Spacious traditional Santa Fe adobe home

We are happy to offer this exceptional retreat in Santa Fe! With 7000 square feet of indoor space, this home is perfect for groups or families of up to 14 seeking a relaxed retreat in a quiet country setting.
Minutes from Santa Fe’s downtown plaza and galleries of Canyon road, this property sits on three acres in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just off the Veterans Memorial Highway Southwest of the Plaza in Santa Fe which also makes it convenient to the Santa Fe Opera, shopping and the Santa Fe Airport.
There are 5 bedrooms:
1.The Primary suite with a king bed, TV and a twin daybed (sleeps 3)
2.The zen room with a queen bed (sleeps 2)
3.The Mountain room with a queen bed (sleeps 2)
4.The Courtyard suite with its own full kitchen is one huge room with a king bed and a twin daybed. Includes TV(sleeps 3)
5.The Bunk room has 2 twin beds and queen pull down Murphy bed (sleeps 4)

The large living room is oriented around a kiva style fireplace. There is plenty of seating and a 75" television.
Dedicated dining room with seating for 12.
A well equipped and fully stocked kitchen with Viking range, warming oven, wine fridge and a granite island with additional seating.

Outdoor spaces include a year-round heated 50 ft.lap pool with electric cover. Covered porch with sectional seating and a large arbor-covered table which seats 14-perfect for dining al fresco. Enjoy the traditional Swedish sauna or relax in the hot tub with its soothing massage jets.

Owners Blake and Mitty live in the separated and private next door home. We are available if needed and would love to help better your experience if questions should come up, otherwise we provide your group with complete privacy.


This is a peaceful home in a quiet country setting, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. As such, we cannot accommodate weddings or other potentially loud parties.

Our family of 8 adults and 4 small children had a fabulous time at this gorgeous, clean, spacious home full of treasures with an amazing kitchen and pool/hot tub. There were numerous lovely spaces inside and out to spend time reading, playing games or just enjoying the beautiful scenery. It is the best rental we have ever stayed at, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Lovely place, spacious is an understatement as the home has something for everyone and somewhere for everyone to be together, or to find their own space to enjoy alone. Kitchen well stocked so you can prepare your own meals very easily. Pool was an absolute lifesaver in the late August heat.

An amazing stay for a large group. The layout of the home was perfect for both time together and time alone. The grounds are meticulously kept and the outdoor spaces create a relaxing environment with trees and comfortable seating throughout the property. Communication with the hosts was excellent. This was easily the nicest VRBO we have stayed at yet.

Great outdoor areas and we had toddlers so really appreciated the safety pool cover. Great art and furniture so it didn’t feel like so many sterile rental properties. Would stay there again, although I wish it was a little closer to Santa Fe.

Wonderful property

We had the most wonderful stay. The house was just perfect. The property and surrounding area were peaceful and beautiful. I really can’t say enough great things about staying here. It definitely became a special place for our group and I hope we can come back again soon.

Kitchens were really well stocked with pots, pans and dishware. Beds were super comfy and bedding was quite nice and clean. Pillows were wonderful. We did not have occasion to use the hot tub or the pool, but enjoyed a fire pit one evening. Views were spectacular.

A group of 12 women stayed at the house over a 4 day weekend. We had a fabulous time in Santa Fe and the house was the highlight. As one of the ladies said "it's like we are at a resort." The home and amenities were wonderful, check in was very easy and the hosts were easy to communicate with.

Awesome place to stay in Santa Fe

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property. It's such a great location with so many amenities - you don't even want to leave the property - but not far at all to drive into town. We've rented this for a girls trip and also for a couples trip and had a wonderful time with each group!

This is an astonishing property. Minutes outside of Santa Fe, but due to the amenities of the “Santa Fe Retreat”, you find yourself wanting to spend time there with the sauna, hot tub, lap pool and expansive outdoor spaces. The view of the mountains from the pool deck never grows old and the interior is done with great attention to detail.Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommended!

Great house and location

the house worked beautifully for a group of 8 people, adult friends traveling together. It has a great location and allowed for day trips hiking and exploring. It is appointed well, we cooked several times and totally enjoyed relaxing by the pool at the end of the day with the warm rays of the sun as the days are cooling off.

loved it. Beautifully appointed. Would use it again.

I did a mother/daughter trip and everyone loved the house and the property. Owners are super nice and accommodating. Very close to town but out enough that the stars at night are amazing. Property is very quiet also.

This home is gorgeous! Our family of 6 adults and 5 kids just enjoyed a wonderful vacation in this clean, comfortable and very spacious home. It is equipped with everything you would need. The communication with the owners was prompt and always willing to answer questions. This home is highly recommended if you plan a trip to Santa Fe!

Wonderful Pre Christmas Getaway

Retreat Santa fe is a beautiful traditional adobe home sitting in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from the central plaza of Santa fe. The Spaciousness of both the indoor and outdoor areas allow guests to spread out and relax while enjoying the company of friends and family. The pool area is often where guests spend most of their time napping and taking dips in the year round heated lap pool. the sky and mountain views will take your breath away and provide the perfect backdrop for your stay. Take a day trip to the plaza for excellent shopping and museums just ten minutes away. Hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and skiing are all close by. After a day of exploring all that our wonderful city has to offer, come relax in the hot tub and star gaze around the gas fire pit! Or have a cozy night indoors with a pinion fire in the kiva fireplace while watching a movie and playing games. Or challenge someone to a game of pool in the saloon style billiards room. This home truly has something for everyone!

The Home is large and laid out with quite a bit of space between sleeping areas, giving people the ability to spread out. It wraps around the pool area so that everyone has access to the outdoor amenities. There are many common areas to share with the other members of your party, but there are also plenty of private nooks to retreat for a quiet respite if needed. It is uniquely designed by the owners to inspire tranquility and creativity. We take great pride in providing our guests with a vacation home to facilitate amazing experiences.
