Deseamos vengan a conocer esta villa, es una casa con todas las comodiades, para sentirse como en su propia casa, tiene de todo
Ideal para amigos o familias oompartiendo. Maximo 10 personas.
Todo se ve en las fotos, la villa por dentro y por fuera y los alredeores, tambien el mapa google muestra bien la ubicacion. Se ha tratado de pensar en todo para vuestra comodidad, si ncesitase algo mas durante su estadia, siempre estamos a su disposicion.

VILLA ROMO
Es una casa rural excepcional, muy espaciosa y privada, con mucho estilo ubicada en su propio terreno de Almendros y Olivos, con vistas que se extienden. La zona es tranquila y desde la terraza se puede apreciar Comares, bello pueblo que se luce impresionante en lo mas alto de la montaña, se puede llegar alli en aproximadamente 10 minutos conduciendo, Se encuentran alli tipicos bares/restaurantes. La casa es propicia para una familia grande o un grupo de amigos compartiendo. Las 4 habitaciones son de buen tamaño.
Construida en una sola planta, facilita el desplazamiento en ella a niños y personas mayores activas. AIRE ACONDICIONADO en el dormitorio principal. Ventiladores en las otras habitaciones y salon. WIFI gratuito.

Mascotas:
Los perros bien educados son aceptados.. maximo 2, menos de 25 kg Cobro extra 50 euros.
NO deben entrar a la piscina ni subir a los muebles.

Parking : Espacio hasta para 3 coches.

BBQ y un excelente horno en la terraza, para hacer pizzas. Pueden comprar carbon o lenha en la zona.;

Favor dejar BBQ y HORNO para pizza limpios antes de su partida!.

Tambien llevar toda la basura y botellas a los contenedores disponibles en varios puntos. gracias.

Villa Romo es una buena base para explorar otras zonas desde ella..

La casa y piscina son privadas. solo para el uso de las personas alquilando la casa.

La playa mas cercana es Torre del Mar y Caleta de Velez, .aproximadamente unos 30 minutos en coche

Lovely spot

A good value villa in a lovely spot. Remote location which is great as you dont have to worry about any neighbours but still not far from shop / bars and restaurants.

A truly wonderful spot

We travelled as 2 families, 5 adults 2 teens and a 5 yr old and there was more than enough space to accommodate us comfortably. All rooms were clean and of a very good size, master bedroom was huge, kitchen was great, very big with all mod cons. But it was the pool that took top honours, we had 8 in the pool at one time and it didn't feel a squeeze. I spent ages looking for the right pool as my daughter loves the water but is severely disabled but the stairs into pool made it easy for me to support her in and out. The other kids just loved it and literally they were in there at every opportunity 10/10 The location is very rural and in the 36°c heat just walking to the bin 70m away up the hill was challenging, so any idea we had about walking to the nearest cafe/shop was out, but having said that it didnt spoil our stay, we were 20 mins from the stunning Comares, 55mins from Nerja, 35 mins from Vélez-Málaga and 1hr from Benalmadena, given just how good villa was this was a drive i was willing to make, infact were already planning to come back. Honestly this was one of the best trips we've had, Carl was a very good host, with good communication and a very friendly laid back attitude.

Rest/Relax/Recharge

We stayed at Villa Romo for 10 days. The perfect place to get away and appreciate a slower pace and Spanish way of life. Carl & Maria were attentive throughout. Only snag was getting to the house on day one, as we were driving from Toledo. Managed to find the house before dark; a plus! The home is quite remote and it took us about 30 minutes to get there from the small town of Rio Gordo. (My advice is to buy groceries before you arrive.) We were very happy to get 'home' and unwind and not have to brave the roads again after dark. With that being said, after day 2 we became quite comfortable navigating the mountain roads and enjoyed the sweeping views and beautiful wild flowers around every bend! Who needs Ronda when you have the mountains of Axarquia? Didn't take as many day trips as planned, due to the location, about 4 days on, 5 days at home/local. May was the perfect time to visit; not too hot, and the spring fairs and festivals are still going on! The house is well appointed, with just about everything you need to cook a good meal and relax with your group around the pool. Loved the outdoor grill as well (sadly did not get the chance to use the wood-fired pizza oven).The water got very hot and the waterfall shower heads are wonderful. There are plenty of linens, towels, and patio chair pillows to go around. Fans in every bedroom, although this time of year we did not really need them. Carl was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the local goings on. Thank you!

Traumferien

Es war noch viel viel schöner, als die Fotos erwarten ließen. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, Erholung pur. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern hat gut geklappt; leider konnten wir sie nicht kennenlernen. Nica hat sie aber gut vertreten! Die kurvigen Sträßlein zur Finca sind allerdings nichts für ängstliche Autofahrer!

Vacaciones geniales

La casa está perfecta y muy bien equipada. Los propietarios son muy amables y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. Las carreteras de la zona son estrechas y con muchas curvas pero es normal al tratarse de una zona de serranía. Totalmente recomendado.

Genial

A la vivienda no le falta detalle. Tiene todo lo que se necesita. La zona de la piscina genial. Cuando llegamos el agua estaba algo turbia de los anteriores inquilinos, pero los propietarios enviaron a una persona para limpiarla y dejó el agua cristalina. Los propietarios muy amables, muy buena comunicación con ellos. Lo peor que vimos fue cuando nos teniamos que desplazar a otros municipios a hacer compra , el camino está lleno de curvas y cuestas. La playa más cercana está a casi 1 hora. En general, hemos estado genial. La recomendamos 100%>

Wonderful

Stayed for a week in July , we were a group of 8 with a young child . Villa was very clean and very well kept , with really comfy beds. The surroundings are very peaceful with beautiful sceneries , a place to disconnect from it all. Hosts Carl and Maria are really helpful too and respond quickly to any queries. Totally recommendable would definitely repeat the experience . Thank you , we had a wonderful time 😀.

Peaceful and tranquil villa near Comares

This is a lovely, spacious villa near Comares. The villa is well equipped and has a delightful pool and terrace area which are very well laid out. Carl and Maria are great hosts and very supportive and responsive. The villa represents very good value in rental terms. The roads can be a challenge if you are not used to them and you need to be organised on food shopping since the nearest good supernarket is 50 minutes round trip. The location is really peaceful and serene and we had a great 2 weeks enjoying the countryside and had lazy days by the pool as well as trips to Cordoba and Antequera (the latter only 50 minutes away). It takes about 50 minutes to get to Torre del Mar which is a great beach resort. During our stay, there was no hot water in the kitchen which it was not possible to fix whilst we were there, which was a bit inconvenient but overall, we had a great stay. Air con in master bedroom only and some of the bedroom fans could do with a bit of a clean. Our family had some great hikes nearby. Would thoroughly recommend to those wishing to see a different part of Andalucia, away from the crowds on the coast. Good restaurants nearby. Very accessible from Malaga airport.

Relaxing and tranquil week away

Lovely spacious traditional villa which had everything you needed for a relaxing week away. Bedrooms were spacious and massive family bath. Well equipped kitchen and good sized pool. 48 minutes to the beech and Comares 15 mins by car (7k). Couple of nice bars and restaurants serving good food in Ventorro, really friendly and only 10 mins away. Typical windy roads however the views and scenery are spectacular, make sure you have sat nav. Carl was a great host and special thanks

Ein Traum von Villa ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Carl ist ein super Gastgeber. Im Kühlschrank lag bei der Ankunft eine große Flasche Bier, eine Flasche Wein und einige zu essen. Die Villa liegt sehr schön und ruhig auf einem Hügel mit Palmen. DANKE CARL !!!!!

Trop loin des sites intéressants . Difficultés pour trouver la propriété.

Bonne location mais trop difficile d’accès . Les déplacements sont limités non par la distance mais par leur durée compte tenu des routes à emprunter

Beautiful villa, wonderful views!

We were looking for a quiet spot where we could enjoy our natural surroundings and Villa Romo provided just that! The villa was reasonably close to the lovely village of Comares, with several appealing restaurants. Maria is a gracious hostess and a wonderful guide to the area. Thank you for sharing your villa with us!

Lækkert hus med pool

Huset var perfekt til familieferie (to voksne par og to børn). Det eneste lille minus er, at der er langt at køre, af små snørklede bjergveje, lige meget hvor man skal hen. Udover det, var det helt perfekt til os. Og udlejeren, Sam, er flink 👍 Vi kunne sagtens finde på at leje igen.

Magnifique séjour au coeur de l'Andalousie

La maison est très belle et possède une jolie vue sur les alentours. Bien équipée et entretenue, nous avons profité de la piscine, du four extérieur, du barbecue etc.. Le village de comares est très joli a visiter, nous avons testé et approuvé les bars, commerces et restaurants ! Maria et Carl sont très accueillants et impliqués, ils sont pleins de bons conseils pour découvrir la région. Vivement recommandé

Super villa dans un endroit très calme et paisible!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette Villa. Le rapport qualité prix est optimum. L’équipement est complet (peut/être manque t’il une plancha et un sol) et la piscine bien entretenue. Le barbecue et le four à pizza avec une vue incroyable. Bref, que du positif. Carl & Maria sont aux petits soins et la communication/accueil étaient parfaits. Bref, je j’hésiterai pas à y retourner ou louer une autre Villa via Carl & Maria. 😎👌

We, Carl and Maria Cullimore, came to Comares in 1999 with the idea of buying a holiday home…and we are still here!
We continue to be thrilled by the views and beautiful, colourful landscape of Andalusia. The white washed village of Comares is both unique and unspoiled yet only an hour from Malaga. The perfect rural base to relax and explore.
La Paz, our finca meaning “peace” was renovated and a swimming pool was built on the hillside. We converted part of the farmhouse to a self contained studio overlooking the pool and our holiday rentals idea became a reality when we welcomed our first guests in 2002.
Our next project was Villa Romo, spacious accommodation with pool and popular with families. Friends owning properties locally and wishing to rent their villas for holidays have entrusted us with the keys and management responsibilities.
We are proud to showcase a small, quality selection of individual villas, beach houses, apartments and even a seaside Fisherman’s Cottage. We provide a professional, bespoke service which can include the rental marketing and maintenance of holiday properties in the Axarquia region of Andalusia.
