Giovanni met us at check in and showed us around the beautiful villa. He was very easy to communicate with throughout our stay and responded quickly to our needs. The information that Giovanni provided about the area and surrounding towns was very helpful as were his recommendations for a cooking class and dinner at the villa. The villa has the most beautiful views of the countryside and is nicely located between two small villages. Greve has a nice piazza with shops, bakeries and restaurants as well as a grvery store and pharmacy. We had a really nice stay.

This villa was superb! We loved our stay here and all 8 of us were very comfortable. Giovanni was an excellent host. He provided an excellent guide to the surrounding area. It was a peaceful country side location and we were able to see Tuscany, villages with ease. The restaurant up the street and winery were a bonus! Thank you!

The villa is quintessential Tuscany! The view is amazing, as is the pool and the cozy sitting areas and grounds.Giovanni was incredibly quick to communicate and respond to requests and also very helpful with suggestions, ie: drive to Florence (including where to park), rather than take the bus. There are a lot of stairs to navigate, both in and outside at the villa. Anyone with mobility issues may find this a drawback. There is also a fairly busy road (both vehicular and pedestrian) close to the back of the villa, but it was only a very minor annoyance. There was regular housekeeping, including a bedding change during our two-week stay.We cooked dinners "in" two nights and had a cook come in two nights. Kitchen supplies, except salt, pepper and any spices, were adequate.Overall, our stay was fabulous!

Amazing Villa

Great place to stay. View is amazing and the location is perfect. Villa felt like home while we were there and we have great memories.

Great property for a girls trip. Plenty of room for all of us and great outdoor eating area. Pool was lovely but VERY cold end of April. Inside of the house is fairly dark and dusty, but we were outside the majority of the time. It is a beautiful old house with lots of charm and character. Giovanni was very helpful to get us everything we needed to start our stay. Bring bottled water, coffee, and anything else you will want right away in the kitchen. Greve is a short drive (or very steep 15 min walk, so not ideal for a grocery run). Coop in greve is closed in the afternoons and all day on Sundays, I believe, so make sure you plan accordingly!

Classic Tuscan Villa in the heart of tuscany

Overall we had a great stay. The villa is in a great location with many restaurants and wineries close by. Grounds and view were fantastic and located in a very quiet area. The villa is a little dated on the inside, but delivers that classic charm and has plenty of space for a large group both inside and out.

Beautiful tranquil villa!

This villa, and the grounds, are absolutely spectacular! It is extremely well tended, well equipped and well managed. We enjoyed a wonderful week with our adult children & their partners and are hoping to return!

Beautiful Villa

The property is beautiful with lots of different areas to sit indoors and outdoors. We were a group of 8 friends and had a great time. Giovanni was very responsive and a great host.

Wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time with friends here. Giovanni took the time to get us settled in the villa and also gave us some very useful tips. The house was beautiful and we always felt at home. We would definitely come back for another summer vacation!

Great Pkace For Family Vacation

Nine family namers ranging in age from 19 to 79 spent 10 wonderful days at this Tuscan house. Everyone enjoyed their time. The owner Giovanni was very helpful and responsive. The housekeeping service was very good. We loved the views and all the amenities. The borgo of Montefioralle was a real delight. I recommend this place with enthusiasm.

Our family loved our stay at the Villa. The home and grounds were beautiful and better than the photos! The walk down to Greve was a bit steeper than we anticipated, but our multi age group was able to do it and made it back up. The pool was our reward!Giovanni was a wonderful host and answered questions promptly!We’d love to return again!

This place is a gem. It couldn’t be more beautiful. The location is excellent and we loved going into Greve, going wine tasting, and day trips to other cities. The pool was the huge hit though. There were five kids with us After spending a week in Rome, they really enjoyed it. Communication was great and Giovanni is an excellent host.

Week in Tuscany

We rented the Villa for a week in Tuscany, highlighted by many wine tastings and great meals. The Villa was excellent and was exactly as expected based on the listing. It was a very comfortable and beautiful home base for our group of 9 adults. Giovanni was easy to work with and the recommendations of restaurants and chefs to cook in the Villa were all excellent. I highly recommend the location .

Authentic Tuscan villa in fabulous location

Our family of 5 adults and two children ages 5 and 3 had a wonderful stay at this villa. We walked to both nearby towns, did a wine tasting, ate at restaurants in Greve, shopped at the Coop supermarket. We had a lovely barbecue at the villa one night and ate most of our meals outdoors. The swimming pool was a welcome respite from the late summer heat. Giovanni was an excellent host.

Perfect villa in Chianti region

The villa is beautiful, charming, elegantly furnished and decorated, lovingly maintained by owners and staff. The location is convenient to the small hilltop village of Montefioralle 2 minutes walk away as well as the larger Greve in Chianti with many stores, restaurants, bike, Vespa and car rental locations, a 10 minute walk away. The bird song and sunshine woke us up every morning. Such a relaxing place. We all loved it and hope to return some day. Grazie Giovanni and Andrea!

A shirt but wonderful stay

We loved our time at this villa. Giovanni was an attentive contact to ensure our visit was perfect. This home was within walking distance to the town of greve that had restaurants, shops and some food stores. The walk is steep but doable from the house. The home is comfortable with stunningly beautiful views of the Tuscan hills and vineyards from every window. My husband grilled one night and I cooked in the kitchen 2 nights- all necessary items were on site. We loved the pool, privacy and location of this villa. We hope to return someday soon!

Family reunion

Beautiful, charming , enchanting and authentic villa/ farmhouse . Many personal old antiques . Property is loved by one family and has a wonderful story and history . Truly a hidden treasure . Unforgettable Family Holiday

We were celebrating birthdays and a college graduation. It was exactly the right size and location. The swimming pool was a big hit from youngest to oldest. We walked into both the small ancient village and Greve in Chianti everyday. Giovanni is an excellent host and met our every need including recommending a lovely lady (Gaia) and her Mother who made our daily breakfast, farewell dinner and cooking class. Giovanni also graciously allowed us to store luggage @ his home the day before as our vehicle was too small when picked up our daughter at the airport…again very gracious and helpful :)

What a spectacular villa in Greve in Chianti! Our family of ten thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay. The view, setting and location were incredible. The property is very private, providing for a very peaceful and tranquil retreat, yet just a short walk to the picturesque town of Montefioralle with Greve in Chianti just a little farther away. It was wonderful to prepare our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen from fresh ingredients available in local markets in addition to enjoying incredible food and wine at nearby restaurants and wineries. The villa is beautiful with all of its authentic architecture and decor. The swimming pool was such a treat during the extremely hot days of our stay. The children absolutely loved the pool (as did the adults)! Everything inside and outside was meticulously maintained. The host was very thoughtful and helpful, assisting us with acquiring transportation and providing useful advice. We thoroughly loved our stay here and hope to return one day.

Perfect Location in Chianti

This was our 2nd stay at this villa. The location is perfect, with the top rated restaurant right up the street. The owner Giovanni is wonderful to work with. Our flight was delayed several hours, forcing us to arrive at 1am in the morning. Thank you Giovanni for your understanding, and buying enough groceries to get us started the first day. Our extended family (3 generations) included 4 adults and 2 children. The rooms in the villa easily accommodated our family. Because the villa is located between Florence and Siena, the opportunities for exploration, wine tasting, and food are incredible. The hit with the children ( 7 & 9 years old) was the large pool. They spent hours playing in it. Giovanni, my family and I hope to see you again in the future.

Truly Epic Villa!!

I will start out saying the listing doesn't do it justice... it was 3 times more beautiful then the already amazing pictures showed! Communication throughout the process was great and we felt very supported. Everything was very clean and in great condition. We had 10 ppl (4 kids 6 adults) and the ppl was amazing when it was 99 degrees! Combined with the AC in the sleeping rooms, temps were not an issue at all. Took advantage of the location for the easy walk up to Montefioralle and down the hill to Greve. Just something to note, walking to Greve takes ~10-15 minutes and it is a fairly steep hill. Wasn't a problem for us with kids, but if you were 75+ or have walking issues not sure it would be a great idea. We all loved the Villa more then words can express! Would stay there again in a heartbeat

A rare find of a villa you can walk to places

My family of 7 including a 18 months baby enjoyed our 5 night’s stay in Giovanni’s wonderful villa! The view of the property is stunning and beyond the website description. The outdoor space is amazing and well maintained. Its spacious and rustic interior is full of his family history. The location is unbeatable. we saved time and avoid the hassle of renting car by hiring car services for train and airport pick ups and drop offs and also 2 day trips to San Gimignano, Siena; Montalcino, Pienza and Montelpuciano. There is a charming restaurant just 5 minutes away. Also there are restaurants and grocery stores in nearby town on foot in 20 minutes. Both my husband and I are near 70 and did the walking with no issues. The kitchen utensils are well stocked, remember to bring oil, salt, pepper and any basic ingredients if you want to cook. We hired Gaia and her mother to cook dinners for us for 2 nights, and professional chef Alessio for Easter dinner. How wonderful it is to have a delicious meal waiting for us after a day’s trip. They are all lovely people and cooked very well! Owner Giovanni is easy to communicate and he usually responds in minutes!
