Dog Friendly Garden Home on Historic Huntingdon Street by Lucky Savannah

Nothing says Southern Comfort like enjoying the evening air with a glass of sweet tea on your front porch. Just a few blocks from Forsyth Park, this pet friendly home has everything you’ll need for a weekend getaway or longer, extended stay. This beautifully updated 1 bedroom home has a comfortable back porch, and all the amenities you need for a short stay or an extended vacation. This home features original hardwood floors, a huge bathroom with shower, and an amazing designer kitchen.

The large, modern living room has two French doors that let in plenty of natural light, and lead to the front porch. Decorated with local art, the large flat-screen TV is set upon an easel and can be seen from anywhere in the room. Pocket doors lead into the eat-in kitchen. The large island and stainless steel appliances make cooking a pleasure. Enjoy a quick meal at the breakfast bar or an intimate dinner at your private table for two. Just off the kitchen is the renovated full bath, which has a large vanity and a shower with a built-in seat.

The King bed is perfect for curling up in after a long day of exploring Savannah. The large closet provides plenty of space to unpack and settle in, and includes the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer.

- Our favorite local package store (Johnnie Ganem’s), national grocer (Kroger’s), and local caffeine spot (Mate Factor Cafe) are all within a 1 block walk.
- Southern Comfort is not only dog friendly, but one of the few rentals in Savannah with flexible pet size restrictions.

Non-metered Parking
This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

Excellent location; so close to the park and an easy walk or bike ride to many attractions and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nice.

Such a great amount of space on a beautiful historic block, walkable to several places. We enjoyed our time, dogs and toddler did too! The floors are creaky and the water pressure is low, but all expected with such an old home. One of our dogs was afraid of the floor, haha. The living room has amazing giant sliding doors which work perfectly for whomever sleeps on the pull out couch. The bedroom has an abundance of natural light. Loved the plantation shutters throughout. We really loved all of the historic detail throughout the house like the molding, the diamond window panes and the high ceilings. The back porch and courtyard were a favorite to all. Would visit again!

Great Location, Beautiful little house

The house is in a great location and many places are walkable. There is the most adorable and amazing coffee just on the corner a block down. We ride shared twice but other than that just walked everywhere.

Reasonable price due to location, conveniece and charm! We found parking easily on the street in September. Pictures are accurate when showing Southern Charm and spacious accomodations. It's 2 short blocks to Forsyth Park and to the free Dot bus system. We used the bus with ease, although it can run late so plan accordingly! Kroger grocery (with Starbucks) is around the corner for convenience for any supplies. Highly recommend this property.

Fabulous accommodation close to Forsyth Park

Location perfect. Close to Forsyth Park and a large supermarket. Kitchen could have done with a bit more ovenware but overall we loved our stay and would do it again.

Excellent space and location

Great location and the space was perfect for two people! Very nicely laid out, perfect outside seating area! Communication was ok, but a bit of a hiccup at check-in (maybe some on my side for not asking the right question) -but quickly resolved and overall was a wonderful stay and would certainly recommend!
