4 BR/3 Bath spacious raised ranch with over sized rooms in the heart of New Eastward Look. Large open floor plan with kitchen, living and dining areas with deck access overlooking large private yard. As an added bonus, guests will be reimbursed for the purchase of a Seasonal Rhode Island State Beach pass for one vehicle!

This home is professionally managed by Narragansett Properties. We are available to guests as needed.

Narragansett is a beautiful town with something for everyone. There are many beaches to choose from--Scarborough Beach, Narragansett Town Beach, Roger Wheeler State Beach, and Salty Brine State Beach are all a short drive away. Narragansett is close to the Block Island Ferry, which makes for a lovely day trip. Grab lobsters off the boat in Galilee! Explore local destinations like Providence, Newport, Westerly, Mohegan Sun Casino or Foxwoods Casino during your stay.

Quick stroll to Scarborough Beach, close to nightlife, dining, shopping and 7 miles to URI campus. Children's park with tennis & basketball courts in the neighborhood; just minutes away you will find Adventureland, a family fun park with miniature golf, go carts, boats and more. Beautiful neighborhood - perfect place to teach your children to bike ride! Lobsters right off the boat, corn and tomatoes straight from the farm, hand churned ice cream down the street – all within 2 miles.

Bed sheets, bath towel sets, hand towels, kitchen towels, and bathmats will be delivered to your rental's doorstep in a large linen bag. Each item is individually packaged in plastic to ensure you receive a fresh set for your stay. As the guest, you are responsible for making the beds. This is an intentional part of our process to provide reassurance around the cleanliness and handling of your linens.

For your convenience, starter supplies are also provided. These include, at minimum: one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, shampoo and conditioner sets, one dishwasher pod, one laundry pod, three trash bags, a new sponge, and small bars of hand soap in each bathroom. We kindly ask that you plan to bring any additional supplies needed beyond these starter items.

The house itself was fine with plenty of space for my family of four plus parents and brother, and Scarborough Beach was very nice. It could use some more silverware, a knife hone or some way of sharpening the kitchen knives, and larger baking pans, but these are easy to rectify. However, because of the way the neighborhood was laid out, walking and biking access to the beach was only along a narrow sidewalk immediately adjacent to a 4 lane road with faster moving traffic, not ideal for walking with small kids. The house was also oddly hot despite the heat not seeming to be on, regularly being much warmer inside than out, and air circulation was poor with all the windows blocked by AC units. Those all worked fine, but don't allow more natural cooling (and the salty smell) from the sea breeze

Perfect for our family

The house was perfect for our large family group. Short walk to the beach. Great neighborhood for the kids. We loved it!

Summer vacation

Great trip to the old stomping grounds! Location was fantastic for easy access to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable, and we loved the big yard and outdoor shower!

Nice location

Short drive to beach. Nice quiet street. Great location and also short drive to Pier area. Lots of space in the home and backyard. Good sized deck.

Perfect for us

We have a large family and this home had plenty of room for all of us. Easy walk to the beac. The fireworks were spectacular. We especially appreciated the individual air conditioners in each room so every person could have the temperature they wanted.

Family vacation

The property as adequate and as described. I was concerned about the comfort of the beds but they were perfect. There was a heat wave during our stay so we really appreciated having the AC. The walk-in showers are tiny so be prepared.

Quiet neighborhood about a 10-15 minute all from Scarborough

Correspondence with the property owner was easy and quick. We had to change our dates and Carly was super accommodating.

The house is in a great location and can accommodate a large family but the home needs updating. Furniture is very worn, chairs broken, and carpets need to be replaced. The dehumidifier downstairs is also very loud. If updates were made the home would be amazing.

Enjoyable

Kitchen needs upgrade in microwave. Need a space on the ground for eating and drinks especially with 5 bedrooms a lot of people on deck. Can’t really walk to beach with families but that’s ok. It was very comfortable in the house for all of us. Thank you for caring Ellie Pagell

Perfect Getaway for Quiet and Fun

This house is so close to all the action and yet because it has an empty lot next door and a huge back yard it is very private. We stayed last year and walked to the beach and even restaurants right near the beach.Many of the houses around us weren't rented and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Two miles down the road is a great amusement park for the kids that was prefect for when the kids were tired of the beach.The management company was super responsive when we needed anything. I'd definitely return this year if my kids school didn't start so early!

Needs some TLC

We always stay in this great neighborhood as its close to the beach. This house needs a good cleaning inside and out and some basic home maintenance. There was a leaky faucet, loose floorboards on the deck and a broken spindle on the inside stairs. It was also missing some basics you would expect in a rental- no hangers in the closets and limited places to hang towels.

The stay was fine with the exception of small bugs in the first floor and kitchen. Food did get into some food. AC filters needed to be cleaned, which we did. Toilet seats needed tightening.

Best part close to the beach, the rest is questionable.

The house needs work. It appears that they started working on the house, but never finished; walls patched, but not painted, no toilet paper holders, floors warped, carpets are dirty. The beds are very uncomfortable. The kitchen items are lacking, microwave needs to be replaced. The bathrooms sinks leak

Proximity to the beach was the only decent plus to this house. When we arrived the inside of the house smelled like fish. The furniture and decor was dingy, ripped and well worn. The downstairs bathroom had a humidifier that sounded like a jet liner taking off and it ran constantly. The closet in one of the bedrooms downstairs had mold and dampness bags. The outside furniture had a broken table and chairs. There was no beach equipment. You had to rent everything. After further investigation we’d learned the house is a college rental during the school year. It is obvious no real upkeep on the property is performed. This is the first time I have rented a property on VRBO and been disappointed in the accommodation's. I would not recommend this property for family rentals I would stick with the college crowd for this house.

While all of Narragansett was met with the onset of a smelly red tide last week, please note that this smell is not associated with the home, but rather a greater amount of seaweed on the beaches at times. Very disappointed with the maintenance of the home prior to our arrival

This is a spacious home in proximity to Scarborough Beach (less than half a mile). For the most part, this house is roomy and comfortable for a big family, but I was disgusted to find stained bedcover in the master bedroom and a dirty moldy bathroom curtain in the master bathroom. Besides these items the house was advertised as having central air which it doesn't have. Additionally, the second bathroom on the first floor was falsely advertised because the wall was not painted the light cover was missing. Also, the rugs in the two bedrooms upstairs were substantially stained. Lastly, the cleaning company did a lousy job dusting because there were cobwebs and spiders in the wall corners and on some of the painting. If you are going to charge for cleaning the house before you arrive then please do so.

I love this Neighborhood!

The house we booked was good. It lacked some of the warmth and charm we've gotten used to over the years from other homes we've rented in this neighborhood. The kitchen drawers could have used some organization. And it lacked some of the basics ie mixing/salad bowls. But overall, the house was clean. The management company kept us updated as to when some workers were going to be at the house to do some maintenance repairs. The outside of the property looked a bit rundown. But you cant beat being close to the beach, not far from Newport & Block Island. We will stay in this area again next year.

Great location

This house had a nice layout and plenty of room to spread out. We loved the location and neighborhood. Much of the usual rental kitchen supplies were lacking but we managed. There was some general upkeep that was also lacking but when we reached out to the rental agency they were very responsive.

Great location

The house is in a great location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. House was good size and fit our family comfortably. Having access to the garage was also convenient. Check in process also was smooth.

Great house and location

The layout of the house and the upstairs bedrooms were great. Spacious living room and kitchen. The location was great but I wouldn’t say a “short walk” to the beach. One of the bedrooms downstairs was dark, the air conditioner was loud, not as nice as the others. That being said, we would rent this house again.

Great family vacation house!

We loved our experience in this house-there was room enough for all of our family and the beach was just a short walk away. The house was equipped for 3 generations as well as dogs, and we all had a great time! Pluses included the outdoor shower , yard for kids and lovely, quiet neighborhood for walks and scooter riding. Our property manager, Carly, was very prompt and helpful. We would stay here again and thank you!

Expected more

The external house and property needed work; there was trash under the shrubs, the gas grill was horrible, the very steep deck stairs needed lights and the deck and siding are rotting and need paint job. The size of the house was nice with all of the bedrooms but the dryer did not work properly, there was no garbage disposal or faucet spray, the microwave is very small and the vacuum didn’t work.

Disappointed

Property pictures for this rental were clearly several years old and a lot of wear and tear has occured since then. House had a damp, musty smell. The couches and throw pillows were well worn and dirty. Bedrooms downstairs were not usable as one A/C was loud, and there was a loud, high pitched sound which the source couldn't be located.
