door de naaste buren en zij zijn (in het Frans) goed bereikbaar en erg behulpzaam. We hebben genoten! Kortom een aanrader!

On se sent comme chez soi ... mais avec une vue magnifique !

On sest directement sentie chez-soi dans cette maison. Elle est pratique, bien agencée et avec tout le nécessaire. La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine !

Stunning Location

A wonderful place to have a holiday - waking up every morning to the view of the mountains was like living in a dream. Property was all we could ask for, and the pool was a bonus. Very much a family home, and would highly recommend it. Very easy to communicate with the owners, and their local caretakers were extremely helpful. Driving on some of the mountain roads is a bit hair raising to say the least, but so worth it! Pau is also worth a visit, if only for the vista of the Pyrenees from the southern ramparts.

Leven als god in Frankrijk

Fijn verblijf... Vlot contact met de eigenaar en contactpersoon. Het huisje is zeker ruim en heeft een rustige ligging. Ruime keuken en kamers... De basis voor een goed verblijf is aanwezig. Genoten van het zwembad. Voor een echte bergwandeling is het wel eventjes rijden. Bedankt voor de vakantie.

Aangename en rustige vakantie

Het huis is ruim en aangenaam met een heerlijk zicht op de Pyreneeën. Het zwembad is verwarmd zodat het ook kan gebruikt worden als het weer iets minder is. De omgeving is heel rustig. In het kleine warenhuis "Utile" in het dorp is genoeg te vinden voor de dagelijkse behoeften. Om op restaurant te gaan moet je echter de wagen nemen en een tiental km rijden. De omgeving biedt zowel cultuur als natuur. Ondanks het mindere weer, hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Ontdek de Pyreneeën per motor

Dit pand (met verwarmd zwembad) is gelegen op een steenworp van zeer mooie wandel en fietswegen doorheen de Pyreneeën. Wij hebben vooral zeer mooie uitstappen met de motor gedaan. Een aanrader!

Perfect house for a family gathering

Fantastic views of the Pyrennees with easy access to beautiful hiking spots and ski slopes in Gourette for the younger crowd. The house is cosy and well equipped, with access to bikes for local shopping in the village centre. Thane and Nicole are super hosts, with perfect communication. We very much enjoyed the welcome pack with local cheese, wine and fruits ! Thanks for the stay and the amazing sunshine !!

Quelle vue !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Ogeu où nous avons été parfaitement accueilli. La maison est très agréable et spacieuse. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le jardin, la vue depuis la terrasse et la piscine chauffée.
