Casa Lisuccia in green hills of the Coast

Casa Lisuccia is a modern home located in the quaint village of Furore; a tranquil location, away yet at easy reach to the hustle and bustle of the eclectic main towns: picturesque Amalfi, busy Positano and neat Praiano. A real treat for travelers in search of a quiet place for a relaxing vacation.

Lisuccia is at 20 minutes from Amalfi by bus or drive and from the beaches. Praiano can be reached also using the well know trail “Path of the God”

At easy reach from the main road and its reserved private parking. You only need to walk 100 meters and 22 steps and you will reach its Sea View private terrace with a magnificent table and chairs where our guests can eat outdoor under the vivid sky and relax on any of the 4 loungers sunbathing in the warm and cuddling sun!

You access the unit into the bright dining room dining room with fitted large kitchen with all modern appliances you can imagine, a large fridge a 5 gas burner stove toaster, microwave and electric oven, dishwasher, blender, a filter and an Italian mocha coffee machines

You can walk into the living room, that has its own door for additional guests that can use as a bedroom, that includes a divan bed that unfolds into a very comfortable double bed that can accommodate 2 guests, comfortably and a wide TV with flat screen.

The corridor will connect to both bedrooms with individual access over the Sea front patio. Each room has a large king size bed (200*200 cm) that can be separated and turned into singles. Two full bathrooms with fantastic modern showers, both with toilet, bidet and washbasin. Clothes washer and dryer are available.

In winter the unit is provided of floor heating, a rarity in the area. So a great place to be enjoyed also during the colder periods.

Amalfi can be easily reached from Furore and from its harbor guests can board ferries to nearby destinations: Capri, Positano and Sorrento. While the Sitabus can get you to Ravello, Praiano or Positano. If you like trekking, do not miss the opportunity to join the worldwide famous Path Of The God that has one of its branches very close to our house.

Location location, location!! Very beautiful and relaxing. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything one needs to have an enjoyable stay. Walking distance to Lucas restaurant for some of the best food.

Stunning cliff top views

We escaped from the crowds each day to this heaven on the hillside. Hosted by a wonderful family who were always available for advice and help during out week there.

Fresh air respite

Property was exceptionally clean upon arrival, view was phenomenal, and the trees surrounding the entire area beautiful. There were lemon, lime, orange, and olive trees everywhere! House itself worked really well for our group who stayed for awhile, bedrooms were nice and spacious, great mattresses, plenty of towels etc. it was a great getaway from the crowds below when sightseeing ended for the day- beautiful property

Clean and comfortable with a fantastic view

Property is clean with new ceramic tiles throughout. Radiant floor heating system works well. Nice small grocery store within 5 min walk with stairs. Only complaint is that we couldn't enjoy eating outside on the terrace because there were several cats that were jumping on the table looking for food. Property owner needs to get rid of these sick, starving cats.

Clean and well equipped. Amazing terrace with a million pound view. TV very basic and patchy signal. Consider a fire stick and take games - we played various card games on the nights we were home in the evening. Secure parking nearby. One flight of outside stairs up to property so be aware when considering booking. Also steps and steep roadside walking to access village amenities- all part of the adventure, but may need to consider this if you have mobility issues. On bus route. We used various transport combos for our stay - driving, bus and ferries depending on what we were doing. Host was readily available via WhatsApp. The No visitor book to see other guests tips and suggestions. Google was our friend both before and during our trip. We walked the Path of the Gods. We went to Pompeii. We visited Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. All beautiful. We went to Capri by ferry from Sorrento - more choices and times. We spent one day on the beach in Minori. We used the facilities at Club California - comfy beds, clean facilities, lovely bar/restaurant and friendly staff. Water was crystal clear.

Beautiful Apartment, average service.

Excellent property, very clean and tidy with wonderful views. I would have given 5 stars but communication and information given was poor. I emailed numerous times and received no response. I even had to ring the company to ask questions as they didn’t respond to messages.

Picturesque Furore

We loved Casa Lisuccia. The apartment was very spacious with 2 large bedrooms with king beds, a living room and a large well appointed kitchen with a dining table. We also had our own private terrace with beautiful views of the sea and coastline. There are lots of lemon trees so you can have freshly squeezed lemon water. There is a private gated parking lot, which was a real bonus since parking can be difficult to find in the area. Any questions that we had were quickly answered. There are some nice restaurants relatively close by where you’ll be getting exercise going up and down stairs. You even have a winery within walking distance, but you’ll need to reserve ahead of time. There are also a lot of restaurants and markets in nearby Agerola.

Beautiful place to stay

We stayed at Casa Lisuccia for six nights. The house is beautiful and is as described. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were great for the four of us. The kitchen was well outfitted; we cooked dinner in twice and had breakfast in every morning. (Only very minor complaints are that the kitchen could use a spatula and the coffee maker either needs a good water line cleaning or needs to be replaced.) The terrace is beautiful, great for sitting out and watching the boats go by - about 1500 feet below you. We really appreciated having excellent parking as that is a rare find on the Amalfi Coast. We also were very pleased to have a washer and dryer as we were in the middle of a seven week trip and really needed to do laundry. There are two little markets relatively close by as well as a couple of restaurants. We found that a trip up to Agerola to get groceries was easy. We would definitely recommend this house for two couples or a family.

Eine Perle an der Amalfiküste

Wir waren zu viert (zwei Paare), was perfekt passte, weil es zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder gibt. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und funktioniert. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich und es gibt einen sicheren Parkplatz. Die Lage oberhalb der Küste auf halber Höhe erlaubt Ausflüge zur Küste oder nach Agerola bzw. weiter nach Neapel und Pompei. Ausblick perfekt. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter perfekt.

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung in bester Lage

Die Wohnung hat viel Platz, eine hervorragende Ausstattung, bei der alles funktioniert und alles in gutem Zustand ist, eine große Terrasse mit phantastischem Blick über die Amalfi-Küste und ist nicht zuletzt durch ein separates Einfahrtstor sicher auch für das eigene Fahrzeug.

Furore apartment stay. August 2019

Lovely location, beautiful views, very clean modern apartment. Away from crowds but close to transportation to all the nearby towns and beaches. Great parking area with only a few steps!!! Would definitely stay again

Casa Lisuccia

This property is beautiful. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. It is very peaceful there. It was comfortable and clean. Listing was unclear as to transportation from Amalfi. Although it says there is bus service the afternoon buses were hot and crowded and it could take up to an hour to return to the house. We were in contact with the management for several issues all of which could have been taken care of had someone been there to meet us when we arrived mid afternoon. There was no information provided that would help us to acclimate to the area. For instance, where to catch the bus, nearest grocery and restaurants and how to get there. The bathrooms were misrepresented. Shower stalls were very small. The management company emphasized that we bring cash for Cleaning and miscellaneous fees but when we arrived no one was there. There was no introduction to to the property and its idiosyncrasies. We weren’t told the WiFi code, had to call the owner late at night to get it when neither of the management people could give us the correct password. We also accidentally locked the key in the door and were charged 100 euro to get it open. We are not novice travelers and we have stayed in Vacation rentals many times around the world, these issues are not common.

Dear Sandra We are happy you have stayed with us and so sorry to hear your negativities. Yet I am due to answer to your criticisms. First of all you had called us in the middle of the night to help you neglecting to leave key in the house and behind the door lock. So a man, in the middle of the night had to break in and repair the door lock. So the 100 euro were to repair a damage caused by you. The visitors’ tax are due to the town and must be paid cash 8not our fault) The password of the Wi-Fi was simply “password”; well it could have been odd, but that was it! So you did not try and explained you that you simply had to use this “common one”. Nothing to be blamed, we sorted it out in instants, even in the middle of the night. We are aware, after many years of experience in the rental business that some typology of guests should rather use hotels when in the need of constant guidance. In your case I would opt for a staffed property or hotel for a more relaxing vacation as holiday homes need familiarize and accept lifestyle of a place, follow some basic rules and be accommodating guests.

Would stay again

Great property, clean, modern, plenty of room. Only issues were oven and washing machine kept causing power failure. Had to reset breaker 2-3 time per day.

The views are phenomenal! Enjoyed our stay! Very nice apartment...

This is a beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath apartment (there is a sofabed in the living room to make a third bedroom if needed). The ceilings are arched and the white-and-blue décor is delightful. We were stunned by the fantastic views from all the rooms and the large terrace, which we wished we had had more time (and a little better weather!) to enjoy. The kitchen was especially nice, and well-stocked with salt, pepper, some spices and coffee. Be sure to give your arrival time to Antoinetta to avoid delays; traffic is a problem here. This place is wonderful to rent.

Beautiful ,modern and comfortable

My family, including my two adult children, just spent five nights in this lovely condo. The condo was clean and well equipped. There are two very comfortable king beds and a sofa bed in what can be closed off to make a third bedroom. The photos do a great job of showing the beauty of the condo and its location. Furore has several restaurants and a small grocery store in walking distance. From the condo everything is either up a set of stairs or down a set of stairs. If you do not have a car there are many steps to climb. We stayed in July and hired a driver to bring us to the condo from Naples. There is parking at the condo, however, we were happy not to drive on the crowded coastal road. It is easy to buy bus tickets at the bar in Furore for the bus to Amalfi. We did take the bus back to Furore several evenings with no problem, however, we found that it was not possible to catch a bus to Amalfi in the morning in July. The buses are already full when they get to Furore. Plan to hire a driver if you wish to go to Amalfi before noon. We found several good drivers on Tripadvisor. We hired a boat to see the Amalfi coast from the water and would never have reached the pier without a driver! Be prepared to pay the city tax in cash when you pick up the keys to the condo.

Amazing spot on the Amalfi Coast

Casa Lisuccia was perfect, clean, spacious, easy to use public buses and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. One thing I would like to have known, was how easy the public transport was. For 1.20 euro you can go about anywhere and the stop is very close to the villa. We rented a car and only drove in and out, the rest of the time it sat parked as the roads are extremely narrow, windy, parking is expensive in the coastal towns and driving can be quite stressful. But the villa itself was absolutely wonderful!
