The house will seduce you with its beauty and tranquility. It is all of cut stone and wood (its owner, fellow cabinetmaker, made it himself), it is spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned, far from any noise, and its garden is an oasis of pleasant freshness. in summer, its large swimming pool allows you to swim, play and cool off. garden tables, deckchairs, barbecue will allow you to live outside as often as you wish
Pézenas, where you can go on foot in 5 minutes, is renowned for its medieval old town, the stalls of its artisans, open overnight two nights a week, its theatrical visits (Molière lived there and perfected its art), its theaters, its many shows throughout the summer, its cinema, its media library, its tennis courts, its market which lasts all day on Saturday and its many restaurants.

Stone cottage

A really lovely place to stay on the edge of the city. Semi rural and quiet and yet only a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We really enjoyed staying in Pezenas it is a great base in a lovely area. We barely touched it and will definitely return. As other reviews have mentioned the pool and outdoor space is great and photos do not do it justice.

A Wonderful Stay!

We have just returned from a perfect stay in this stunning property. As soon as you walk in you are amazed by the character and spacious layout, with solid oak beams and wooden staircase. , and fireplace. The house is fully equipped with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. The garden is fully enclosed and private, and provides areas for all needs. You can eat in the shade or the sunshine, with plenty of lighting for the evening. There is a large pool with plenty of space around it for sun loungers – lovely to come back to after a day out. The whole property is so relaxing. It is only a very short walk into Pézenas which is a delightful, historic town, full of shops and places to eat. In the medieval area you can get lost in the maze of winding streets, again full of shops, restaurants and cafes, only to find you are never more than a few steps from the wide open areas of the town! The town has a buzz about it and is lively in the day and at night, and yet at the same time always feels friendly, calm and relaxing. The Saturday market is a must, and one of the best. Pézenas is perfectly placed to explore the area, whether into the mountains or around the coast, and you are never lost for somewhere to explore. However long your stay, it is never enough! The owners, Thomas and Nadine, are excellent hosts, easily contactable by email, immediately responsive, but never intrusive. Thank you so much!

A hidden gem perfect for resting and exploring

We stayed nearly 3 weeks at this property and absolutely LOVED it. The house and gorgeous mature garden (and great pool!) were actually even better and more spacious than we expected from the online pictures. The owners (Nadine, Thomas and their adult daughter) were extremely friendly, responsive, but never intrusive! The check-in process was a breeze and they were super helpful anytime we needed something (they worked hard on the first day to get the pool's alarm system fixed for instance and always communicated with us via emails promptly). We had a couple of safety concerns at first because our young daughter has mobility issues and the house has a lot of stairs and level changes, but in the end we were very comfortable and could not be more pleased with the well-appointed amenities (great kitchen and incredible bathroom especially!). The place is very private (no viw on any neighbor), quiet and ideal for days spent chilling around the pool and dinners al fresco. But it is also only a 5 min walk (on a road without sidewalks but fairly safe nevertheless) from the lively and beautiful town of Pezenas where you'll find shops, restaurants, cafes, and antique stores galore, as well as one of the best farmers markets in the south of France (every saturday). There's a toy museums for little ones and a great parc. We used this as our base to explore the beauty of the surroundings and take day trips but honestly, the property is so comfy and unique that you will want to stay put!

Oasis de fraîcheur

Super bien située dans Pézenas, et communication efficace. Maison très charmante et hyper spacieuse, parfaite pour 6 personnes. Jardin magnifique et reposant, agrémentée d’une grande piscine. Literie correcte. Salle de bain incroyable. Le carnet d’accueil est très complet sur les bonnes pratiques à tenir ainsi que sur les possibilités et activités disponibles aux alentours. En bref, nous reviendrons dans ce havre de paix avec plaisir et recommanderons ce superbe lieux.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. La propriété est au calme et en même temps très bien placée. La maison est très agréable avec toutes les commodités. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles. Un grand merci pour ce très bon séjour.

Super vacances

Très chaleureuse maison en pierre et bois où nous avons pu nous reposer au calme. La cerise sur le gâteau étant le magnifique jardin très bien entretenu, un vrai petit coin de paradis. La piscine est parfaite en taille et surtout en profondeur (1m40 étant parfait pour les jeux de balle !)

Great Location

Great place close to Pezenas Centre and a big pool. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We used the table kicker (baby foot) everyday and the kids are pros now. The garden is so beautiful!!! Thanks a lot to Nadine and Thomas!

Wer einen entspannten Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung sucht wird hier glücklich. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Details gemacht und sehr sauber.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefüllt.Der Pool ist ein Traum.Die Kinder hatten viel Spass.Der Garten ist wunderbar. Die "Haushälter" sind unglaublich freundlich und waren immer zu erreichen.Als Willkommensgeschenk haben wir toller Wein und Marmelade aus dem Region bekommen.Wir kommen gerne wiede

Très belle maison

Maison exceptionnelle faites avec beaucoup de goût par un vrai artisan. Piscine magnifique ou mes enfants ont pu jouer tous les jours. La propriétaire est adorable est pleins de bons conseils. La villa est proche de tous mais loin des nuisances sonores. Un vrai bonheur. Merci encore et certainement à l'année prochaine.

Une oasis à deux pas du centre de Pézenas

A 5 minutes à pied du centre historique de Pézenas, la maison des Eldoyen est un petit bijou au coeur d'un jardin luxuriant soigné avec amour. Très bien équipée, la maison offre tout le confort pour une famille en vacances. Parfaitement entretenue, la piscine est très agréable, avec sa terrasse de bois ombragée où il fait bon se prélasser. Une grande table sous la tonnelle, un barbecue en dur, un coin apéro au bord de la piscine: le grand jardin offre toute ce qu'il faut pour passer un très agréable séjour dans le Midi.

Great location and peaceful villa

We had a really good two week break in the villa which is located perfectly for a peaceful holiday where you have access to anything you want to do. We are a family with 2 children aged 10 and 7 and were joined for part of our holiday by the grandparents. The villa provided for a very relaxing stay and the children loved the pool (although it was a bit chilly). The owners came immediately when we reported a problem with the pool and fixed it. They genuinely cared that we enjoyed our holiday. The listing description was accurate and the property was well maintained although we found the garden a bit rugged. It was very quick to walk into Pezanas and we particularly loved the old town, choice of restaurants and the Friday evening wine and food festival. We explored the area and visited several different beaches (our favourite was Mese), towns (we loved Saint-Guilhem le desert), caves and rivers (we loved kayaking).

Tranquil richly designed unique home

We were delighted with our holiday choice. The house was perfectly located for us within walking distance of Pézenas and on the edge of the countryside. We enjoyed the unique style of the house and appreciated the high quality throughout. We looked forward to returning to the peace and relaxation of the house after our excursions and we made great use of the pool and garden. The shaded outdoor table was the perfect spot for dinner and we also made use of the outdoor barbecue.

Un coup de coeur!

Jolie maison original. Agréable jardin / terrasse / piscine. Malgé que le beau temps n'était pas au rendez-vous, nous avons passé une semaine très relaxante. A peine à 5 min à pied du centre de Pézenas! Merci !!

Un séjour authentique, haut de gamme et reposant

Nous avons séjourné dans cette magnifique maison une semaine fin juin 2013. Ce fut un séjour extrêmement agréable, tout est fait pour la détente, le patio ombragé, le jardin exotique, la piscine, on change de monde quand on rentre dans la maison. On a l’impression d’être dans une résidence de vacances construite pour, et haut de gamme, alors que les propriétaires y habitent toute l’année. Ils sont d’ailleurs très sympathiques ! Tout la maison a été réalisée par le propriétaire qui est Ebéniste, une vraie œuvre d’art ! Le bois apporte en plus une authenticité incroyable. La région est aussi très agréable, il y a tout, la montagne dans l’arrière-pays, les plages, les volcans, le fleuve (L’Hérault) où on peut se baigner, la garrigue pour se promener, les grottes à visiter et tout ça pas trop loin de la maison. Côté Pézenas, une très belle ville, très pittoresque avec ses ruelles, ses places et ses cafés où on peut prendre le temps de boire une bière bien fraîche en été, ses boutiques d’artisans avec des trésors à trouver... On y reviendra !

Petit pardis, protégé de tout, isolé de rien!

Un petit bijou de maison spacieuse, propre et chaleureuse. Nous avons pu lézarder devant la piscine ou bouquiner dans le jardin en ayant le sentiment d'être seul au monde tant les lieux sont calmes. Mais sitôt la porte d'entrée passée, nous étions à 10 minutes à pied de Pézenas et avons pu profiter de toutes les réjouissances organisées dans la ville. Visite nocturne des échoppes, spectacle autour de Boby Lapointe, pièce de théâtre de Molière.... chaque jour a eu son temps de surprise et de fête. Et lorsque nous avons voulu prendre la voiture, nous avons découvert avec surprise que nous étions à proximité d'un grand nombre de sites magnifiques du département de l'Hérault. Les enfants ont été ravis d'aller à la plage, ont adoré faire du vélo au bord du Salagou et la mini ferme pédagogique du Pouget. Bref, des vacances de rêve, nous n'avons qu'une envie: REVENIR!!!

Cadre reposant : une oasis de bonheur

La maison ainsi que les propriétaires sont chaleureux et accueillants. Maison parfaitement conforme aux photos : raffinée, très confortable et fonctionnelle. A deux pas du centre ville de Pézenas, charmante petite ville dynamique, pittoresque, à visiter sans faute, remplie de bons restaurants, d'échoppes artisanales et d'animations estivales. Proche de la mer, du Lac du Salagou et la campagne pour toutes sortes d'activités sportives ( VTT, baignade, pédalo, randonnée etc ...). Dépaysement total ! Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances, à recommander !

Fantastique maison

Fantastique maison, très agréable et très calme. Equipements de qualité. Propriétaires charmants. Le jardin et la piscine font de ce lieu un endroit idéal pour se reposer tout en profitant de la ville à 5mns à pied. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Très bon séjour au calme

Belle maison dans une région magnifique, toute en bois à l'intérieur, très spacieuse,on voit rapidement l'amour de son propiétaire pour le travail du bois et l'amour de son métier compagnon ébéniste... La piscine aurait besoin d'ètre chauffée car en septembre c' était un peu frais.(panneaux solaires par exemple).Le jardin ainsi que le patio sont tès agréables . La localisation parfaite ,5mn a pied du centre de Pezenas. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette maison très romantique, propre et très bien entretenue ( un petit paradis )
