Fantastic holiday gite, great location, quiet and peaceful. The gite is the gatehouse to a large house with parkland, beautifully kept and wonderful to explore. The private garden is secluded, there is no fence to 1 side into the parkland, but the owners provided a temporary fence and our dogs were happy on long lines. The garden is a lovely spot for evening drinks and bbq.Pool is wonderful and again very secluded. A nice surprise was the boule area in the grounds, surrounded by pear trees! Plenty of gorgeous walks from the parkland and surrounding village. Amazing restaurant in walking distance. Would highly recommend this wonderful place!

Great property and location

Love the location close to Arras and all major tourist things to do , the house is great and the park beautiful we did not have a chance to try the pool because it was not filled with water even if the temperature was over 29 Celsius

Definite home awaw

Florence was a wonderful hostess. We have rented many gites in France, but this was by far the best yet. Lovely grounds, hospitable owners, and comfortable accommodations all contributed to our visit. I highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Motor bike holiday

Had a lovely stay with friends and my partner . The host could not be more helpful. We sent cases there before hand and sending back with help from the host. The accommodation was clean and good. The grounds and pool were clean and amazing and you were free to walk around very secluded. Near Arras 10 mins drive away. Would recommend for friends and families also . A top class stay.

Comfortable stay in adorable gite

We had a very nice stay in Florence's lovely gite. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs each with a queen bed and 4 twins upstairs which was perfect for us. The kitchen is well appointed, we lacked for nothing. Florence's sons even brought over a soccer ball for my boys to use. The grounds are very nice. The next village (about 3 min drive) has a boulangerie and small grocery. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage with 5 star host

We had a great week in this lovely cottage. We had everything in the cottage to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, all of this while staying in beautiful surroundings. Our boys loved the big garden and made good use of all the space by playing rugby outside! There was lots to do in the area, we visited some of the battlefield memorials and even drove to Ypres to watch the Menin Gate ceremony. We also managed some lovely walks in the area. The best thing about this cottage is the host, Florence and her family. Florence went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Overall a lovely cottage in beatiful surroundings with a superb host!

Insgesamt also durchaus empfehlenswert!

This was a fantastic gite. Everything we could possibly want was there. It was clean and well situated for exploring this area of France as well as parts of Belgium. We would highly recommend it.

Perfect peace in Hautes-de-France.

We had a wonderful few days staying in this quiet, comfortable, spacious cottage while visiting local WWI sites. Florence generously provided everything that we needed, and even stocked the fridge with tasty local products! We would have loved to spend more time "at home" in the cottage and exploring the historic grounds and village. We are left hoping that we can return for a longer stay.

Very Hard to Leave

Highlight of our stay in France. We particularly enjoyed sense of place. This is an historic estate with all the charm and mystic of Normandy. The grounds are caught in a time warp circa 1900. The residence was totally equipped to support a long and comfortable stay. Three days was too short. We look forward to returning.
