Family Ski Holiday

We were 2 families staying in the chalet for a ski holiday. It was perfect for what we needed. In a quiet location just outside Le Grand Bornand. We had cars and drove down to the lift every day which worked well. We walked down in to the town one day although the hill back up is quite steep. Highly recommended.

Comfortable chalet

Chalet Vif is close to the town; approximately a 15 minute walk (note that the walk back up is steep). The kitchen was well equipped and the living space was comfortable. We travelled with children and the 4th bedroom with bunk beds was on the garage floor, separate from the other 3 bedrooms which were located on the 2nd floor. We were a group of 5. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

Family Chalet

Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of comfortable seating. Lovely views from the balconies. Could have done with some more pillows for the beds. Short walk to village, quite steep, but fine if you take your time coming up. Village had a lovely atmosphere and there were different activities and nice places to eat. We had a lovely time, lots if walking and didn't need to use the car very much for the almost 2 weeks we were there.

Wonderful stay

We stayed in the chalet for one week. It's on a nice location with good views of the skilifts Rosay and, a bit further, La Joyere. You can see the skislope that is running in to Le Grand-bornand. Skibus runs very close by, although taking the car is also very convenient. The chalet is spacious, with a garage, bedroom and small bathroom on the ground floor ( ideal for our teenagers) and three nice bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. The sunny livingroom/kitchen is well equipped and spacious enough for the seven of us. We enjoyed the chalet very much and...had a little throwback in time when we discovered the "vintage" videotape player...now we were able to show our kids how we used to spend our evenings...pre-Netflix time.. Ian is a very welcoming host, replies very quickly when there's a question. Would def. recommend staying in Chalet Vif in beautiful Le Grand Bornand.

Chalet très confortable et spacieux. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à faire des randonnées dans le massif des Aravis. Le Grand Bornand est une station authentique, comme je les aime avec les chalets en bois, le village à taille humaine. De plus, Ian, le propriétaire, est adorable et très à l'écoute. Très compréhensif et réactif.Je recommande ce chalet sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au chalet Vif. Le chalet est très agréable, bien aménagé avec tout le nécessaire , propre et très bien situé au grand Bornand pour profiter de toutes les activités. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Ian. Un grand merci pour la gentille attention à notre arrivée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

le chalet est absolument parfait, très bien équipé et parfaitement positionné, la vue du chalet est extraordinaire,.l'équipement est tout à fait conforme à la description. L'hôte est très accessible et disponible avec une agreable attention a l'arrivée dans le chalet, très appréciée par nous.

Chalet très agréable et très bien équipé. Nous y avons passé une semaine à 7 personnes en hiver, tout est parfait. L’emplacement est vraiment très appréciable et la vue sur la chaîne des Aravis est magnifique.L’intérieur tout en bois donne un cachet indéniable à ce chalet.Les indications envoyées par Ian le propriétaire sont très claires. L’interaction par messages avec Ian est facile et toujours menée avec sympathie. Bref une adresse à conseiller sans retenue !

Chalet VIF au Grand Bornand

Très joli chalet avec une magnifique vue sur les Aravis.Proche du village, on peut y aller sans problème à pied.Le village est très sympa, proche de la Clusaz et d'Annecy pour les jours un peu moins beau pour skier.Je recommande, il y a vraiment largement tout le nécessaire pour y passer de bonnes vacances.

Magnifique séjour.

Nous avons passé la deuxième semaine de Noël avec un. couple d'amis et leurs enfants dans le chalet de Ian et je le recommande à tout le monde, Ian est très gentil, la procédure d'arrivée est parfaite, tout est présent dans le logement, l'accès au village et au piste est a proximité. Tout y est pour passer de superbe vacances, allez y les yeux fermés. Merci encore à Ian pour son accueil, nous reviendrons si nous le pouvons. Bonne année.
