A truly beautiful house with lots of character in a quiet setting. You discover new details every day and enjoy spending time around the house and by the pool. Many of the region's attractions are within easy reach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

An absolute paradise! Stunningly beautiful mill and location, surrounded by vineyard/olive and fig trees, and beautiful hill top villages in all directions within a very short drive. We felt hugely grateful to be able to enjoy this magical place for a week. So well revovated/converted, with a wonderful pool which was hugely refreshing in very hot weather, and extemely well equipped. Easily the nicest place we've ever stayed - absolutely idyllic!

Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub perfekt zum Entspannen: Wunderschönes Ambiente mit dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Mühle, ganz viel Ruhe, keine direkten Nachbarn, alles sehr sauber. Um zu entspannen, mal abzuschalten ist es perfekt. Wer nach viel Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Eine sehr besondere Location in der Provence

Wir hatten 2 sehr schöne Wochen in der Mühle, die inmitten der Natur zwischen Gordes und Goult mit großartigem Blick auf den Luberon liegt. Viele schöne kleine Dörfer wie Goult, Bonnieux und Lacoste und der Ockersteinbruch bei Roussillon sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Mühle selbst ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, in jedem Zimmer sind viele Antiquitäten zu finden. Auch die Einrichtung selbst ist hauptsächlich antik. Vom Eingang kommt man in die Küche, an die links ein Badezimmer angrenzt. Rechts kommt man durch das Wohn-/Esszimmer (von dem es in die oberen Stockwerke geht) in ein Schlafzimmer und dahinter befindet sich ein weiteres Schlafzimmer. Dort geht es durch einen Innenhof zum zweiten Bad und nach hinten zur tollen Außenküche und zum großen Pool (der keine Treppe oder Leiter besitzt). Über eine Außentreppe gelangt man zur oberen Terrasse und dem Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und von dort ins oberste Stockwerk mit Einzelbett und sichtbarem Mahlwerk. Rings um die Mühle gibt es viele verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten. Im großen Vorgarten blühte sogar schon das kleine Lavendelfeld.Die Kommunikation mit Marion und Julie war super!Wir können einen Besuch sehr empfehlen.

"Unsere" Mühle ein Traum!!

Wir haben die Mühle mit ihrer ruhigen Umgebung sehr genossen!! Diverse bekannte Dörfer sind nach kurzer Fahrt erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Mühle hat uns sehr gefallen. Tolles Ambiente, super Aussicht, schöner Pool. Also es lässt sich mehr als aushalten. Wir haben auch Goult als Ort entdeckt. Der Kontakt mit Julie und Marion ist super abgelaufen. Wir würden die Mühle wieder mieten.

Endroit magique

Atypique et exceptionnel, le moulin est un ravissement pour les yeux et le coeur. On ne peut rester indifférent à l'atmosphère qui s'y dégage. Le charme opère indéniablement dans le moulin dont l'authenticité a été préservée avec beaucoup de goût et amour. Chaque endroit, chaque objet racontent une histoire. Ne cherchez plus, le paradis sur terre est ici ! Un grand merci à Julie et M.Vallauri pour leur gentillesse à notre égard.

Pure Province

With Covid we had pushed back our holiday twice but finally made it to this beautiful property and location. The windmill looked great on the website but exceeded our expectations when experienced in real life. We had a fantastic time and would love to return.

Great Place to Relax in Provence

The windmill is beautifully renovated and has a picturesque setting -- it is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Located outside of the small town of Goult (which has several good restaurants as well as basic French shops -- bakery etc.), it is a good base for seeing much of provence. Also, it is a great place just to hang out and relax. The pool is small but sufficient for cooling off and for kids to play in and provides an excellent place to enjoy the setting. There are a couple of different places outside to eat meals with excellent views -- grilling dinner is to be recommended (the kitchen is small but well-equipped). Because it is a renovated windmill there are some quirks, the rooms are oddly shaped and some ceilings are low. Cell phone and internet signals struggle with the stone walls. But it really is a great place for a family or perhaps two couples to stay.

Terrific vacation-stay in a terrific vacation area

The beautifully converted mill is a great place for a family vacation-stay. We happened to pick a really hot period, but the rustic and authentic stone walls ensured the temperature inside stayed very comfortable. We also enjoyed the nice pool. In the evening we would sit outside in the elevated seating area sipping wine from the Luberon region, playing cards and enjoying the light from the setting son and later a few candles. With Goult, Gordes and other beautiful old towns within short driving distance, not to mention the many wineries, there was always something to do. I hope we will find our way back to the mill soon. This will always be one of my favorite places

MAGIQUE

Séjour magique Dans un cadre de rêve ! Moulin magnifiquement rénové, chaque pièce raconte une histoire… la sieste sous le toit… Que du bonheur ! Le jardin, La Fontaine, la piscine, au milieu des vignes, des oliviers et des lavandes : tout est réuni pour se reposer et se ressourcer ! Merci à l’accueil de Julie et de toute sa petite famille, plein de chaleur et d’émotion pendant la visite des lieux. Nous n’avons qu’une envie : revenir dès que possible !

Séjour de rêve dans un cadre extraordinaire. Très belles prestations, le moulin est rénové avec beaucoup de gout et de raffinement. Julie est toujours disponible et répond rapidement à toutes les questions. On y retourne dès que possible.

Un magnifique cocon

Moulin rénové avec beaucoup de goût et respect d'authenticité . Au calme sans être isolé. A mon avis idéal de 2 a 4 personnes même si couchage pour plus. Vraiment magique comme endroit. Accueil sur place également parfait. Bonne adresses de restauration autour...bref.. tres content de notre séjour !

Très belles prestations

Un séjour à deux couples extrêmement agréable. Hébergement insolite de très belle qualité. La cuisine extérieure près de la piscine est très bien équipée et très agréable. Et que dire de la region ! Très belle découverte.

Fantastic!

The location is wonderful. The windmill is between Gordes and Gault with easy access to many interesting villages and sites. Plus, there are excellent views of the Luberon Valley from many points, including an upper patio. The windmill is lovely--very charming and well equipped. It has been restored and attractively furnished, creating a nice mix of comfortable abode and idyllic landmark. The kitchen is well equipped, and we often cooked at home. The pool was perfect after a hot day of sightseeing, and there is a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. Our communication with the property owners was excellent.

Perfect holiday in perfect location

A beautiful property in the most amazing location, right in the heart of the Luberon - a stones throw from all the most famous villages... Gordes, Rousillon, Lacoste, Bonneuix. We loved our 2 week stay. The mill is perfect for couples or small families. Beautifully decorated, well equipped. The pool area with outside kitchen is amazing. If anything the photos don't do this property justice.

INOUBLIABLE

Nous recommandons vivement cette location qui est située dans un cadre très agréable. Accueil très sympathique. Location très bien entretenue avec le maximum de confort et très tranquille. Nous reviendrons car nous avons été conquis par les lieux et leur propriétaires. Je précise qu'il est très rare de trouver des locations aussi bien tenues. Bon je n'en dis pas plus sinon l'année prochaine, nous n'aurons plus de place !!!!

Wir würden diesen wunderbaren Ort nie weiterempfehlen, da wir selber die Möglichkeit haben möchten zu jeder Zeit wieder dorthin zurückzukehren ;-)

Tres joli moulin et belle regio

Moulin plein de charme Pas tres grand cependant car tt en hauteur. Parfait pour un couple avec enfants mais pas forcement evident a 2 couples car pieces en enfilade (chambres). A noter pas de rideau dans une chambre.

Merci de vos commentaires.Concernant les rideaux, nous l'avions fait ainsi afin de garder la vue sur les ailes du moulin. Mais nous en avons installé depuis, pour les locataires désirant dormir sans clarté. Pour la surface, celui ci fait 110 Mètres carré et chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bain avec une entrée privée. Il y a deux chambres supplémentaires dans le donjon.
