A cosy, comfortable, quiet property with all you need for a restful, relaxing stay. Much to explore in the area and particularly accessible for Chatsworth House. Plenty of places to eat in the village but also well provided for cooking 'at home.

Lovely immaculate homely cottage perfect for our short break over the bank holiday. Liz was very helpful and the level of information shared was excellent. Sweet touches with biscuits, tea, coffee and milk- all very appreciated. We would definitely recommend Cosy Cottage and Baslow. A very welcoming and charming village.

Lovely cottage ideally placed, both within the village for walking to the local pubs & restaurants and within the local area. Walks from the cottage either to the hills and crags around or gentler walks towards Chatsworth were on our doorstep!Access details were clear and although there is no immediate parking it was no trouble to pull into the lane to unload and load and then park round the corner.Everything was clean and it fitted the description on the website.The steep stairs were a bit of a challenge at our age but overall a lovely, well appointed cottage.

The cottage is small but adequate for 2 people. Stairs to the bedroom are narrow and steep. A little bit challenging to bring suitcases to 2nd floor. Great central location, very quiet at night

Small and cosy, with ingenious use of space. Very clean and very well equipped, we took stuff that we didn't need to take eg cafetière and hair dryer.Close to post office and COOP suoermarket. Good choice of eating places.Quiet ad peaceful, lovely village great walks and scenery.One note of caution, the stairs are very steep and a less mobile person might struggle, especially with luggage in hand.Overall a cracking stay, we'll be back.

Cosy Corner Cottage was a perfect base for our visit toChristmas at Chatsworth. The cottage was very cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if we’re visiting the area.

I have always loved the Peak District and having lived and studied in Buxton in my younger years exploring Derbyshire with my family and friends was fantastic whether walking Kinder Scout, cycling or a picnic by a stream.
When I first walked into Hanover Buildings in Baslow a few years ago I fell in love with the petiteness and position of the cottage and decided on the name
'Cosy Corner' for my new
adventure !
I always enjoy the little subtle touches I can make during the year and hope that you will love your stay too ! 😊

If you enjoy walking 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️ ,exploring, bike riding 🚲 ,wild swimming or even caving Cosy Corner has so many options on its doorstep.

A stroll to the Chatsworth Estate,a picnic by the river,a visit to Bakewell market,the old plague village of Eyam, Haddon Hall used as a filming location for "Jane Eyre," and "Pride and Prejudice,"
Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall atmospheric Christmas markets are fabulous too!
Or
Do you prefer to relax, read and enjoy good food ? Only a few minutes walk away are a choice of fabulous restaurants and pubs offering delicious food and local beverages.
With a quiet cottage to come back to a lovely peaceful morning in bed is always an option ! 😊

Cosy Corner is part of an old chapel. It is small ,warm and peaceful.
Outside through a gate Cosy Corner has a seating area for your afternoon tea.
Walking is literally on the doorstep to Chatsworth Estate or The Edges.
A car is not necessary if you prefer to relax locally.
My priority is for you to enjoy a wonderful stay in the cottage that I love and hope you do too!
