Perfect location to enjoy all of Positano

We had a wonderful week-long stay in July. The villa is clean and well equipped. Location couldn't be better, as you are right on the main road to walk to restaurants, and have a private stairway down to the main beach.

Beautiful clean place in great location. Right next door to La Sirenuse with private steps towards the beach. Close to coffee shops and little grocer store. Great communication loved our stay

Perfect location and beautiful views

My second time staying at this house, feels like home. The house is lovely, the view of the garden and the location via private access within minutes to the beach. Excellent experience and smooth check in. Another fantastic visit in the heart of Positano.

Great location, very comfortable apartment, kitchen small but functional, sensational balcony views both for breakfast and dinner, ideal for a couple or one or two young children, lots of stairs from the main road down to the apartment, no parking so arranged my own in Sorrento and got a transfer to Positano

Memorable Stay

We had wonderful stay at Casa Leucosia. The villa is beautiful and located perfectly in the heart of Positano. Pietro, the owner and staff were excellent and exceeded our expectations. Clean, near all the best restaurants and beach. Highly recommend. We miss it every day since we returned home.

Anniversary in Positano

Excellent location and the size of balcony and villa were great. Sat on the balcony for hours overlooking the harbor. Has everything you need to get prepared food from the deli and bring it back and heat up later

Post-graduation girls’ trip!

10/10 would recommend this VRBO to anyone visiting Positano! The location was perfect- it was steps away from city center which made it easy for us to take daily trips to the grocery store and shops. Communication with the hosts was excellent! We appreciated the ease of setting up transportation to and from the VRBO. We had an amazing time and we feel so lucky we got to stay at this property. It was truly the best decision! We wanted for nothing except more time spent there!

Gorgeous villa in beautiful Positano!

During our stay in Positano, Italy, we experienced a wonderful time at a beautiful villa located in the heart of the town. The host and property manager were amazing, providing exceptional service and assistance with our needs and any special circumstances that arose. I highly recommend booking this villa for a group of 4 people or a small family. Ciao!

Wonderful place and host

Our family of four loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. Marco was the perfect host and provided lots of wonderful information about the area. He even gave us a ride to the train station at the end of our visit. We see him as a future lifetime friend. Maria was also very helpful and kind. Positano is a dream and so is this place.

Fantastic!

What a great location, great view and amazing place to stay. I am putting it out to my friends who visit Positano to look stay there! The private staircase down to the beach didn't seem like a shortcut the 1st day, but it sure did on the eighth day!..lol. Highly recommend!

This apartment is in a prime location with a beautiful view. Walking distance to main tourist locations. Lay out: you enter directly into the living area; the kitchen and laundry area are in the back, past the living room. From the entrance door, to the right are the stairs to take you to the two bedrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds with a full bathroom. Followed by the second bedroom with a queen bed and its bathroom, all the way back of this second floor, outside the second bedroom. Unfortunately, I have to point out some issues we faced with this booking. If you are going to Positano in the summer and AC is a big deal for you, this apartment has only one wall-mounted AC unit in the living area. A fan is provided for each bedroom, but you will have to leave the doors open to get AC into the rooms. On the third day, a leak at the base with a urine odor from one of the toilets was noted. Contacted the lady in charge of the house (Maria Dolores); there was no response. So I had to contact the host, who later informed me that there was indeed a leak and that the plumber was coming after our departure. This issue should have been taken care of before anyone's arrival. Communication: I do understand that language can be a barrier sometimes, but since you are listing on an international rental app, I strongly recommend that you learn about online communication etiquette (netiquette). Be respectful and dont use ALL CAPS when communicating with your clients.

Lovely villa in Positano

The property was beautiful, with a large deck that was private but overlooking the town. I can't say enough about how beautiful it was. So much more space than a hotel. Check in was easy, Maria Delores was so sweet and knowledgeable about the area. We cooked some of our meals in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was also very easy, and we had no issues. Highly recommend!

May 2024 Positano

The villa was exactly as described. Clean, great help from the manager and beautiful views. It's low enough for a reasonable walk to the port/beach but high enough for easy access to the central town. Positano is a beautiful city with friendly people. You do need some energy as the traveling around requires climbing many stairs or winding up switchback roads. Highly recommended.

Maria, the manager, is a living angel. I had a severe GI episode and called Maria simply to see if she had a preference for a hospital. She said she would call me back. She called around, found a Dr. that would see me after hours and then drove me there. I now call her, “Maria Angelica”! The unit is in the best neighborhood, everything is close and it is very clean.

Amazing View!

This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a great location and a beautiful view. Every morning we would make our coffee and sit on the deck to watch the sea. So relaxing! A small grocery store is nearby to get your food items and great restaurants nearby. Lemon and apricot trees in the backyard. Pietro, Marco and Maria were gracious hosts and very responsive. Casa Leaucosia had everything we needed but I might bring a fan next time as it can get quite warm in late afternoon.

Fantastic Stay in Positano

My wife and I and our two teenage children just returned from a wonderful stay at this home in Positano. The apartment was divided between a living area, small kitchen, and half bath downstairs, and two nice sized bedrooms and full baths up. It was not luxurious, but comfortable and well suited for our family. There was a lovely terrace with chairs and a table overlooking the town and out to sea. The WiFi service was seamless and the location next to Le Sireneuse Hotel could not be beat. A private path with a five minute walk led down to the beach and restaurants. There were banks and small shops within about a five minute walk down the upper street. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and the local representative Maria kindly organized several car trips for us. We look forward to a return visit!

Great Location!!

The property was spotless and comfortable. Our only complaint is that the apartment is listed as 2 bath but only one shower was usable. The shower attached to the twin bedroom flooded the entire bathroom. The property manager said she was aware that it had some problems. We wouldn’t have booked this apartment if we had known about the shower issue .

The apartment is a fantastic option in Positano. The location and views are incredible. It is close enough to the port to be convenient yet just far enough to get away from some of the crowds. We also found that we did not have to climb nearly as many stairs as we expected. There is shopping and small food stores very close. It was very easy to grab some small bites and wine and enjoy the views from the balcony!There were just two of us staying so the place had plenty of room. We used the second bedroom for all our stuff leaving our bedroom clear. Two couples could share though. One room has an attached bath while the other room has a bath just outside. Know that there is a window in one shower which was a little different. We figured out that there wasn’t any views where you would be able see in, but maybe not shower at night. Also keep in mind this is Europe, the showers are small compared to what you find in America. Embrace it. There is a bathroom with a washer. The kitchen is small but functional. We did not cook at all but we could have fixed whatever we wanted. The refrigerator was all we needed. Air conditioner worked well. Shutters on the balcony doors also keep the place cool when you are out. Shout out to Maria and Rosella. They made check in/out easy and were available via WhatsApp. Rosella gave us all kinds of local recommendations and helped arrange reservations and a car service. Thank you ladies!Book this place. You will not regret it. Ciao!

Lovely & clean apartment with an iconic view of Positano!

Positive experience in Casa Leucosia in the heart of Positano. Aparment is clean, quiet & cozy. Nice and bright sitting room and a terrace with an iconic view of Positano (same view as you would get if you stay in famous Le Sirenuse hotel for €1000 a night) . Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed good sleep quality. As there were no windows in the bed rooms, it was difficult to wake up early in the morning :) Host Pierpaolo and apartment maid Ana Maria were very pleasant and welcoming. To get to the property I would recommend taking a boat from Naples port. We arrived by bus and except for the beautiful views it was a very long and tiring journey with all the twists and turns, narrow roads and traffic. However we had a lovely and smooth journey back to Naples at the end of our stay. We took boat Positano - Sorrento - Napoli port and then taxi to the airport and it was very pleasant. We were planing to rent a car in Positano but it was not necessary as the traffic on the island was horrendous, worse than in London at times and from what I have seen it is a waste of the precious time sitting in traffic. We went by road to Amalfi which is nearby and we were disappointed how long it took so we took a boat back after the visit. We were very happy with the boat services and visited Capri and Sorrento and Napoli. Hope to visit an island of Ischia and Ravello on our next trip to Positano. Very expensive everywhere on the Amalfi Coast but it was worth it and I highly recommend to experience it for yourselves.
