Corporate retreat

We had such a wonderful time in this gorgeous property. It’s stunning with everything you could need as well as accommodating a large group. We managed to walk into town for parties but still feel like we had our own little oasis! Perfect stay!

We found the house very spacious for our 2 families . Perfect location near the seafront and a short walk to local shops and restaurants. The hosts covered everything on the emails which meant we were able to make the most of the lovely house . Thank you

Lovely stay in great location

Lovely property, clean and well equipped. Great location for the pier and marina. There are a number of great shops and cafes near to the house for breakfast - would recommend the Egg & Spoon. Only consideration for less mobile guests is that 3 or the bedrooms are on the top floor; lots of steps!

Fabulous Weekend Away

Beautiful Townhouse in a fabulous location. Came away for a celebration and it couldnt have been more perfect. Thank you so much for all your help on the lead up Tracy and thank you Faye and Ian for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Wonderful Brighton

A lovely house with lots of extras provided - this made life much easier for people arriving without a car. In our case it was especially suitable for teenagers who want to spend time without adults around! Lots of useful shops and eateries within a few minutes walk and an easy walk or bus ride into the centre of Brighton.

Wonderful stay

We never get our family together as they are spread far and wide so needed a large house to accommodate us all in a great location and this property met all our needs. It is huge and has everything a large family needs. It is spectacular but also feels very relaxed and everyone felt at home there immediately. We are definitely going to make this an annual event and really look forward to staying again next year. Thank you to Tracy and the owners for your comprehensive support and joining instructions - these were amazing. I would highly recommend this property.

Christmas in Brighton on remember

My wedding was in Brighton just after Christmas so I booked my very large family a place where all 14 of them could spend together. Portland Place really exceeded all our expectations. Not only was it as described but seeing it in person was even better. It was also decorated for Christmas which made it feel cozy and festive since they were all there from Christmas eve onwards. I came over for dinner a few times and the main kitchen and table is the first time that all 15 of us could fit around a table. We had some memorable dinners and chats. Overall, would highly recommend for anyone hoping to have an unforgettable stay.

This was an absolutely fantastic holiday place.We had several dips in the sea. We really didn’t get to use it to its full potential, didn’t use the bottom kitchen or all the cool built-in music/movie aps etc.The space was perfect for having local family come down and visit with us in a space that allowed for easy mingling and communication. We preferred the time we spent in the house to the time we spent in restaurants.It was walking distance to the beach. (Near the stairs down, wish there had been a working lift only because it would have been easier on the elders) . The location was ideally suited to allow a morning run and dip in the sea. We walked to the marina in 20 minutes. We walked to the pier in less than 20 minutes. We caught an Express bus just 3 minutes walk to go and hike the seven sisters.We used the cinema room to watch world cup matches. We loved the built-in espresso maker. The kitchen was well equipped. There were enough crockery and cups to obviate need for extra washing up.The beds were comfortable there were plenty of areas for sitting reading, socializing, and room for people to be by themselves.We were there during a super hot week and we didn’t even notice the lack of air-conditioning because of the breezes through the house.We did make use of the laundry facilities, which was super useful with several smelly teenagers.The stairs were a bit of a challenge for our octogenarians. However, they did manage well. Loved it!

Absolutely Outstanding

From the moment we booked the property Faye and Tracy were in contact and supplied so much useful information, and instantly answered all of my questions. Before we arrived we received information on how to operate everything in the house which was so helpful. On arrival we were welcomed by 3 bottles of champagne and WOW, the house!!! Just stunning. Everything was so clean and everything we needed was there. The house is stunning and beautifully decorated, it was just a perfect stay and everyone commented on how lovely it was. The location is just perfect Would highly recommend and thank you so much for a perfect stay and all your help Faye and team xx

We had an incredible time at the Luxury Townhouse! Such a lovely relaxing weekend and so nice to stay somewhere where every bed was comfy! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Best house in Brighton

The house is grand, beautiful and has everything thought out. Rooms are beautiful, bedrooms look like 5 star hotel rooms and kitchen has everything you ever want. We had the best time, close to the beach, neighbourhood is full of happy surprises, including amazing bakery just around the corner. With teenagers there is all the space for everyone to enjoy the house. Great house to explore Brighton and beyond.

Elegant house for seeing Brighton and the English Channel

This house is an elegant place to stay when visiting Brighton. There is a gorgeous view of the English Channel from the house. The kitchen is very well stocked for preparing meals with plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans, and useful modern appliances. There is a ultra modern coffee machine, an electric kettle for boiling water for tea and other amenities in the kitchen. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are lovely with showers and old fashioned tubs. Hot water is ample and towels are very thick. The location is a short distance from the Brighton Pier; not too close so there is no unpleasant noise. The area is quiet at night allowing one to sleep peacefully. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rare, restored English house and thank the owner for her courtesy and kindness.

Beautiful large property.

We had an amazing stay. The house is gorgeous. We were a large group celebrating a birthday and there was plenty of space. Lots of attention to detail. Short walk to the pier. The only thing that let us down was the weather. Big THANK YOU to Faye, Ian & Jon.

Amazing home to match great location

Could not have picked a better home to rent, Faye the owner is super responsive and home is absolutely perfect with plenty of space and super clean. Great location and overall a wonderful family experience.
