Amazing house and mountain view! Super close to the lake and Chimney Rock so very convenient. Susan was a great host and made check-in and check-out very easy. Would definitely stay again!

We went a family trip with our puppy, the cabin is so charming, we loved the decorations. The cabin is very clean and well equipped and the host was really nice. We had an amazing time in the game room, and outdoor seating around the firepit making smores. We will definitely come back.

Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Susan's cabin. Lake Lure is a beautiful town. We visited Chimney Rock State Park as well as Pisgah National Forest. There is so much to do nearby. The cabin was well stocked and felt very homey.

It was a wonderful property for our Sister Get-Away. The five of us had plenty of room to all be together in the living room and dining area. The bedrooms were very spacious and we each had our on bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and it’s all in good condition. The large deck looked out over a beautiful mountain range but we couldn’t spend much time there due to the bright sun so we enjoyed the views from the living room and its very large windows. We had wonderful weather there and that made it even more enjoyable.

Excellent Stay!

The property was exactly as listed. Beautiful home, had everything you would need, not far from grocery store. We had the most wonderful time. Would love to come back and would definitely recommend to others. Great community. Hostess was awesome!

Weekend getaway

We had a great long weekend getaway at this cabin. So relaxing and the couch was awesome for doing just that. My only complaint is we ran out of toilet paper and "bring your own" should be listed on the information prior to arrival. Beautiful views and very remote and quiet. The beds were very comfortable which is unusual when you stay overnight. I highly recommend to anyone to stay here if you love peace and quiet.

I am so glad you had a wonderful time at the cabin. Sorry about the toilet paper situation, but it is noted in paragraph 23 of the rental agreement: We provide a LIMITED SUPPLY of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, and trash bags. Personal items such as clothes detergent, shampoo, body wash, etc. are not supplied so please bring your own. We have an outside charcoal grill. You must supply your own charcoal and lighter fluid. As you suggested, I will be placing this information in the checking-in information page. Thank you so much!!

Weekend Away with Girlfriends

My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay. The house was absolutely beautiful and the views from the deck were breathtaking. The house accommodated our group of 9 very comfortably, and we were very pleased with how well outfitted the kitchen was in terms of pots/pans, plates, etc. The Riverbend community is beautiful and we appreciated the remoteness of the cabin within the community as well as the easy access to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Susan was great to work with and we look forward to renting from her again.

Sand Piper Cabin

Everyone enjoyed the openness and all 8 of us could converse at once. Beautiful property and I’m sure it will only get better with upgrades and improvements we observed. We had no issues except the gate guards were a little cranky because we didn’t always have gate passes. Only two passes and sometimes we went out in 4 vehicles. We had a great time and we really enjoyed the cabin. Very welcoming. Suggest adding night stands for those who have medical devices and no place for them.

Great house for a large family vacation. The house was very well laid out and accommodated all of us no problem. It is in a neighborhood type setting with gate access in and out. The roads inside the community are gravel/drit, just something to keep in mind. The small beach area with access to a lake was great inside the neighborhood. The house has all your essentials, and the host responded quickly to any issues.

Great Property

Loved the cabin and the view that it provided. Had planty of games in the cabin and plenty of kitchen items that were great to have. A few items looked like they were not cleaned from previous renters. Other than that cabin was really clean.

Mountain Paradise

The cabin has an amazing view on a private lot. Clean and comfortable beds. Kitchen with many small appliances and well stocked with dishes. The rental agent was quick to respond to our questions and needs.

Family Weekend

The cabin was just as described in the listing, great views and everything you need right there. It was a perfect distance to Lake Lure and chimney rock however do not to GPS from house, we waited until we got to the entrance otherwise it doubled the time taking us out the other side of the neighborhood.

Beautiful neighborhood

House was awesome and perfect for our family and dogs. The old watering hole and the beach were great close by spots to spend the day! Loved this trip!
