Everything was perfect. Our hosts met us at the property and ensured we had everything we needed. The apartment was comfortable, large and spacious and in a perfect location. The views from the many windows were outstanding and the balcony was a wonderful extra for us. I would recommend to anyone visiting Perugia. Very much looking forward to returning soon.

This was an amazing stay. Our hosts started communicating with us before the stay and helped with directions and met us outside the apartment. The views are spectacular and the apartment is huge. So many great restaurants nearby and a wonderful coffee shop below the apartment. A perfect place to stay just outside the city center with groceries nearby as well. I cannot recommend this place enough and will tell anyone traveling to Perugia, especially first timers, that this is where you want to call home for your visit. Thank you so much Rubens and Luisa!!!

Great stay!

We had an amazing stay at the apartment. The views are incredible and the apartment is in a nice area of the town. Rubens and Luisa are great hosts. Definitely would recommend this place!

Every communication was clear, complete,concise and meaningful. They responded quickly when we needed to leave a day early and when we needed to find a pharmacy open on Sunday.When we lost our way they literally came and rescued us while pointing out useful landmarks. There was a helpful, large map of Perugia on the table...as well as some much appreciated fresh fruit. We wish every host was as thorough on check-in! They walked us through the use of the stove top, windows, washing machine and bathroom ventilation system. Instead of having to spend our vacation searching the Internet on how to use these things we were immediately at home".And the left the instructions manuals in a drawer.The view is amazing! When not looking one of the 7 plus large windows in the main area, there is a full and varied library to linger over.spacious, clean, relaxing.It is easy access to the historic area and only teo blocks from a lovely, quiet park. The neighborhood is filled with Neighbors and not frantic tourists.Before the end of the first of five days that me friend and I spent there, I started repeating, I have found the real Italy and a longing that I will return. Perugia is a relaxing, diverse gem

We had a wonderful stay here in the heart of historic Perugia. It was close to everything but at the same time a nice distance from the crowds and noisy tourist area. The apt was very large with spectacular views just as the listing states and shows. It had everything you would ever need with a fully stocked kitchen. Coffee, juice, water bottles, two types of biscuits and beautiful fresh oranges were stocked for our arrival. The hosts Ruebens and Luisa are very gracious with lots of tips about the area as well as the history. They live in an apt right upstairs and are available for any questions. You must be able to climb 50 stairs to stay here though as there is no lift. Highly recommend staying here if you visit the beautiful historic town of Perugia.

Beautiful views

Beautiful vistas from every window - just far enough from the tourist fray but very walkable to sites and whatever you need. Very comfy bed too. Not suitable if you can’t do stairs. The hosts were so helpful. Grazie Mille

A Fantastic Apartment with a Postcard View

Luisa and Rubens were fantastic hosts, meeting us at the train on arrival and checking us in to their apartment. Communication was fantastic, they went out of their way to be helpful at all times, it was like staying with friends. The apartment is in a great location in the historic centre, accessible to public transport and walkable within the old city. There are supermarkets, cafes and lovely restaurants very close by. Perugia is a very lovely city. We stayed for eight weeks and loved it.

A gem set in the heart of Italy.

An absolutely beautiful apartment with stunning views over the Tevere Valley towards Assisi. All rooms are comfortable and clean but you will spend most of your waking time in the main living room where there are windows on three sides. The balcony is large enough for a meal for two, and the kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to cook it. The hosts are fantastic, knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.

Luisa and Ruben couldn't have been a more helpful hosts. Luisa and I were in contact for months before my trip, quickly answering any questions or concerns. We met Ruben and Luisa at the check in, they introduced us to the apartment and offering recommendations for shopping, sightseeing, and dining. The apartment was perfect with fully equipped bath and kitchen. The views of the Umbria region were breathtaking from their living room balcony with the landscraping changing everyday. Perugia is ideal homebase for visiting the incredible hilltowns, the city center is a short walk from the apartment with many restaurants and bars. Comfortabling to know that they were close by if we had any issues with the apartment, we did not! Ruben and Luisa recommened the most wonderful driver. Filippo from Perugia Taxi drove us for three days to different hill towns in the region and to the airport on our day of departure. When our flight was delayed, he offered to come back to the airport to collect us if our flight was cancelled. Filippo was incredible punctual, kind and patient. I highly recommend Luisa and Rubens apartment and Filippo of Perguia Taxi for a flawless trip. Thank you!

Magnifique séjour

L'appartement est très beau, confortable et parfaitement situé. Les propriétaires sont formidables, d'une grande gentillesse et très accueillants. Nous avons passé un magnifique sejour dans cette superbe ville qu'est Perugia.

Ce fut un plaisir d'avoir accueilli pendant une semaine Lucie et Céline, deux jeunes filles parisiennes très sympathiques, curieuses et communicatives. Il a été facile de communiquer avec elles, avant, pendant et après leur séjour. Elles ont laissé la maison propre et bien rangée, ont respecté les règles et ont arrosé les plantes régulièrement. Nous espérons qu'elles reviendront nous rendre visite et nous les recommandons chaleureusement aux futurs hôtes

Perugia apartment

This apartment was everything we expected and more: pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped, with stunning views. The owners, Luisa and Rubens, went far beyond what we expected of owners, picking us up at the train station and returning us there at the end of our stay and even driving us to the Perugina factory for a tour. They both speak English, and they were lovely people.

Wonderful Perugia

Our hosts Rubens and Luisa are so kind and friendly. They picked us up at train station and helped bring our luggage to the apartment. The apartment is very spacious and the views from every room are amazing . A week was not long enough to see all the sights in the upper town. Thank you. We hope stay again in your apartment. Sehr schöne Wohnung in der Altstadt von Perugia

Wir hatten wunderbare 10 Tage in Perugia. Die Wohnung liegt ideal um mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Umbrien zu erkunden - der Busbahnhof ist zu Fuß und der Bahnhof mit der Minimetro sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir haben einige Tagesausflüge gemacht und uns jeden Abend wieder über die schöne Wohnung und die wirklich traumhafte Aussicht gefreut. Auch die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen... 5 Sterne!

Traumhafte Aussicht und tolle Gastgeber!

Das Appartment hat eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Stadt und die umbrische Landschaft. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, liebevoll eingerichtet und in der Küche gibt es alles, um selbst zu kochen. Von dem Appartment aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben in dieser Wohnung eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht und fürsorglichere Gastgeber als Rubens und Luisa kann man sich nicht wünschen- vielen, vielen Dank!

Excellent séjour à Pérouse

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Rubens et Louisa. Ils sont tous les deux chaleureux, disponibles et accueillants. L'appartement est magnifique, la vue splendide et il est de surcroît, très bien placé. Je recommande fortement cette destination pour découvrir la très belle ville de Pérouse

Great place for vacation in Umbria

A well-located apartment in the center of town with an easy walk to the historic areas. A well-equipped kitchen if you want to save some money by cooking your own breakfast or supper. A good supermarket nearby. Easily sleeps 4 and can manage 6 with a pull out bed. A fantastic view of the valley that leads to nearby Assisi. Near a key bus stop if y0u want to make some day trips to nearby towns like Orvieto. Rubens and his wife (the owners) live next door are available by phone for any questions that might arise and they provide a detailed guide in Italian and English with all you need to know about the apartment and the neighborhood.

Wonderful views in stylish apartment

The apartment is a short walk from the old centre of the city. It is in a quiet residential area. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped with wonderful views. It is one of the most attractive apartments I have stayed in. It is on the top floor up numerous steps and there is no lift, but we are both 60+ and had no difficulty at all. The bathrooms are well equipped although one has an odd elevated shower - but I used this without difficulty. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and with double glazing there was no noise and we slept well every night. There is a bar below the apartment, but this is not noisy and did not disturb us - they also do nice food and drink. There are a couple of places to eat nearby and a supermarket at the end of the road(this is easy to miss so do ask for directions). This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment and when I return to Perugia I will stay there again!
