This was a perfect location for walking to just about anything. We enjoyed the proximity to the metro and many food choices. The property owners and manager were all fantastic and easy to reach, which is essential when traveling away from home. The only issue we had was lack of ac during a warm spell. When I searched for properties it was listed having ac. We were able to leave the windows open and there were nice ceiling fans that helped circulate air.

The location was great and the main reason why i chose it. You could definitely tell it was someone's home you were staying in. But overall, it was what we were looking for.

Convenient, Low-Stress Rental

The place is very conveniently located and has plenty of beds available for a large family with kids or a couple of families to share. The hosts were also VERY helpful and communicative. It is a lived in home vs a typical vacation rental, but that adds to the experience of being "home" in Paris!

Summer in paris

We had an amazing time at this apartment! We had grandparents through young kids and loved this property! The location is exceptional, the apartment has fantastic character, and the hoste is peerless: prompt, accurate, and flexible. Highly recommended!

Great location with lots of character

This apartment comprises the entire top floor of the building. It is in a great location near the Luxembourg Gardens and Rue Mouffetard. It is great for family, especially with little ones. There are lots of small, loft locations for sleeping, two showers, a nice kitchen, washer and dryer and everything you need for a fun stay exploring Paris.

Quiet large apartment in great location

Great apartment close to 2 metro lines on a quiet street. Since it's a family's home, it has everything you need unlike most minimally furnished vacation apartments. Both David and Virginie were lovely and easy to communicate with.

Great location

Our group of 10 stayed here. It's big and is in a great location right by the Pantheon where you can walk everywhere. The owners were very communicative and responsive. This is the owners' family's primary residence so their things are still there, but they have a couple clear cabinets and closets and a completely clear fridge so still certainly enough room for guests' things.

The home was in a very good location easy to walk the entire city. The flat did have a lot of clutter and personal items of the family. There also was also used bar soap in all the showers.

We’ve been renting our home for more than 10 years now and got many different great groups. I never had such a bad experience as with Melissa, the reason why for the first time I replied “no” to the question “Would you host Mxxxxx again ?”. Neighbors complained of shoutings at night, running in the flat, probably drunk. Instead of doing the check out properly, they left a few moments before the planned time, and left the keys in the flat. He quickly discovered why. The flat was very dirty. Someone threw up and tried to hide sheets and mattress full of vomit. When contacted, Mxxxxx replied in private that “someone got sick” and “she was not aware” of that. When I asked for more details in the WhatsApp group I created with people of her group, she admitted she got sick. When asking why she didn’t tell in advance, that she was “too embarrassed” to tell us (not even to apologize). Wow. How disrespectful ! Anybody would have tried to wash instead of leaving their vomit like that, instead of just replying “let me know the cost to clean or replace bedding and I will be happy to pay”. She will be happy to pay ? I would be happy to never ever have such a disrespectful customer as Mxxxxx. Some alcohol bottles were found in some bedrooms but according to her, “it was already there before”… which is completely false. As I wrote to her, she should never again rent a family flat in a quiet building for such parties with adult friends..

A very nice "atticflat" right in the heart of Paris close to everything.

We appreciated the size of the flat, the many different rooms, the kitchen and two bathrooms and toiletts. In particular it was nice with an intact flat with everything in place like there was a family living here with furniture and all. Nice views from the windows. Very close to transportation fascilities, many resaurants and shops in the neigherhood.

Fabulous

Couldn't have been happier. Ideal for larger families that like some privacy and space inbetween outings. Not lacking anything and easy communication with the owners. It is the owner's own home, mind you, and not a vacation home.

Wonderful Stay, Great Location

Our local Scout Group (10 ppl Total) stayed at the property for 4 nights at the beginning of August. We had a wonderful time. The location is close to the RER train line, and blocks away from the Pantheon. Enough beds for everyone, and functional kitchen. Bathrooms are a little dated, but for downtown Paris, you aren't spending any extra time there anyways. Would recommend.

Virginie is an amazing communicator and is available to help makes holiday time in Paris even more special. The apartment is in excellent location. So many thanks to Virginie and Luna. Please note, this is an older well-lived home so not recommended for anyone with mould sensitivity or allergies.

Spacious and quirky in the heart of Paris

This property is spacious! There are plenty of bedrooms. The pocket doors to living spaces kept it quiet where our kids slept. There is a lovely view, and it is a short walk to anything you may need or want, but tucked in a dreamy, quiet neighborhood. The hosts were easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay and were flexible with check in and check out. The loft spaces were kid sized, and a fun spot for them to explore. A lot of rentals feel very empty and bland. This is clearly a home, and we enjoyed that very much. What a treat to stay here!

Charming place in fabulous location!

This apartment had personal touches, souvenirs, and art that made it feel like being guests of a friend. The hosts were very responsive by email when we had questions. The neighborhood is one of the best in Paris. We didn't do any cooking, since within a half mile radius of the flat is some of the best eating in the city, and there is a wonderful open air market at Place Monge a few days a week from which we organized some wonderful meals back at the flat. The four flights of stairs weren't really an issue--we ranged in age from 29 to 74. The train and Metro are both an easy walk, and the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens are also near. And the Seine is not that far either to walk to. Over the course of the Olympics, 5 of us stayed the entire time (we were grateful for a washer and dryer in the flat), and 8 people came and went, with a maximum of 9 at one time, using all 5 bedrooms. We did not use the loft or attic beds. It worked fine for us with the bathrooms and watching the Olympics on TV. Some of us even used the balcony a few times for breakfast. I'd stay there again with a group of friends. We had a great time--the coziness of the flat helped create a warm atmosphere.

Muchos colchones pero pocas habitaciones dignas. Bien localizada y equipada. Precio alto.

Habíamos reservado la casa para nueve personas (cuatro parejas y una persona sola) pero al final solo fuimos siete. Y menos mal, porque lo que aparentemente era una casa llena de espacios en la práctica fue muy poco útil en lo relativo a las habitaciones. Solo una habitación era suficientemente amplia y con cama de matrimonio. Las otras cuatro habitaciones eran pequeñas, abuhardilladas (una de ellas con literas) y, aunque cada una de ellas tenía 2 camas, en dos de las habitaciones solo se podía utilizar una. Bastantes de estas camas eran para niños/as así que supongo que la casa puede ser adecuada para estancias de familias pero nosotros/as somos todos/as adultos y algunos/as bastante altos así que en algunas camas no cabíamos. Además, había dos altillos con colchones a los que se subía por escaleras muy incómodas y varios colchones más en el salón... pero, como he dicho, habitaciones dignas tan solo una. Por lo demás, la casa está muy bien dotada de todo lo necesario para cocinar y comer/cenar, cosa que para nosotros/as es muy importante, así como de lavadora, secadora, lavavajillas, horno, tostadora, multitud de enchufes, etc. La cocina es muy amplia y cómoda. De hecho, la casa está en pleno funcionamiento ya que la familia que la posee se marchaba de ella cuando nosotros/as llegábamos. También es muy agradable la pequeña terracita en la que, eso sí, de dos en dos porque es muy estrecha, te puedes salir a tomar algo si hace buen tiempo. El comedor también está bien, aunque estar en la mesa más de ocho personas puede resultar bastante incómodo. En contra tiene también que se trata de un cuarto piso sin ascensor y cuando vuelves a la tarde después de patear París pues no resulta cómodo. Pero, bueno, ésta es una cuestión menor, al menos para nosotros/as. Por lo demás, la atención de Virginie, la propietaria del piso, fue en todo momento muy amable contestando con rapidez a todas las preguntas que le hicimos y aportándonos todo tipo de detalles sobre la forma de trasladarnos desde el aeropuerto y otros servicios del entorno. Puso a nuestra disposición una carpeta con información muy útil y completa: un buen ejemplo a seguir por otros/as propietarios/as. La ubicación de la casa es otra ventaja. A media hora andando de l'Ile de la Cité. He estado dudando si poner dos o tres estrellas pero al final me he decantado por poner dos debido al precio. Si la casa hubiera sido más barata igual habríamos llevado mejor la incomodidad de las habitaciones.

This was a perfect location to stay with three generations of family. The hosts went above and beyond. They were responsive to all requests and helped to arrange a doctor's visit for an ill child. The home was comfortable, well equipped with dishes and cooking tools and plenty of space for a party of 6.

Grosse Wohnung ab absolut bester Lage

Es war toll, Weihnachten in Paris. Die Wohnung ist genug gross und die zwei Badezimmer vermeiden Stress. Zwei Zimmer sind sehr klein. Wir waren praktisch nur zu Fuss unterwegs, da die Wohnung optimal liegt. Die Wohnung war für unseren Geschmack zu vollgestopft mit privaten Dingen der Vermiter.

Thanks a lot Katarina, I'm glad you spent a great Christmas in our home. Sorry if you didn't appreciate the fact it was full of our things. We remove a lot of thinks during holiday to enable our guests to put their things, but this is our home. Be aware of the fact that in many cities, including Paris, this is allowed to rent a flat to tourists ONLY if this is our home. So when you rent flats not full, in cities like Paris, this is because some owners are renting illegally...

Perfect apartment for a family in a great neighborhood.

Staying here with my family made us all feel like true Parisians living in a Paris neighborhood. The apartment was perfect for our family, clean and well kept. The neighborhood was also perfect, so close to the Pantheon and the Luxemburg Garden being only a couple of blocks away. Many excellent restaurants to pick from. Even the restaurant, fountain, and building from Emilie in Paris is two streets away. Our host was friendly, accommodating, very assistive, and spoke perfect English. We will come back.
