Great location, needs some love

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is in a GREAT location! First floor was nice when coming back from a day at the beach and we loved that it was just a step off the back porch to the pool. The queen bed seemed small. We believe it is actually a double, which was disappointing. The room with the king bed was very dusty. Dust all over the walls, smoke detector, and air vents which made my allergies flare up and honestly sucked. We had issues with the door lock upon arrival and staff was helpful in getting that problem resolved! Overall great stay and would stay here again!

Nice unit, quit and peaceful. Ground level making it so easy to go and come as you please. If traveling with children would rent a golf cart. The walk to the beach is not bad but a golf cart would make it easier.

Lovely condo convenient to beach and pool

The spacious unit was just what we needed for our family. Very comfortable and private with lots of room for all of us to enjoy a meal or just relaxing. The ground floor was perfect for unloading our luggage and beach stuff. Happy to have had the chance to stay here.

Great getaway for the week

Fort Morgan the hidden gem

Who cleans

Cleaning is definitely not someone's job at the condo. Wish I would of gotten a picture of the rat running around outside. Someone pays good money for a cleaning service to care for their condo so others can enjoy a get away. Sunset properties should definitely look into the cleaning service.

Beautiful Property

The pictures of this property don’t do it justice. We were so impressed with everything in this beautiful condo. It is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were in from out of town for tournaments. I can’t think of anything bad to say. We enjoyed the time we got to spend together as a family in this beautiful town. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The condo was nice and ground level. Biggest frustration was the lack of amenities. One towel per guest? Absolutely no extras? And only 1 tiny soap to wash with in the shower? The little things that you aren't able to pack are what was missing. We had to make a trip to a store just to buy hand soap!

Additionally, only a basic starter kit of essential items is included with each reservation. Please note that, unlike hotels, our condo rentals do not typically offer amenities such as soaps and personal care products for sanitary reasons. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall.

We rented this condo through VRBO and were very disappointed with the condition of the property. The biggest issue was not cosmetic wear, but the overall lack of cleanliness and routine maintenance. Based on what we experienced, it did not appear the condo had been properly inspected before our arrival.The issues we found included:* The back porch light did not work.* Food stains were present on the back door window treatments and on a lampshade.* A cushion was missing from one of the back porch chairs.* None of the beds had mattress protectors.* The spare pillows had no pillowcases and were in such poor condition that we were uncomfortable using them.* The beds were made with only a fitted sheet and flat sheet. While comforters were provided, there were no blankets, meaning guests are expected to sleep directly under comforters that have likely been used by countless previous renters.* The A/C vents were covered in dust.* The front bedroom window treatments were stained.* A side panel on a kitchen cabinet was missing.* The front door showed significant wear and deferred maintenance.* The toilet in the half bath would only flush if you held the handle down.* The flooring transition outside the master bathroom was missing.* The living room and bedrooms were extremely dusty. It was obvious these areas had not been dusted in quite some time.* The microwave control panel was loose and difficult to operate. We immediately reported this to property management.

While we did receive the report about the microwave from you on the first day, we do wish we had known the extent of the other issues as our team would have been happy to resolve. I am communicating these concerns with the owner, and we will absolutely get these items resolved for future renters.

The only negative which was huge to me is that the keypad to the front door can be unlocked by anyone. All you have to do is push the lock picture button to unlock it. I don’t find this safe.

Everything was as described in the description for the condo. Having a first floor place was great as my nephew has difficulty with stairs.

The beach was not as close as I thought it would be but a short walk away. Very convenient for kids and being so close to the pool. This location is perfect for a quiet get away but pretty far from anything else (main city). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
