Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that your experience of our B&B did not live up to your expectations. However, we do not share your account of the facts regarding your dissatisfaction. When Regina complained about her discomfort with the humidity, we considered her request immediately. We bought and installed two water-absorbing trays in the flat (which were still empty of water after a week!...). We noticed that the controlled mechanical ventilation in the kitchen was no longer working, but we couldn't find a specialist company available to fix the problem quickly as it was mid-August. Over the next three days, we managed to repair and replace the mechanical ventilation system ourselves. It's important to point out that as the B&B is situated between close to a river, a humidity level of 70% is normal. In addition, it was very hot (35°C) and, for some people, the humidity in the air is more difficult to bear. Since 2007, hundreds of holidaymakers have stayed in this B&B in all seasons, and none of them has ever complained of damp or unpleasant odours. The cottage is very healthy, with no trace of damp or mould. After Regina's stay, I interviewed guests from the following two weeks who have confirmed it too. We are sorry that Regina was inconvenienced but her comments and harsh judgement are unjustified.
