Tres belle villa

Very nice villa, with a nice pool. Good communication with the owner, clean house, nice location. We were a group of 12 cyclists who had a very nice holiday in a perfect house

Family of 8

Beautiful house full of character with 3 separate outdoor seating areas. Quiet village with lovely surrounding countryside. 10 minutes drive to the Carrefour. Great base for walking, visiting Annecy and staying in for long lunches. Loved it.

Super holiday

We had a super holiday at this place. The communication with Jean Louis was really clear, friendly and in English (nice for us non French speaking). The house was even better than the pictures. A really warm atmosphere with many places to sit down both in the Sun and shade. The pool was big, clean and well maintained. The area around the house is great for hiking, cycling etc. Overall we had a excellent stay and we hope to come back at this place somewhere in the future! Can realy recommend this place!

Massignieu House

The house is in a beautiful setting with lovely views and close to the lake beaches at bourget. We spent most of our time by the pool and the fantastic outside area which was perfect for our group of friends and children. The pool was a little chilly at the end of August, but refreshing on a hot day. The house was clean with most rooms decorated in an older style with antique french furniture. Only downside was the bathroom set-up for a group of friends with 1 shower off 1 of the bedrooms, a bath off one of the bedrooms, 1 separate toilet and a shower room in the laundry area with its own toilet.

Spacious house, garden view on Dent du Chat

Large house with plenty of space for us, a group of 11 in a quiet neighborhood. It has two living rooms a seperate dining room and 5 bedrooms. It could do with an extra bathroom/toilet. The house remains cool during summer because of it's thick walls and outside hatches on the windows. The lush garden offers several terraces, a large pool, and beautiful views of the valley and the Dent du Chat, a nearby mountain. The owners speak English very well which makes it easy to communicate. The local contact/caretaker however doesn't speak any English making it difficult to communicate in detail. There are plenty of walks in the mountains nearby as is Lac du Bourget. The village itself doesn't have any shops/boulangerie so you need a car to do your (grocery) shopping. Pool room and outside Pingpong table were frequently used, as was the pool. Let the caretaker open and close the pool cover for you as it appeared to be fragile.

A week of pure rest and relaxation

I am a little hesitant to write this review as I don't want so many people knowing about such a great place. Approximately 10 of my friends and myself spent a week at this immaculately maintained farmhouse in Massignieu De Rives. It is easy to find using GPS and the surrounding area is incredibly scenic with lots of different things to do, such as hiking, biking, swimming, etc. The only drawback was that the house was so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The very gracious owners greeted us upon arrival and took us on a personal tour of the house and it's surroundings. You could tell that they take a great deal of pride in the property. The pictures do not do this place justice. The house is quite big and can easily accommodate a large group of people without feeling like you are tripping over each other. We spent most of our time out on the terrace, which offers amazing views, and by the pool. The house is a 10 minute drive from both a large supermarket and a train station which has direct connections to Lyon and Geneva. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped to handle the cooking required for a party of 10-12. In summary, this house and it's relaxing surroundings offer a great getaway for a group of friends or family and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future.

Stunning property in a stunning location. The swimming pool is the highlight - well maintained, and an absolute joy in the summer. Other facilities are also well maintained and easy to use (BBQ, kitchen, etc.).The host is responsive and helpful, and check in and out were very smooth.We had a lovely holiday and would recommend it to anyone.

Deuxième séjour dans cette magnifique propriété et toujours autant satisfaits...Maison, jardin et piscine au top, environnement tranquille...bref un séjour familial parfait.. et cerise sur le gâteau, une présentation détaillée et complète de la maison et de son environnement disponible cette année réalisée par le propriétaire. Der Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft. Das Anwesen bietet einen wunderschönen Ausblick ins Grüne und auf die Berge. Besonders der Garten mit den zwei Terrassen und dem Pool ist ein Highlight, hier findet man unzählige Möglichkeiten, die Zeit im Freien zu genießen. Auch das Haus selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen: Vor allem die große, gut ausgestattete Küche lädt dazu ein, gemeinsam mit vielen Leuten zu kochen und zu genießen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Super séjour

Nous avons passe une excellente semaine, merci a la fraicheur de cette vieille maison, magnifiquement restauree et a sa grande piscine. Une mention particuliere pour la gentillesse et la disponibilite du gestionnaire Yves et a la reactivite du proprietaire, qui ont remplace le lave linge en pznnexen 24h!Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Sehr schönes Landhaus

Wir haben die Zeit in diesem charmanten Landhaus mit sehr schönem Garten im Kreise unserer Freunde und Familie sehr genossen. Unsere Sauberkeitsansprüche wurden jedoch nicht erfüllt. Vor allem die Küche war nicht sauber (Sieb Geschirrspüler,Schubladen und Geschirr). In Bad und Dusche sollten die Abläufe und Hahnen einmal gründlich gereinigt werden. Staubsauger waren voll - mussten zuerst gereinigt werden. Für 8 Personen waren nicht genügend Gläser vorhanden und eine grosse Bratpfanne hat gefehlt. Sehr vieles ist vorhanden - super - leider lässt Zustand oft zu wünschen übrig (Fahrräder). Massignieu-de-Rives und Umgebung ist eine Reise wert!

Tolle Woche in einer tollen Umgebung

Wir haben die Woche Urlaub im tollen Haus umgeben vom tollen Garten sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist ruhig und landschaftlich sehr schön. Der Ort selbst hat so gut wie keine Infrastruktur, aber mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell im Nachbarort, Belley, wo es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat. Restaurants haben wir nicht vermisst, da wir selbst gekocht haben.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Das Haus ist urig und es fehlt an nichts. Der Außenbereich ist wunderschön angelegt und gepflegt, es gibt mehrere Sitzbereiche und eine neue sehr gemütliche Lounge. Der Poolbereich ist sogar mit einem kindersicheren Schloss verriegelt, was für uns perfekt war.

Wunderschönes Haus in Massignieu

Zwei Familien aus 4 Erwachsenen, 5 Kindern und Hund haben hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht. Der Vermieter ist super, antwortet sehr schnell. Vor Ort wird er von einem sehr netten Hausmeister vertreten. Das Haus ist groß, die Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Aufteilung und Zimmer sind gut beschrieben und gemütlich. Alleinig die Matrazen (alle!) könnten erneuert werden. Die Außenanlagen und der Pool sind fantastisch. Empfehlenswert!

Une très belle propriété à recommander

Nous avons séjourné ensemble à 3 familles dans cette très belle propriété. La communication a été facile et amicale tant avec le propriétaire qu'avec la personne intermédiaire sur place. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et bien pensés, il y a plusieurs espaces : terrasse très bien exposée juste devant la maison, terrasse ombragée sur le côté de la maison et terrasse "suspendue" comme un balcon au-dessus de la piscine. Il y a également beaucoup de mobilier de jardin, confortable. La maison est aussi très agréable et spacieuse, on s'y sent bien. Un gros plus est sa fraîcheur malgré la canicule! Bref, nous recommandons cette propriété pour un séjour dans la région.

Ein traumhaftes Objekt in herrlich ruhiger Gegend! Unsere (hohe) Erwartung wurde tatsächlich übertroffen. Wenn denn nur der freundliche Weinbauer am Anfang der Straße sein Holzofenbaguette jeden Tag und nicht nur Samstags backen würde... Zum Weinkaufen selbst, ist man für gehobenere Wein in Jongieux besser aufgehoben und bei voller Belegung aller 6 Doppelzimmer wäre ein Zusätzliches Bad/WC noch das I Tüpfelchen

De omgeving en het uitzicht in de vallei is schitterend... Het huis authentiek met alle comfort voor 12 personen ... de keuken zéér goed uitgerust.... Alles is ruim voorzien vr 12 pers.... (buiten : zetels, lounge-meubilair) Mooi gemeubleerd nr de stijl vh huis..Zwembad zéér proper en onderhouden....In de streek voldoende mogelijkheden vr uitstappen....Vriendelijk onthaal... In één woord, ons verblijf v 1 week was SCHITTEREND !!!!

eine erholsame Woche in einem wunderbaren Haus

Wir durften eine wunderbare Woche in dem stilvoll renovierten Landhaus von Jean-Louis verbringen. Ein grosses Haus mit viel Platz in und ums Haus. Wir waren alle begeistert.

Superbe maison, propre, spacieuse, les extérieurs sont très bien pensés. Nombreuses places de stationnement, propriété clôturée. Accès piscine en contre bas, avec portillon sécurisé pour les enfants. Terrasse suspendue très agréable, Yves nous a très bien accueilli et nous a très bien expliqué les consignes. Séance de billard et de ping pong, concours de plongeons, balades à vélo, vous n'aurez que l'embarras du choix, impossible de s'ennuyer ! Une propriété à recommander ! Merci 😁😁
