We've used this property on several occasions. The host Mario is very attentive, helpful and readily available from a WhatsApp message. The property itself is furnished and equipped with everything you need. The outside areas are great for sun bathing, relaxing and barbecuing. The location is great with just a 500 metre walk to the beach. If you like to walk you can be in town centre of Balestrate in about twelve minutes or in three minutes by car. Balestrate is a lovely seaside town with plenty of amenities, great restaurants and bars and the people are friendly and helpful. If you want to venture further you'll definitely need a car and we did our big shop at Lidl which is about fifteen minutes drive. If I had one negative to mention it would be the air conditioning, there is only one unit in the lounge and it is not adequate to cool the entire house, we've always struggled to ventilate or cool the house but this year I purchased a large electric fan and placed it on the bedside cabinet which did improve our sleep but still fell short of being comfortable. Overall I'd recommend this property and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

Good, but room for improvement............

The property was adequate for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. One thing I would say is due to the properties location make sure you hire a car as we had issues with our booked car and and was left without one, this made things rather difficult, for example shopping and going back and forth to the town. The sea is a short walk away which is great, behind the property there are woods and it is fantastic if you like the sounds of nature. The surroundings and environment are beautiful and this location allows you to have a nice, quiet, private and if you wish romantic vacation. The only thing I would suggest is a few things could be improved, for example, there was no ironing board, kitchen utensils are limited and the ones in place were of little use and although there was a barbecue in the garden there were no barbecue tools to cook with and we had to utilise the kitchen utensils. Our host Mario was very attentive and resolved any issues that arose, which were minimal, on one occasion we lost internet connection which he quickly got reconnected and on another occasion the neighbours alarm wouldn't stop ringing but he contacted the owners to switch it off. Lastly, having rented other properties and based on previous experiences, some simple items in place would improve the experience. I rented a house in Catania and the host had put a bottle of wine and water in the fridge, some local ice cream, a packet of biscuits, some local fruit and veg, a packet of pasta and sauce, there were condiments in the cupboards and all cleaning products and toilet rolls were in situ. We arrived at 2330, there was nothing in the house and all shops were closed, when you've travelled for hours to reach your destination these little things would have made a massive difference. Overall, we had a great holiday and I'd give this property four out of five stars!

Wir waren Ende September in der Villa Angela. Dies ist eine wunderbare Zeit, denn zu dieser Zeit sind nicht mehr viele Touristen da. Am Haus kann man schön draußen sitzen, entspannen und die Ruhe genießen. Zum Strand geht man durch einen kleinen Park zu Fuß. Balustrate ist mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen, dort bekommt man alles und kann abends auch Essengehen oder bummeln.

Résidence charmante et bien située pour visiter le nord-ouest de la Sicile

La maison est pratique et bien équipée. Le terrain en lisière de bois méditerranéen, son jardin d'arbuste et sa grande terrasse ombragée en font un lieu plein de charme et de tranquillité. Sa localisation, à mi chemin de Palerme et de la zone de Trapani, et non loin de Segesta, est pratique pour visiter le nord-ouest de la Sicile. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.

Casa come descritta dall'annuncio. Posizione tranquilla fuori dal paese, ma passando dal bosco in 200 mt si è in spiaggia. Attenzione sono 200 mt in discesa quindi poco agevole il ritorno se si hanno delle difficoltà di deambulazione. Aria condizionata...bisogna imparare a tenere aperte e chiuse le persiane ed a farla andare in modo adeguato, appena si muove un pò di vento, non serve assolutamente. Quest'anno faceva veramente caldo e in 16 notti siamo riusciti a consumare meno di 100 kwh. La consiglio a chi ama le vacanze in luoghi tranquilli ma nel contempo vicino al caos.

Verzorgd huisje met mooie tuin

Verzorgd en goed ingericht huisje met een mooie tuin. Handig om op het afgesloten domein parkeermogelijkheid te hebben. Goede uitvalsbasis om de westkust te verkennen. Minpuntje: de wifi was heel traag en de matras van het tweepersoonsbed is heel hard. Onnauwkeurigheden in de advertentie: er is geen bubbelbad en als je de airco wil gebruiken (wat wij niet deden) betaal je apart nog eens 0,40 euro per kWh.

Chaleur et bruit

La location dispose de toutes les commodités et présente bien, mais il n'y a pas d'isolation, ni phonique ni thermique. La climatisation ne permet pas de rafraîchir la maison et la maison vous restitue la nuit la chaleur de la journée. Impossible de dormir les fenêtres fermées. Sauf que la discothèque pas très loin elle vous empêche de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes. Bref nous avons très peu et très mal dormi pendant 1 semaine ce n'est pas du tout tranquille la nuit ! Ce que l'annonce ne dit pas c'est que l'eau provient d'un forage la pompe à sautée 2 fois et nous nous sommes retrouvés sans eau ! Même si le propriétaire intervient rapidement pour relancer la pompe ! On ne sait même pas si elle était potable car très odorante et très jaune. Les feux de la gaziniere ne sont pas réglés et il n'y a pas beaucoup de couverts. Le propriétaire ne parle pas un mot d'anglais ni de français. Nous n'avons eu aucun conseil de sa part. Grosse déception.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette propriété. La maison est très agréable et jardin magnifique. Situé près de la plage , on peut y aller à pieds . Il y a aussi beaucoup de visite a faire dans cette région. Domenico et son papa sont d'une grande gentillesse et très prévenants. Nous recommandons.

Très bonne semaine passée dans la propriété de Domenico, la maison est très propre, bien située , l'extérieur très agréable et il y a tout le confort nécessaire. A recommander !

Perfekte Anlage!

Das Apartment ist schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön und die grosse Terrasse einfach perfekt. Zum Strand geht es durch eine Parkanlage. Einfach top! Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und sofort erreichbar. Ein paar Sprachkenntnisse auf italienisch sind vom Vorteil. Da die Anlage in einem idyllischen Örtchen liegt, ist ein Auto empfehlenswert.

Toll gelegen

Schönes Ferienhaus auf tollem Grundstück. Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Zum Strand geht man zu Fuß etwa 5 Minuten durch einen Hain, der von den Einheimischen zum Grillen benutzt werden kann.Das Haus ist sehr sauber und bietet allen Komfort den man im Urlaub braucht.

Magnifique

Très jolie maison entièrement équipée, moderne et entretenue. Jardin clôturé, barbecue et douche à l'extérieur, véritable plus. Accès à la plage par un petit chemin à côté et accessible avec enfant en bas âge. Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et les propriétaires sont disponibles si nous avons besoin de quelque-chose. Balestrate est une station balnéaire agréable, familiale et animée. Elle est idéalement située pour visiter Erice, Trapani, Segeste, Palerme, Scopello, la réserve du Zingaro... Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille.

Een mooi huis, super liggging

Heerlijke vakantiewoning op loopafstand naar het strand, door een mooi park waar je kunt picknicken of bbqen. Hele vriendelijke eigenaars, bij eventuele problemen direct beschikbaar en wordt direct opgepakt. In ons geval problemen met de airco, ze waren vrijwel direct ter plaatsen om de nodige acties te ondernemen. Ligt niet ver van Palermo en mooi centraal gelegen om mooie plekjes op te zoeken. Wij hebben er van genoten, dankjewel 😊

Villa très bien située et très agréable à vivre

La villa est idéalement située pour aller à la plage et visiter les environs. Elle dispose de tout le confort. Seul petit bémol, la climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Nous avons ainsi passé une semaine très agréable en Sicile.

Perfekt!

Wir waren für 10 Tage in Domenicos Haus in Balestrate. Das Haus ist neu renoviert und absolut sauber gewesen. Das Grundstück ist riesig und sehr gepflegt. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit Domenico war absolut problemlos und er beantwortete unsere Fragen sofort. Persönlich kennengelernt haben wir ihn nicht,jedoch waren seine Eltern vor Ort,die uns sehr herzlich empfangen haben. Es waren sehr schöne Tage bei Domenico auf Sizilien!

De vraies vacances !

Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa du 30 juin au 7 juillet 2018. La maison a été récemment rénovée et offre d'excellentes prestations. Calme et proche de la mer. On accède à celle-ci en traversant un magnifique bosquet aménagé (barbecue, table...). La mer est splendide : sable fin et on a le pied vraiment très loin. Les propriétaires sont très sympatiques. Balestrate est une petite ville très agréable où l'on mange particulièrement bien. On recommande!!!
