The house will seduce you with its beauty and tranquility. It is all of cut stone and wood (its owner, fellow cabinetmaker, made it himself), it is spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned, far from any noise, and its garden is an oasis of pleasant freshness. in summer, its large swimming pool allows you to swim, play and cool off. garden tables, deckchairs, barbecue will allow you to live outside as often as you wish
Pézenas, where you can go on foot in 5 minutes, is renowned for its medieval old town, the stalls of its artisans, open overnight two nights a week, its theatrical visits (Molière lived there and perfected its art), its theaters, its many shows throughout the summer, its cinema, its media library, its tennis courts, its market which lasts all day on Saturday and its many restaurants.

The pool was not heated and entry was a bit difficult for some so we chose not to use it. The house itself was cold on occasion especially during the windy days and the air conditioning seemed to send the heat upstairs. The main rooms were clean but the windows on the main floor were dirty.

Beautiful traditional villa with a beautiful garden and pool, a short walk from the delightful town of Pezenas.The house is very spacious and comfortable, created from old stone and creative woodwork fashioned by your charming hosts.On a hot day there is nowhere better to be than poolside with a chilled glass of Rosé.Would love to return..

Perfect location to enjoy the gorgeous town of Pezenas and surroundings. Character house and beautiful outside space. Like others have mentioned, photos should be updated (eg pool furniture is much more sleek than in photos).

Quaint home just outside pezenas village

Home was nice and clean Parking just outside the front door. Pool was great for an afternoon dip. AC was good for the late afternoon. Great pizza 100 m away and restaurants within 15 min walk away

Stone cottage

A really lovely place to stay on the edge of the city. Semi rural and quiet and yet only a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We really enjoyed staying in Pezenas it is a great base in a lovely area. We barely touched it and will definitely return. As other reviews have mentioned the pool and outdoor space is great and photos do not do it justice.

A Wonderful Stay!

We have just returned from a perfect stay in this stunning property. As soon as you walk in you are amazed by the character and spacious layout, with solid oak beams and wooden staircase. , and fireplace. The house is fully equipped with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. The garden is fully enclosed and private, and provides areas for all needs. You can eat in the shade or the sunshine, with plenty of lighting for the evening. There is a large pool with plenty of space around it for sun loungers – lovely to come back to after a day out. The whole property is so relaxing. It is only a very short walk into Pézenas which is a delightful, historic town, full of shops and places to eat. In the medieval area you can get lost in the maze of winding streets, again full of shops, restaurants and cafes, only to find you are never more than a few steps from the wide open areas of the town! The town has a buzz about it and is lively in the day and at night, and yet at the same time always feels friendly, calm and relaxing. The Saturday market is a must, and one of the best. Pézenas is perfectly placed to explore the area, whether into the mountains or around the coast, and you are never lost for somewhere to explore. However long your stay, it is never enough! The owners, Thomas and Nadine, are excellent hosts, easily contactable by email, immediately responsive, but never intrusive. Thank you so much!

A hidden gem perfect for resting and exploring

We stayed nearly 3 weeks at this property and absolutely LOVED it. The house and gorgeous mature garden (and great pool!) were actually even better and more spacious than we expected from the online pictures. The owners (Nadine, Thomas and their adult daughter) were extremely friendly, responsive, but never intrusive! The check-in process was a breeze and they were super helpful anytime we needed something (they worked hard on the first day to get the pool's alarm system fixed for instance and always communicated with us via emails promptly). We had a couple of safety concerns at first because our young daughter has mobility issues and the house has a lot of stairs and level changes, but in the end we were very comfortable and could not be more pleased with the well-appointed amenities (great kitchen and incredible bathroom especially!). The place is very private (no viw on any neighbor), quiet and ideal for days spent chilling around the pool and dinners al fresco. But it is also only a 5 min walk (on a road without sidewalks but fairly safe nevertheless) from the lively and beautiful town of Pezenas where you'll find shops, restaurants, cafes, and antique stores galore, as well as one of the best farmers markets in the south of France (every saturday). There's a toy museums for little ones and a great parc. We used this as our base to explore the beauty of the surroundings and take day trips but honestly, the property is so comfy and unique that you will want to stay put!

Oasis de fraîcheur

Super bien située dans Pézenas, et communication efficace. Maison très charmante et hyper spacieuse, parfaite pour 6 personnes. Jardin magnifique et reposant, agrémentée d’une grande piscine. Literie correcte. Salle de bain incroyable. Le carnet d’accueil est très complet sur les bonnes pratiques à tenir ainsi que sur les possibilités et activités disponibles aux alentours. En bref, nous reviendrons dans ce havre de paix avec plaisir et recommanderons ce superbe lieux.

Super vacances

Très chaleureuse maison en pierre et bois où nous avons pu nous reposer au calme. La cerise sur le gâteau étant le magnifique jardin très bien entretenu, un vrai petit coin de paradis. La piscine est parfaite en taille et surtout en profondeur (1m40 étant parfait pour les jeux de balle !)

Great Location

Great place close to Pezenas Centre and a big pool. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We used the table kicker (baby foot) everyday and the kids are pros now. The garden is so beautiful!!! Thanks a lot to Nadine and Thomas!

Wer einen entspannten Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung sucht wird hier glücklich. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Details gemacht und sehr sauber.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefüllt.Der Pool ist ein Traum.Die Kinder hatten viel Spass.Der Garten ist wunderbar. Die "Haushälter" sind unglaublich freundlich und waren immer zu erreichen.Als Willkommensgeschenk haben wir toller Wein und Marmelade aus dem Region bekommen.Wir kommen gerne wiede

Maison exceptionnelle faites avec beaucoup de goût par un vrai artisan. Piscine magnifique ou mes enfants ont pu jouer tous les jours. La propriétaire est adorable est pleins de bons conseils. La villa est proche de tous mais loin des nuisances sonores. Un vrai bonheur. Merci encore et certainement à l'année prochaine.

Une oasis à deux pas du centre de Pézenas

A 5 minutes à pied du centre historique de Pézenas, la maison des Eldoyen est un petit bijou au coeur d'un jardin luxuriant soigné avec amour. Très bien équipée, la maison offre tout le confort pour une famille en vacances. Parfaitement entretenue, la piscine est très agréable, avec sa terrasse de bois ombragée où il fait bon se prélasser. Une grande table sous la tonnelle, un barbecue en dur, un coin apéro au bord de la piscine: le grand jardin offre toute ce qu'il faut pour passer un très agréable séjour dans le Midi.

Great location and peaceful villa

We had a really good two week break in the villa which is located perfectly for a peaceful holiday where you have access to anything you want to do. We are a family with 2 children aged 10 and 7 and were joined for part of our holiday by the grandparents. The villa provided for a very relaxing stay and the children loved the pool (although it was a bit chilly). The owners came immediately when we reported a problem with the pool and fixed it. They genuinely cared that we enjoyed our holiday. The listing description was accurate and the property was well maintained although we found the garden a bit rugged. It was very quick to walk into Pezanas and we particularly loved the old town, choice of restaurants and the Friday evening wine and food festival. We explored the area and visited several different beaches (our favourite was Mese), towns (we loved Saint-Guilhem le desert), caves and rivers (we loved kayaking).
