Lovely airy rooms, and exactly what we wanted for a stay with three generations present.Although everything was of good quality, it was not designed to intimidate the guest but to feel homely.A problem with the kettle was resolved by the host organising a replacement (without any fuss!). The only issue was with some night roadworks which kept the whole block awake and had not been properly advertised in advance, but that was hardly the host's fault and should now be finished. It was also helpful to have the host in regular communication about the issue, and it is that level of care and feedback that deserves the highest praise.

This was our third visit to La Marina and, once again, it did not disappoint. This apartment is in a prime location, is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Traffic noise during the day gives way to quiet evenings, and a peaceful night's sleep, undisturbed until the birds begin their morning song.Donna welcomed us like old friends, and we are already planning our next visit. (Hopefully, the construction work at the hotel across the road will be finished by then, but at least work didn't start until 8am and was finished by 5pm.

Central and good location with harbour view

We enjoyed our stay. Location is good and central only with the road between the property and the harbor. Classic interior and good terrace.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. it was very well located although a bit of building work going on beside the apartment building was annoying in the mornings. the apartment had everything we needed and we all enjoyed it.

Perfect location

You will be hard pressed to find a more ideal location along the riviera. They go out of their way to make everything easy for us. We have stayed in this apartment multiple times, and it is always lovely.

My wife, 23 year old daughter and I had a relaxing 5 night stay here. The apartment is roomy and has a beautiful view. We greatly appreciated the air conditioning, as the weather was warm during our stay. Donna welcomed us, despite our flight into Nice arriving late. The location of this apartment was perfect — convenient to the train station and the beach. It was very clean and comfortable. We recommend.

Superb apartment

A delightful and extremely spacious flat in a perfect position with marvellous views in all directions. Very efficient check-in and help from Donna. Highly recommended.

Celebrating my birthday

What a wonderful property, it exceeded all our expectations. Very central for the supermarket , train station and the beach.It had a wonderful balcony where we would eat our breakfast and sometimes our evening meal. We definitely hope to go back next year.

Spectacular

Wonderful to take in the view every day from the living room and balcony. Quiet, secure building. Easy walking distance to beaches and town square. Everything is carefully designed for a comfortable stay. Excellent coordination with host.

Spacious and comfortable apartment

Apartment very well supplied. Very good beds, linens and kitchen equipment, decor dated but very comfortable. Perfect location, transport close by. Excellent view. Our stay marred by hotel renovation next door, but this a temporary situation. I would very much recommend this choice.

Perfect!!

My friends & I were there to both play & watch tennis. We genuinely had the best of times Sarah (the owner) & Donna (property manager) could not have been more accommodating. Everything about the apartment was fabulous. It's a great location, gorgeously appointed simply just perfect. Book it - you won't be disappointed

Very nice

The location is wonderful and the apartment is very nice. The views of the water are amazing.We had every thing we needed. It is very close to the train, the market and the waterfront. Mostly a very positive experience.The drawbacks were that the mattresses were not comfortable and there was construction noise during the week.

Seaview

The condo was excellent-size,furnishings,kitchen appliances,etc,laundry,view.The big downside was the excessive traffic noise! The condo is right at a very busy intersection with many noisy vehicles and motorcycles

Yes you are right the block is on a T junction which during rush hour particularly, can be busy, I hope you found that at the evening/night it was very quiet though. In over twenty years of renting you are the second person to comment on it, unfortunately we are in the town and even one of the smartest hotels on the Côte d'Azur La Reserve faces the road! Return to Le Marina

This was our second stay in Le Marina, the first being five years ago. It felt very familiar when we walked in the door, greeted warmly by Donna. We appreciate there was a fast turnaround between our arrival and the departure of the previous guests, and the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough, even with the limited time available. For example I found a dirty plate on the floor behind a curtain in the bedroom, which had been overlooked. Some doors had dirty fingerprints on them, and it all looked a bit shabby. Not much has changed since our last visit, and perhaps a little redecorating might be considered. The kitchen, in particular, would benefit from a coat of paint. The windows could probably do with upgrading, as the wind whistled through on a windy day. The patio door to the main balcony is very hard to close, and a couple of times, we couldn't lock it when leaving the apartment, we had to close the shutters instead. The apartment is well equipped with everything you might need during a longer stay than ours, though a shower caddy would be useful! We were a bit unlucky with our timing, as there was major renovation work going on at the hotel next door, which started at 7.15am, and the noise of drilling continued all day. That, however, was just bad luck, and we learned to live with it. Thanks to Donna for facilitating our late check out, and allowing us to leave our luggage for an extra couple of hours, as we had an evening flight home. We will be back!

Thank you Blaithin for your review, it is always very helpful to get a guests view on their stay. We actually arrived the day after your departure so were able to follow up on your various comments. I hope Donna explained that the kitchen was flooded several times over a period of time from the upstairs flat washing machine and is in the hands of the Insurance companies which is taking for ever, we will be redecorating and replacing some of the cupboards as soon as we get the go ahead. The patio door door needed a squirt of silicon to get it sliding smoothly again. The general cleaning comments I will pass on to Donna - you are right it was a quick turn round and sounds like they weren’t able to be as thorough as normal and I apologise for that. We look forward to welcoming you back again.

Spacious appartment

Practical location. Spacious appartment. However, Much more noise from the street than anticipated. Two bathrooms and an extra toilet was though a positive surprise. The tiny bed (1,40 m) in the masters was though disappointing and gave us some sleepless nights. A King size could easily fit in the masters and is also what we had expected at This Price level. We had some Challenges with various things in the appartment, which the local handy man fixed really fast. That was nice. And overall a good experience.

Hi Sabine - thanks for writing a review. Just thought I should put you right on the bed size in the master, it is an English King size bed which converts to approximately 150cms x 200cms I wouldn't say is tiny, the room is large as you say. About street noise we are in a town, in the 20 years we have rented the apartment I think you are second person to mention it, as looking at the pictures you can see the location of the apartment and at night it really is not noisy. I am glad that your over all experience was good. Sarah

Bel appartement MAIS SANS PARKING

Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l’annonce, il n’y a pas de parking avec l’appartement. Donc il faut soit se garer en payant dans la rue (s’il reste des places à l’arrivée, soit aller à l’autre bout du port au parking gratuit - 10 minutes de marche). Comme c’était un de nos critères de choix de l’appartement, nous avons été très déçus à notre arrivée ! Et cela nous a fait perdre du temps pendant le séjour. Sinon, l’appartement est très agréable et spacieux. La cuisine est très bien équipée et il y a des produits d’épicerie dans les placards, comme à la maison. Le linge de maison est d’excellente qualité. Le balcon agréable avec sa vue sur le port. Nous avons apprécié que chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bains. L’appartement est bien chauffé (mois de février). Enfin, l’accueil de Donna est charmant.
