A comfortable, air-conditioned house for 6 people, with 3 bedrooms and two large terraces overlooking the sea. Quiet neighborhood close to downtown and a 5-minute walk from the Fortress, the PORT, and all shops and restaurants. A small beach is 400 meters away. Behind the house, a coastal path along the ocean leads to the Phare ( Lighthouse ). Ideal for walks. In July, fireworks for the Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem festival.
You can even rent two other independent houses in the same street for a holiday with family or friends (please contact us in this case). Enjoy your stay.

Peniche stay July 9-16 2022

This house is amazing! Wonderful for our family of 4. Had everything we could possibly need. Odette who met us is truly exceptional. Leaving us juice and fresh bread and cheese because it was too late to find something to eat. The owners were responsive and prompt with their communication and made things very simple. Peniche served as a "home base" for us to take day trips to places such as Sintra, Porto, Obidios and the Balengeal Archipelago. We were fortunate and grateful to have the cooler temperatures given that so much of Portugal was under a heat wave. We wished our week had a little more sun, but overcast skies provided cooler weather. If you are considering this property, I might ask the owners if they know the "schedule" of festivals. Because the house is so centrally located we arrived to the first night of a festival that played loud music/DJ until at least midnight with flashing lights from the carnival rides. We asked Odette and one of the food vendors and they said it would remain there for the month. I gather the locals who live nearby weren't exactly pleased as well to have this all month. It was great for a couple of nights to have authentic Portuguese food from food vendors and plenty of dessert opportunities. But our week was not the calm and tranquil week we had expected in Peniche. We are very happy to have visited this part of Portugal. Thank you!

"La casa es una reproducc...

"La casa es una reproducción atlántica de una casa ibicenca, abierta, espaciosa, con mucha luminosidad. Nuestra estancia se nos hizo corta. Tuvimos la mala suerte de llegar en fiestas, situadas a escasa distancia lo que produjo ruido e impidió disfrutar del paisaje en su totalidad. Conviene tenerlo en cuenta. como sugerencia al anuncio, debería indicarse que la habitación de tres camas tiene acceso a traves de una escalerilla."

Premier voyage au Portugal, on a beaucoup apprécié le logement,de belles pièces et des balcons avec une vue magnifique. Quant à la ville de Péniche, nous y avons fait de très belles ballades le long des côtes. Une ville de pêcheurs avec ses bonnes odeurs de sardines grillées et de morue .. génial

Picturesque Peniche

We had a wonderful time staying at the Bouvier property in Peniche. The location is perfect as restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Odete the on site manager met us and showed us around the apartment and made the check in and check out very easy for us. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking equipment and a Nespresso coffee maker. The rooftop deck is as magical as it looks in the photos.

Perfect stay for vacation

Very welcoming , helpful host. Very easy to communicate with. The property was beautiful , clean and private. In a great area with walking distance to many great stores , restaurants cafe and beaches. Would absolutely stay again.

Séjour en famille

Merci à Odette qui nous a accueillis chaleureusement avec boissons et panier gourmand. De quoi nous permettre de profiter de notre soirée dès notre arrivée, et d'observer la mer et le coucher du soleil depuis la grande terrasse sur les toits. La maison se trouve dans l'ancien quartier des pêcheurs avec ses maisons colorées. Vue sur la mer et la forteresse. Située à 3 min à pied des restaurants. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette petite maison super équipée.

Globalement satisfaisant

Accueil agréable avec petites attentions (fruits, pain, bouteille de vin, etc) La maison n’était pas bien nettoyée à notre arrivée mais les propriétaires, qui n’habitent pas au Portugal, ont été compréhensifs et nous ont accordé une remise sur le prix du nettoyage. La maison est bien rénovée et agréable, en particulier la pièce de vie. Les chambres sont par contre assez humides, surtout la chambre qui est située à l’entresol( odeur d’humidité, draps légèrement humides). La literie est confortable. L’endroit où se situe la maison ne manque pas de charme avec les petites ruelles et maisons de pêcheurs mais il faut prendre sa voiture pour aller faire les courses et aller à la plage ( la petite plage à proximité a pied n’est pas la plus belle du coin et il serait dommage de se priver des belles autres plages). Il faut savoir que la route pour les plages est assez embouteillée en haute saison et que cela prend facilement 20 minutes pour aller à la plage. Si vous voulez un séjour au calme, renseignez vous au sujet du calendrier des festivités. Lors de notre séjour, une foire était installée à proximité de la maison. Nous avons eu de la musique à fond jusque 4h du matin pendant deux nuits (avec feu d’artifice à 1h30 du matin à chaque fois) et puis jusque minuit les 3 nuits suivantes! Bonne communication avec les propriétaires.

Tolles Haus mitten in und über der Altstadt

Sehr gelungener, moderner Ausbau von mehreren Altstadthäuschen zu einem besonderen Ferienhaus. Unten die Schlafräume und Bäder mit einem schmalen Innenhof, darüber ein flaches (halbhohes), aber für Kinder zum Schlafen sehr gemütliches Mezzanine und oben ein großes Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche mit Blick zur alten Festung und zum Meer. Über allem zwei riesige Dachterrassen mit Schattendach, Außentheke und Grillplatz. Super sauber, sehr komplett ausgestattet mit z.B. scharfen Küchenmessern. Fußläufig ist ein kleiner Badestrand, viele Restaurants, das Zentrum und im Sommer der Rummelplatz, parken in Hausnähe ist kein Problem. Sehr freundliche und interessierte Vermieter mit schneller und hilfreicher Kommunikation, nicht zuletzt sehr freundlicher Empfang durch Odette vor Ort. War ein super Urlaub.

Full marks

Loved this place. Very spacious- bedrooms on the lower floor including a mezzanine area which the kids lived. Living/dining room/kitchen upstairs with lovely natural light leading out on to the roof terraces. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of goodies in the fridge awaiting us. Neighbourhood lovely too - quiet local area, right by the coast and very convenient to get around to the rest of Peniche either on foot or in the car. Communication with hosts very smooth and supportive

Besonderes Haus

Danke für den tollen Empfang durch Odete. Das Haus ist sehr besonders: Großer Wohn-Essraum, 2 Terrassen, eigenes Bad für das große Schlafzimmer, insgesamt 3 Toiletten. Man wohnt mitten unter den Einheimischen. Geschäfte und Cafes nicht weit. Einziger Schlechtpunkt: Die Schlafzimmer müffeln ein wenig.

Os proprietários são muito amáveis e atenciosos. Muito obrigado também ao casal que cuida da casa e que foram igualmente muito prestáveis. A casa no centro da vila é muito ampla e agradável. Foi uma óptima experiência!!!

Underbart hus och magisk takterrass

Jag skulle rekommendera detta boende till alla! Jättefint hus med gott om utrymme. Fint och städat samt Julia som tar emot en vid ankomst är helt underbart gullig! Terassen är fantastisk och har sol från morgon till kväll samt underbar utsikt!

Casa in posizione tranquilla

La casa che lascia sempre in apprensione poiché ci muove tra un locale e l'altro tramite ben 3 scale piuttosto ripide, senza dubbio non adatta ai bambini. La cucina è servita di tutto e di qualità. Le stanze a piano terra sono molto comode le altre sopra un po' poca luce. La foto nell'annuncio purtroppo non è veritiera perché si trova alcune strade sotto e dalla casa di vede solo un piccolo spicchio di mare. I proprietari hanno preparato un book esaustivo con indicazioni della casa e dei dintorni. Julia e Mario sono i signori che accudiscono la casa sono simpatici e ci hanno aiutato egregiamente in più di una occasione. Tutto sommato è andato tutto bene.

Very stylish house

What a wonderful house. From the rooftop-terrasses we could see the sea and the Fortaleza, which is worth to be visited. The house and the interior is very stylish, we liked it a lot. Julia from the neighborhood gave us the key and showed us everything. There are wonderful beaches - Supertubos and the beach in Baleal.

Sonnenterrasse mit Meerblick

Wir waren sehr angetan von dieser Unterkunft, die ausreichend Platz für eine Familie bietet, angenehm hell ist und als Highlight eine große Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Festung in Peniche und den Atlantik bietet. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch eine Nachbarin klappte prima, obwohl diese kein Englisch versteht; aber da konnte die Vermieterin weiterhelfen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall gerne wieder kommen!

Wunderbare Tage in einem tollen Haus

Wir haben eine sehr gute Zeit in dem äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus verbracht. Alles sah wirklich so aus, wie auf den Bildern, war hochwertig und blitzblank sauber. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist einfach nur herrlich. Der Kontakt per Email mit Guy gestaltete sich unkompliziert und Julia, die das Haus vor Ort betreut, war sehr liebenswürdig. Etwas ungewöhnlich war die Tatsache, dass Haushaltsartikel für die Küche selbst mitzubringen waren (Spülmittel, Tabs, Schwamm, Salz/Pfeffer) und wir eine Kaution in bar vor Ort zahlen mussten. Das war aber alles kein Problem, da es angekündigt wurde. Der Ort selbst war im Oktober schon etwas verschlafen, dafür ist man vom Massentourismus verschont. Wir können das Restaurant "A Sardinha" sehr empfehlen (zu Fuß 10 Minuten). Ein Bootsausflug auf die Berlengas-Inseln war auch echt interessant. Ansonsten lädt der Strand Richtung Baleal zum Spazieren, Baden und Surfen ein :)

Traumappartment mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und das alte Fort.

Es handelt sich um ein altes, liebevoll und geschmackvoll renoviertes Fischerhaus im ursprünglichsten Teil von Peniche mit 2 wunderschönen großen Terrassen mit Meerblick. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts Julia ist sehr herzlich und immer ansprechbar. Die Möwen sind unsere Freunde geworden und wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen.

Wunderschön!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Juli 2018 in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Peniche verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit Beatrice war immer nett und problemlos. Das Haus in einer kleinen Straße mitten in Peniche ist voller Überraschungen. Erst sieht man es von der Straße eigentlich gar nicht, doch wenn man dann einmal eingetreten ist, haut es einem um. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, bietet viel Platz, gleich mehrere Terrassen und eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Julia und Mario vor Ort sind großartig und haben uns mit gegrillten Sardinen verwöhnt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Merci, Obrigado e até a próxima!

Un délice -Repos complet - quiétude -villa tres agréable

Séjour en avril 2018 de total repos - on se déconnecte tout de suite - la 2eme terrasse au sommet idéale au petit déjeuner et déjeuner - Il’ faut faire le tour du rocher en prenant juste la route à l’angle de la maison du numéro 1 de la même rue pour prendre de jolies photos - aller aussi voir la jetée près du port et l’ile De Berlinga - on a pris la plage face à Intermarché , monter les escaliers devant la dune et on peut marcher les pièds dans l’eau longtemps jusqu’a la plage de BALEAL insolite avec la route sépare la mer . On marche des heures mais on peut prendre la mer plus bas vers rip curl Au centre à côté de la maison du tourisme petite air de jeux bien appréciée pour les enfants . Inaugurer les rues qui recèlent de magasins d’habits, nourriture , souvenirs . Séjour Extra

Grand moment d'évasion avec un temps d'été pendant huit jours . Un pur délice .cuisine salon chambr

Un grand moment de détente et de paisibilité après une grosse panne de voiture parfaitement réparée par le garage de Peniche .Cuisine, salon, chambres et lits confortables à deux pas du centre ville C'etait la dernière semaine d'octobre et nous nous sommes baignés dans la petite crique à gauche en sortant de la maison.Tous les repas ont été pris en terrasse , avec de bonnes grillades de poisson sur le barbecue. .Très bon accueil sur place. À recommander et à refaire .

Wir erlebten eine tolle Woche in Peniche.

Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Fühlten uns sehr wohl. Es klappte alles tiptop mit Schlüsselübergabe, Danke auch für die vorgängig gesendeten Infos. Wir mussten einfach kalt duschen, haben nicht rausgefunden wie es auf Warm gestellt werden konnte.
