This is a fabulous property set in a beautiful village against backdrop of forest and fields. The house is extremely comfortable, clean and well thought-out. It is also equipped with everything that you could possibly need -- great pool, modern kitchen, comfortable beds and sheets, etc etc .. We were a group of 18, all members of one family, and we had a magical week. Highlights included lovely local wines delivered to the door and the amazing massages and sound baths of Fleur, who lives next to the property and has wonderful hands and energy. I would also say communication with the owner Cecile was easy and fluid. We would love to come back.

This was a great property. We loved the pool and all the outdoor space. Some have complained about the nearby church bells but they are just a part of the French experience. We had a little trouble with the check-in process as the person did not speak English and my French isnt the best but eith Google translate we did just fine.

Wonderful family holiday

The property was perfect for our family holiday of 10 adults and 4 children over 3 generations. The pool was a firm favourite, and in beautiful surroundings. We were helped to organise a chef on several evenings, Aurelie was fantastic! The spa area was very relaxing and immaculate, too. It was very hot while we were there so fans were provided on request. The nearby church clock chimed throughout day and night which took some adjusting to, too! Overall it was a perfect family holiday and we’d love to come again - thank you.

Nous avons passé 1 senaine au domaine avec 4 familles (16 personnes). L‘endroit est magnifique et décoré avec énormément de goût et l‘acceuil était excellent. La grande piscine, les plats préparés par la cuisinère et les massages au spa du domaine ont grandement contribué à notre bonheur. Nous recommandons l’endroit er reviendrons!

La Trémellerie est particulièrement bien aménagée et très pratique dans son fonctionnement. La rénovation a été faite avec beaucoup de goût et le sauna et le jacuzzi ont été très appréciés. L’accueil de Sabrina a été chaleureux et fort sympathique.

Excellent WE dans le domaine plein de charme

Accueil très chaleureux et, on ne peut qu'être très satisfait de notre séjour au Domaine de la Trémellerie. Magnifique propriété pleine de charme où l'on s'y sent très bien. Tout est bien pensé et rationnel . Recommandé en famille ou avec amis et les enfants. Indépendance de chacun qui permet de profiter pleinement de toutes les activités disponibles. Chambres très propres bien conçues avec excellente literie. Cuisine très fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Découverte des alentours intéressante et à faire. Séjour inoubliable pour tous et certainement à refaire

Belle et vaste demeure mais

Belle et vaste demeure mais des cloches très proches qui résonnent dans les chambres toutes les demi-heures, nuits et jours, sans interruption! Pour essayer de dormir, il faut fermer les fenêtres et, en été, souffrir de la chaleur... Malgré le niveau de prestations indiqué, nous avons dû réclamer des serviettes de piscine et des serviettes supplémentaires. Pas de télévision, ni d'écran fonctionnel et un wi-fi déficient. Merci à carole pour son accueil.

Je suis désolée pour les cloches de l'église du villages. Nous avons des doubles vitrages au fenêtres et pouvons aérer et ouvrir les fenêtres côté jardin. De nombreux villages Français ont des églises et des cloches, Ce n'est pas un sujet que nous maîtrisons et hors de notre volonté. Pour les serviettes de piscine manquantes, nous avons fait face à une erreur dans la livraison de la blanchisserie en vous donnant accès à notre linge et toutes les serviettes et paréos complémentaires dont vous aviez besoin. Internet est distribué sans fibre, nous ne sommes pas à Paris, et tout le village subit malheureusement les aléas du réseau. A partir de 2025 nous aurons la fibre dans le village. Concernant la télévision, nous avons été en panne tout l'été sans comprendre pourquoi, et découvrir en septembre que notre fournisseur d'accès Orange ne distribue plus la TV et que nous n'avions pas reçu leur mail d'information envoyé à une ancienne adresse mail. Le problème est maintenant résolu avec un accès à toutes les chaînes distribuées par Canal +.

Superbe propriété

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine dans le domaine, tout est fait pour profiter du soleil, déjeuner en terrasse en grand groupe, se baigner et se prélasser entre amis et en famille au bord de la piscine sécurisée. Merci a la disponibilité de Carole et Cécile durant notre séjour.

Het was een fantastische ervaring. Kan het iedereen aanraden. Drie grote supermarkten op ongeveer 5 kilometer afstand. Enige minpunt is het luiden van de kerkklokken. Deze luidt bij elk uur en halfuur twee keer. Je hebt liever de ramen dicht.

Belle maison et propriété, bien adaptée pour grande famille

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine en famille en profitant des espaces communs qui sont de grandes tailles, de la piscine, des différentes terrasses qui permettent de suivre le soleil ou l’ombre dans la journée. La literie est de très bonne qualité, l’équipement de la cuisine est parfait. Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir de télévision fonctionnelle y compris avec le wifi qui est très aléatoire et inconstant. Il manque aussi des équipements pour les petits. Le village est par ailleurs agréable et nous avons découvert les châteaux des environs avec plaisir.

Bonjour, je vous remercie pour votre avis sur votre séjour. malheureusement pour le WIFI, nous subissons comme tout le village les aléas du réseau non fibré. Nous en sommes désolés. Pour la télévision, nous avons été en panne tout l'été sans comprendre pourquoi. Ce n'est qu'en septembre que nous avons compris que Orange, notre fournisseur d'accès internet et TV, ne délivre plus la TV! Nous n'avions jamais reçu leur mail envoyé à une mauvaise adresse. Afin d'améliorer notre accueil pour nos prochains vacanciers, pourriez vous me dire quels équipements vous auriez aimé trouver pour les petits? Au plaisir de vous lire Bien cordialement

La Tremellerie is uniek.

In een heel mooi deel van Bourgogne ligt dit heerlijke huis midden in het dorp Saint-Privé. Van alle gemakken voorzien, groot zwembad en 5 hectare bos. Wij hebben met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen een fantastische voorjaarsvakantie gehad.

dream vacation

We spent an unforgettable family vacation at the property. Everything about the residence, the grounds, the interior, and the village itself, with its quaint pond and understated Gothic church, exudes a timeless air of history combined with breeding and elegance, but also of supreme leisure and ease. From the imposing cedar against the stone walls and the lush but not manicured lawns to the superbly appointed kitchen, the rich plot of herbs, the tasteful furnishings, the comfortable rooms and communal spaces, the stately fireplace, and the lingering heritage of a fine painter who spent forty years of his life here, everything here conspired to make this a perfect getaway location for a family of 18 at Easter. As a plus, Saint Privé is thankfully off the beaten track, but only a half-hour drive from Sancerre by the Loire, and it even warrants a day trip to the core vineyards of Burgundy – if you are lucky enough to find someone to undertake the driving back home! P.S.: Carole, the housekeeper was also very kind and helpful.

Très belle maison

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Saint Privé, le lieu est magnifique, très agréable et bien décoré. Il est très vaste, chacun dispose de son espace et tout le monde peut se retrouver dans les pièces communes. La cuisine comporte tous les équipements nécessaires à la préparation de grandes tablées. The house was really clean, it looked just renovated so the first impression was really lovely. We had a pleasant stay in the beautiful home perfect for a big group of friends! And we loved the heated pool that was a pleasant surprise!

Urlaubsvergnügen für einen grossen Familienclan (17 Pers.)

Ein grosszügig und mit designer-Hand eingerichtetes Haus, in welchem die Liebe zum Detail der Eigentümer in jedem Raum spürbar ist. Zimmer, Garten- und Poolbereich und insbesondere die Küche sucht seinesgleichen und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr freundliche Hausbetreuerin ( Carole ) , die leider nur französisch spricht . Verständigung war trotzdem möglich ;-) Viele wunderschöne kulturelle und auch kinderfreundliche Möglichkeiten im Umkreis von 40 km

Dream come true

Beautiful chateau in lovely charming village. A huge house with everything in it you need. With a group of 18, 4 families, everyone has its own space and could hang out where they desired, inside or in one of the gardens. Good beds, also the sofa bed sleeps very well. Showers, bathrooms all good. Friendly owner, easy to reach out to and gives you the feeling you are welcome. Also the lady who welcomes you is nice, explains all you need to know and calls the bakery after closing time to order bread for the first day. Enough to see and do in the area. But even a lazy day at the pool is good Yes some heard the church bell banging and some did not. Thank you for our holiday. PS with our sincere apologies, our daughter took with her a TinTin book in her bag. We will send it back.

Grand manoir moderne et raffiné

Très belle demeure sur un très grand parc, dans un village paisible. La maison est très bien équipée, toutes les pièces sont vastes. Nous étions 15 durant notre séjour, et il y avait tout l'espace nécessaire. Il n'y a aucun point négatif à relever, si ce n'est le fait que le chauffage de la piscine ne fonctionnait pas, mais nous l'avons tout de même utilisée malgré les températures.

Supa house in rural area

What a fabulous week we had at this lovely property. There were 16 of us and there was plenty of room. There are two double bedrooms downstairs and three upstairs. Plus another double upstairs with a full size single in it and a fabulous 'bunk' room upstairs with two singles, a double and a bunk bed. Our kids loved being all in there together. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There are numerous pans of all sizes, including huge ones for cooking en masse. Loads of cutlery, plates etc. There are two bbqs outside in addition. The living areas are really spacious too. All in all it was a perfect house for us. The swimming pool is lovely and well fenced, so you don't need to worry about the kids being there without an adult. The boys found a football field a little up the road and there is a lake in the village to walk around. In the village there is also one bakery (we ordered tonnes of croissants and bread for every morning), one small grocery shop, one small bar and an award winning lollypop shop (which is run out of someone's front room). What more do you need! There is a supermarket about 5-10 mins drive away and plenty of towns nearby with markets to discover. We did a vineyard trip, a trip to swim in a local reservoir and trips to local villages. But most of the time we stayed at the house and enjoyed the pool. Be warned, the church directly next to the house chimes loudly every hour. But after the first night, we all got used to it and it wasn't a problem for anyone in our group (which aged from 4-80). The only pain is the large deposit, which you have to pay months in advance - a lot of money to hand over for such a long time. It would be much better to be able to pay this just before visiting. I tried to come to an arrangement with the owner and HomeAway about this but the communication was difficult and in the end I just paid up. Overall, highly recommended and we would definitely return. It would be lovely out of season too. There is a huge fire place in the sitting room.

Heerlijk ruim Chateau

We waren met drie gezinnen met kinderen en hiervoor is het huis perfect. Het huis is er volledig op ingericht met voldoende ruime slaapkamers en bedden. De keuken is een fijne ruimte en van alle kook, bak en braad benodigdheden voorzien. De tuin is super groot. Je kunt zelfs een wandeling maken door het bos achter het chateau. En het zwembad is prachtig aangelegd met mooi uitzicht over het dorp en het dal. Daarnaast loop je zo het trapje af naar de bakker om de hoek voor verse croissants en baguettes. Het Chateau ligt tegenover de kerk en deze slaat 2 keer achter elkaar het uur. Ook om 12 uur 's nachts - dat was de eerste nacht even wennen. Om de hoek van het Chateau is een meer waar je een fijne wandeling kunt maken en met de kinderen kunt spelen. Verder zijn er wat kleine dorpjes in de omgeving waar wij niet aan toe zijn gekomen om te bezoeken. Het huis biedt wel alle informatie hiervoor. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad!
