Beds could be more comfortable. We had to switch beds like Goldilocks because the mattresses were on the hard side, overall. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the proximity to everything we were doing in the area. Host was quick to respond to any questions and very kind.

Owner is very nice and accommodating, easily reachable My only recommendation would be to get ironing boards there were irons but no boards to iron on.

We 10 family member stayed for 5 nights at this awesome house. We had 15 passengers van parked in front of the garage and it's so convenient in and out quickly so we spent more time to visit. Host is incredible he always prompt reply from him. It's prime location, we stayed in NJ previously but those were not this close to NYC. This property is really 15 minutes from all preferred locations in NYC and NJ. Had a wonderful stay. Thank you. We will definitely stay again in future.

Great Stay

Great place near NYC to stay for our family of six. Clean, well-appointed and safe apartment. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We had a great time and would stay again if ever in the area!

Good area to travel to New York and good food areas

Many owners give me a 5 or 10% discount since Im Disabled Veteran thanks a good gift for use.

Close to 80

Good location for access to NYC. Safe neighborhood. Not fancy, but satisfactory for our needs. (Be sure to see Falls if you stay! Worth a trip into town!)

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to the bus stop to go to NewYork. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils that we needed. Quiet neighborhood.

May 2023 Stay

We had two families stay here. The kids had a blast. The home smelled so clean when we arrived. Amazing pillows. Short trip to American Dream Mall and the host provided easy directions for a day trip to New York!

Great Family Home

Perfect for a family. It had all your necessities for a baby, children and family. Not too far from NY. The house was clean. Check in & check out was smooth. Communication before, during & after our stay was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you again!

We stayed in the upstairs apartment space. It fit our needs well. It was easy to get in and out of NYC for day trips. The house was clean and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Although we didn’t bring our two year old with us this time, we loved that all of the baby items were easily available in the house. I did make a huge mistake and booked it for the wrong weekend and didn’t notice until the last minute. Luckily the house was available and Giuseppe was very kind and helpful.

The stay was great! The location is super convenient—just 15 minutes from NYC and close to the American Dream Mall. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath setup was spacious and comfortable, and the place was clean and well-maintained. However, the listing mentions a "free washer & dryer," but that wasn’t the case. It would be helpful if that detail were clarified in the listing. Otherwise, everything else was as expected, and I would recommend it!

Walk Barefoot on Hardwood Floors

We enjoyed our stay at Giuseppe's place. We thoroughly used every aspect of the home with no major issues. The location was central to the touring we did within 3 days between the city and upstate NY. In particular, it was nice to be able to go barefoot on the floors because they were clean and hardwood, no carpet. The kitchen supplies may need to be checked as there were a few missing items, such as no cookie sheet and only 8 dinner plates.

Nice

The place was nice overall but the neighborhood was old and run down. Hot water temperature was so hot it could scald you. One of the beds broke the first night but was fixed the very next day but still squeaked. Everything we needed was there and we had plenty of room. Take note that this is a second floor walk up in case anyone has trouble with stairs.

As far as you saying the neighborhood is old and run down I think what you mean it’s an older neighborhood meaning the homes are older but well kept. Our home happens to be a newer one. Also bed was fixed right away. As a owner I take my rental very serious and am here very prompt if any issue may arise as we did with you.

Pros and Cons

Review of our stay in Paterson, NJ. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed in, but it also wasn’t the best. Here’s a list of pros and cons. Pros The area was nice and did meet out needs as far as accommodations and close to attractions. Owner allowed us to check in early. Mattresses had mattress covers. Some kitchen appliances were furnished. The house was clean on the surface. Tv’s are located in the living room as well in each bedroom. High chair, booster and playpen available in the unit. Central Air was definitely a plus. WIFI code provided. Cons Shower heads were filthy and had to be cleaned. 2nd bathroom drain is clogged up with hair. Need more cooking pans, small spoons, mixing bowls, hand mixer, extra paper towels and toilet paper. Pot holders needed in the kitchen. Gas stove was not working properly, It had to be lit with lighter and had a strong gas smell. Outdoor chairs on patio would have been nice. Hot water gets extremely hot. Mold located in the 1st bathroom ceiling. Tenants living in bottom apartment using the driveway parking space. In the kitchen and bathroom, everything was constantly wet. Balcony not secure or sturdy. Gas stove is not kid friendly. Sofas was a bit small and unable to accommodate all 8 of us. Beds were extremely squeaky and loud in the master. Loud gun shots or fire works every night.

The place was clean and tidy. Great to have two full bathrooms with showers for 4 people and full size refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. The bedroom closest to the kitchen seemed to have a kitty litter smell but my friend was able to sleep through it. The bed closest to the bathroom in the main bedroom had uncomfortable pillows. Would have been nice to have: more towels, coffee for the coffee maker, and 2 sets of keys with labels for which lock it opens. Quick's Food store at 355 E Railway Ave was our go to for all meals. It was safe at night when we had to grab a late meal. Quick's has a security guard at night.

Comfortable place to stay!

We recently stayed here as a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The location was safe and near grocery stores and dining and takeout options. Overall a very pleasant stay!
