Waterfront, Family Friendly, Bahamian Retreat with 50' Dock

If you are looking for a vacation rental to relax and get away from it all, 'Diamondhead' is for you! 'Diamondhead' is a 1200 square foot fully equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bath family home approximately 55 miles east of West Palm Beach, Florida. It is easily accessible by commercial or private air service as well as by boat. We are bordered by the inlet on one side and a canal on the other with the ocean outside of our back door. This family home is completely furnished and available with all kitchen appliances as well as pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. There is a full-sized washer and dryer. The house comes complete with DirecTV and Wi-Fi. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed while the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds. A trundle bed is located within the great room area. There is a 50 foot dock equipped with electricity and water as well as a storage shed with a freezer for fish and bait. A barbecue grill is included. Our home is in a quiet, secluded area; however, there is a large resort located a few minutes away. Snorkeling for lobsters is available out back while fishing for Wahoo is within shouting distance. $200.00 cleaning fee.

Great Place!

The house was in a great location. Accommodations were great, very clean, and views were amazing. The property manager Eric was great. He was very helpful and provided anything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great spot!

This house was great! There was plenty of room and the house was fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. The dock was perfect for out 42’ boat. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

The house was everything we needed and more. We had a great time. The house is very well equipped. The small countertop ice machine was a bonus. And the extra freezers for bait and ice were awesome.

Amazing location

Stayed for two nights super clean and awesome location. Bring OFF bugs are bad everywhere on the west end after the hurricane, super important you will thank me later !!

Great Stay

My family and I were very happy with this rental property. It was clean and felt like home. There was TV, streaming, and WiFi for the few days of rough weather, and the property owner and manager were easily accessible and very helpful. We truly enjoyed out time at Diamondhead!

West End Guys trip

Firefighters from Orlando. Lots of fishing and snorkeling Had a great time. Definitely coming back! Eric was so accommodating and would do anything for us! We invited him to dinner the last night there. Had a blast. Perfect boat dock with water and electric. Thanks Brad for letting us stay at your house!!!!

Great Get Away

I have stayed at this location for the past couple of years and it never disappoints. The facility is second to none on this side of the islands. The owner and his wife stopped by to say hello and check on everything. Great People.

Perfect Place

This place is perfect and fit all of our needs, and then some. The house has nice open floor plan, bait freezer outside, spacious dock and nice fish cleaning station. Wayne and Eric are amazing to work with. We will definitely be back!

Love this property!

This was our second time staying here and it was a great as the first time! Some comfortable and easily accessible. We cooked every night and the kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed. Eric, the caretaker, was awesome as always. He’s there at arrival and will even bring you a car rental if you need it. I also heard he’s a great chef so next time we will ask him to prepare us a meal! Thanks Brad for hosting us at your house once again. Can’t wait to go back.

Excellent House and Location

I'm very happy to share my experience with this house, Excellent. It is a very comfortable well appointed house that is perfect for a fishing trip. Location is fantastic easy in and out. Eric the manager is always attentive and available he will help you with absolutely anything. Dock is great we had a 42ft and it was perfect size. The house has everything you will need and is in very good condition. Overall very high marks from me and our group!!

Nice place

This is a prime property with dock, power, lighting, ice cold A/C, 3 freezers, good internet. The property manager drove us to town for supplies and was a wonderful ambassador for the island. Group of 5 were comfortable. Nice grill outside cooked a few meals. Everything we needed in the kitchen. We would repeat this stay!

Great Everything!

Process was smooth and easy. Communication was great. Eric the house care taker handled all our needs very quickly. Got us bags of ice daily for fishing/ boating, let us use a caravan to run into town. His nephew was a guide one day out on our boat showing us some spots, we cooked lobster on the grill at the sandbar, and made conch ceviche. Very happy with our experience and will be staying here every time we come to West End.

Great Spot

Great place for a west end stay. We went by boat but you can fly in and arrange to get transported from airport by the care taker. Excellent fishing or go snorkeling right off the beach. We had a great time and caught a massive grouper! The house itself has great views and everything we needed for a good extended weekend of fishing and hanging out. The care taker (Eric) can help you with local spots and transportation. Would definitely go back

Better than expected

This place has everything you could want/need for a stay in the Bahamas. It was very clean and the property manager was there for anything he could help with. Full kitchen with everything including spices and coffee. The accsess to the ocean doesnt get any better as well as the view of the ocean. I will be back the next chance I get!

A few days in paradise !!

The house was exactly what we needed for a few days of hard fishing. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Eric the caretaker met us upon arrival and took care of any needs we had and even took us across to dinner one night. Then went out of his way to bring us some fresh lobster to take back to the mainland. To top off the trip we caught mahi, snapper, wahoo and a blue marlin.

Graduation trip

I took my family to diamond head lodge for my daughters high school graduation . The wife and daughter had never been to the bahamas before and this trip was just amazing . The lodge is so private and the dockage is amazing ! the place is set up to fish or just relax which we did both of . The fishing was so good we only had to go 1 to 2 miles away to catch our dinner and ate at the place across from the house where they cooked our catch . If your looking for privacy , ocean views and beach life in the bahamas you found paradise : Thx again !!!!!
