A beautiful house, situated in a wonderful area. Breathtaking views and plenty of interesting places to explore. The house is spacious and tastefully furnished. The photos on the website do not fully capture its charm or its size, which is much larger than it appears. An ideal place for two generations, or even three, as we spent an unforgettable first holiday there with our five-month-old granddaughter.And most importantly, the hosts. A lovely couple who looked after us from the very first day. Claude and Francine, thank you so much for a wonderful stay and for sharing the history of your beautiful estate with us. A bottle of wine from your vineyard is waiting for a special occasion.

We had an excellent stay at this charming and sophisticated property. As other reviewers have noted, the location is fabulous for exploring the area of the Loire near Amboise. The house is a beautifully renovated historic outbuilding on a large estate; the property was very well equipped with thoughtful attention given to every detail. But most importantly, the owners are exceptional hosts, and they went "over and above" to ensure that we had a satisfying and comfortable stay. We highly recommend this lovely home in a stunning location.

a fantastic property, which lived up to the advert! beautiful house in an amazing location, the standard of the fit out and facilities are first class. the hosts are very helpful. we had a fantastic break.Clos de Venise is ideally located for the Chateaus and vinyards. My daughter and her husband loved the Aquarium and the zoo.

Amazing property in a vineyard. Francine and Claude are very welcoming and friendly. They gave lots of helpful suggestions for activities. The cottage has everything you need, great kitchen, bedroom and living spaces. We stayed for five nights and it was not enough. I look forward to staying again sometime! Wonderful stay in a luxurious beautiful property. Very well equipped As others have said, the photos don’t do it justice. Francine and Claude are so charming and welcoming, always available if needed. We loved the tomatoes from the garden, the flowers and jam, thank you Jacky! And of course the wine. Great area for cycling, and lots to see and do within less than an hour. Highly recommend.

Fantastic spot to see the Loire

Claude and Francine were wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome and being helpful. The house is beautiful, well furnished and comfortable. It is even better than the photos suggest. We stayed during a very hot week and the house stayed wonderfully cool throughout.

Beautifully restored house with high-end equipment

We spent a wonderful week in Clos de Venise. The house is perfectly located for exploring the region. The surrounding of the house with its garden and the vineyard is exceptional! The owners are very welcoming but not intrusive at all.

Loire at its Finest

I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in the Loire for a family of 4. The house is a perfect mix historic but with modern updates. Very comfortable and well appointed. The design decisions were thoughtfully made. Beautiful windows and doors and amazing views. Claude and Francine were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. It was the highlight of our trip to France.

A Haven in the Loire Valley

Clos de Venise is a truly lovely place to stay in the glorious Loire Valley. The house is warm - very important in December - very comfortable, beautifully appointed and located in a fabulous location. Claude and Francine are tremendous hosts - warm, friendly, welcoming and keen to help us enjoy our holiday. We spent a happy relaxing time here and visited a few of the enchanting Chateaus in the region.

Week in Noizay with friends and family

The property was ideal for our trip - bigger than it appears on the photos, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The garden was a delightful place to relax and our hosts were friendly and welcoming but not at all intrusive. The location of the property was excellent with two restaurants and a small shop within walking distance. There is also lots to discover in the wider area - gardens, chateaux, markets and restaurants....

Sejour merveilleux dans la Loire

If it had been possible to stay longer, then this would have been great. It is the best holiday location ever. The place was impeccable, very friendly welcome, accessible yet respectful of our privacy. Fresh vegetables from the garden, even suggestions for recipes and it was just delightful! And great views from the house and garden unto the valley!

Perfect for a family holiday!

Francine and Claude were perfect hosts, even providing toys for our 3 and 5 year old. They knew we would be hosting a family dinner for the holidays with family who lived nearby and provided us with all the necessary tableware. They even decorated! The property is gorgeous and a short ride from Tours. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay, it was above and beyond expectations!

A wonderful week

A beautiful home in a great location, made even better by the hosts who did everything they could to welcome us, including going out of their way to fit stair gates for our toddlers. The pictures don’t do the place justice as little things like top quality appliances really set it apart from other properties we have stayed at.

Historic property

It was a privilege to stay at the clos. The property is a beautifully managed winery and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. They live on the estate and graciously share their knowlege. Our only suggestions would be some fans or dehumidifier for use when it is very hot. While the home stays cool if the doors are closed, it also gets damp since it is stone. Many thanks to Claude and Francine for their hospitality.

Absolutely fantastic holiday!

We stayed here in the beginning July and at arrival were greeted by the very frendly hosts. As we entered the accomodation we noticed that the house is even more beautiful than expected from the pictures: spatious, beutifully renovated and furnished. We enjoyed every morning breakfast outside on the terras and every evening also with some wine and snacks. What a vacation! We will definitely return...

Everything was fabulous! Great, friendly and welcoming hosts, and perfect setting for a relaxing week in the Loire. Thank you so much Claude and Francine for welcoming us to your home so generously. Great location for exploring the Loire valley, main challenge was pulling ourselves away from the patio view every morning. House was perfect, with everything you could possibly need! Thank you!

Exceptional in every sense

Our stay was more than we could ever imagine! We appreciated everything from Claude and Francine’s warm hospitality to staying in a newly renovated cottage situated in a vineyard (yes, just like in a movie!), and central to all the attractions you visit the region for. The clarity of communication during reservation, prior to our arrival and throughout our stay was exemplary. We felt we visited a family, and are planning to return soon. Many thanks!

Lovely vineyard house close to Vouvray

This is a brilliant property. It’s an old vineyard house, stylishly converted and very well equipped. The description and photos are accurate. There is a lovely garden in front with chairs and loungers, which sadly we were unable to use because of the persistent rain. Claude and Francine are the best of hosts, welcoming, friendly but discreet. All in all, a great choice for a week in the Loire Valley
