Lovely quiet position, easy to find , parking more than ample, secure building, friendly hosts without being intrusive, clean throughout with ample facilities in kitchen & TV. Couldn't really have been any better.

Lovely luxury country cottage.

The cottage is ideally placed for those who love to visit English Country Estates such as Burghley, House and Grimsthorpe Castle. The cottage's decor and amenities are of the highest standard

Another fantastic stay at Manor Stables

Such a beautiful, cosy and well equipped property. Everything you need for a weekend break in the countryside with great walks from the door plus fantastic shopping and dining a short drive away at Stamford.

We had a wonderful stay in Lincolnshire. Mandy and Tom were both very kind and helpful, and the property was incredibly clean and full of thoughtful (and useful!) details as well as being surrounded by lovely countryside. Would highly recommend.

The Manor Stables

Had a lovely stay at Mandy’s property. Great location in a lovely quiet village. Property had everything we needed and the welcome gift of a bottle of wine and some milk was much appreciated. Hopefully back again next year for Burghley.

VRBO web site indicates an additional sleeping space which is clearly not the case.That aside - lovely , well equipped , welcome bottle of wine, kitchen basics all in place and delightful host , easy dog walks, everything worked . We loved the location even the pub when open .

Loved everthing about Manor Stables. Cleanest place ever stayed in. Comfortable, stylish & quiet place to relax after busy days cycling and sightseeing in beautiful countryside. Mandy & Tom lovely people. Altogether wonderful. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous English Countryside Vacation

The Manor Stables was absolutely stunning. Beautiful cottage as well as even more stunning location. The church nearby was lovely to walk by, the field next to the cottage held a few darling sheep’s, and then beyond that a breathtaking view of field and public footpaths around; as well as so much to explore around the area. Mandy and Tom were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful, and some of the friendliest people I’ve met. My fiancé and I are definitely planning on coming around again soon, as our visit there was just perfect.

The perfect cottage for a relaxing break

Our week in Mandy and Tom's cottage was perfect from beginning to end. A friendly welcome on our arrival and the reassurance that they were there if we needed any help with anything; we didn't, everything has already been thought of to let you settle in straight away. The bedroom and living room were decorated traditionally with a more modern bathroom and kitchen, all of which were laid out ideally for my wife who has mobility issues. Last of all, Haconby and the surrounding area is a beautiful part of the country and we had a great time visiting Bourne and other villages and towns.

Beautiful cottage in the country

This place was perfect from the moment you drive up to the moment you step in to the property. It was lovely meeting Tom who was very friendly and showed us round when we first arrived. There are lots of countryside walks from the moment you step out the door which was great for our little dog. There is also a really lovely welcoming pub just a stone throw away. Thanks for a lovely stay Mandy and Tom we will definitely be visiting again.

Stunning property

Highly recommend” the stables” , attention to detail and comfort outstanding in this delightful property . Local village delightful with Lovley local walks , further afield Stamford a must for a day out . Can recommend the wishing well pub in local village short drive away ( dog friendly too)

A very special place to stay

We really enjoyed our week at Manor Stables. The cottage is peaceful, comfortable and cosy, beautifully furnished and superbly equipped. Little corners outside for catching the sun were lovely.....we were blessed with sunshine every day! Freedom to wander round the meadow ,fields and the village from the door was wonderful. Watching the dragonflies at the pond was special! Thanks, Mandy, for recommending Grimsthorpe....we had a fantastic day there!

Superb Stay

This is the ultimate in rental properties, ideal for visiting this part of south Lincolnshire. Amenities in the property are amazing, it has been put together so well. The welcome and introduction are standard setting. A beautifully curated place which deserves a visit. Thank you.

A beautiful luxurious converted stable block With every thing that you require for a perfect getaway holiday. Perfect location and ideal surroundings for long walks from the house with your dog. Highly recommend.
