A truly superb property. Beautifully clean and very well equipped with the added luxury of a fabulous hot tub. Kate and James are great hosts and whilst the lodge is on the farm it has its own drive and private garden. The perfect base to explore the area and come and relax in after a long day. We are planning our next trip already.

Perfect getaway for new year

The lodge is beautiful, warm and cosy, we relaxed well and really enjoyed our stay, beds so comfy and lodge was very clean and decorated lovely. Highly recommended a visit to this lodge. Our hosts were great too, thank you

Fantastic stay!

We’ve just spent the past week in Cedar Lodge, and had a fantastic week. Cedar Lodge is a fantastic place to stay with a family. We have two young children and they loved it too. Great hosts, great location, everything you could need in a holiday home… including a hot tub and a bbq!

Great little hideaway in good location

Lovely house in a great location. Lots of room, nice BBQ an hot tub outside. Chickens, playing space for the kids and great hosts

A lovely break away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean. We loved the hot tub and the boys enjoyed the outside space.

Wonderful peaceful stay

A perfect modern cottage surrounded by farm fields, excellently appointed. We were staying for a family reunion nearby and the Lodge was ideal for starting and ending our days and breaks along the way. Comfortable, quiet and welcoming.

The perfect place to relax

We stayed for three nights over the new year, a lovely way to relax and enjoy some downtime after the madness of Christmas. Everything about the lodge was top notch. We will definitely be back.

Stunning Lodge, loved every minuet!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend this property highly enough!Our hosts, Kate & James, were amazing from start to finish. The property completely exceeded our expectations and has such a beautiful, modern feel, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The open-plan living space is stylish and welcoming, and having two en-suite bedrooms was a real bonus.The hot tub and private garden space were fantastic, with the large sliding doors opening directly onto the patio and garden — perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. The location is wonderfully quiet and tranquil, making it incredibly easy to switch off and relax.We were given the loveliest welcome on arrival, with Prosecco, chocolates and fresh milk waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch, and throughout the property you can see how much care and attention has gone into all the finishing touches.Everything was spotlessly presented, beautifully thought out and clearly designed with guests in mind. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay.Thank you, Kate & James — we will definitely be staying again! Highly recommended.

Excellent Stay in Somerset

Very Clean and well maintained. Plenty of Room in the Property and Hot Tub was spot on. 15 Mins walk from Excellent Pub with Quality food. Recommended !

A weeks stay

Property was lovely in a nice quiet area, hosts were also very friendly and accommodating. Would definately recommend staying there to friends and family and would definately stay there again. 10 out of 10

Wonderful time

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is as wonderful as described and shown on the photos. A good place to relax: very good beds, cosy sofas and a veeeery nice hot tub:-) and a good place to start a nice tour to discover Somerset, Devon, Dorset or even Cornwall or the Cotswolds. Very nice hosts, too! We‘d love to come back and stay even longer!

Absolutely Stunning.

Totally fabulous weekend break, luxury accommodation and is a credit to owners Kate & James, wonderful accommodating people. The location is simply stunning and the hot tub is the icing on the cake following a day visiting easy accessible locations within Somerset. Definitely will be revisiting this lodge.

Great location for visiting the Somerset, Dorset, Devon area. Beds and bedrooms very comfortable. Shower very good. Washing machine good. Private garden excellent. Heating and hot water always available.DVD player very basic, would benefit from updating.

Wonderful Place

We had a lovely stay here. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, an excellent layout and everything we needed had been thought of. The hosts, Kate and James, were extremely helpful and friendly. The children loved the hot tub. Lovely pubs nearby and even the sun came out for a few days. Thank you once again.

Family with primary school sons

The Lodge is fantastic. Very beautiful design, fantastic use of space and very well laid out. It's slightly apart from the rest of the farm, giving it a secluded feel and privacy.The farm itself is lovely and perfect for young children, but would equally be a lovely stay for couples or groups.The owners were incredibly welcoming and very, very hospitable. I don't usually bother writing reviews, but we enjoyed our stay here so much - 10/10 would recommend

Summer Break

We had a lovely time at this beautiful house. A great spot to visit the coast, cheddar gorge, Longleat and a whole raft of other places. The house was well appointed throughout and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The hot tub is amazing, we loved watching the sunset overvthe hills in the distance whilst relaxing in the garden. An amazing spot to spend some well earned R&R

Highly recommend

Lovely accommodation for a family holiday in Somerset. Lodge was well equipped, clean and very cosy thanks to the underfloor heating. Hot hub was a hit with kids who used it every day. Good location to visit further afield like Dorset and even Devon! Warehouse theatre in Ilminster was a highlight of our trip and we’d definitely recommend catching a show if you can. Hosts were welcoming and available if needed.

Lounging in the Lodge

Very well appointed luxury stay. Hot tub lovely although we didn't get much chance to use it with several heavy downpours. Toasty warm inside, perhaps too warm for some. We kept slipping off the leather sofas! Super clean and comfortable so overall highly recommended.
